My husband and I got recently a quote from here. A gentleman came to take measurements. He arrived…read moreon time and knew the product we wanted. My husband had done a lot of research of the limitations of the materials we wanted to install (moisture and wear) and was impressed that this man knew the product so well. A few days later we got the quote. It was astronomical. We wanted to work with this store, so we called to ask why it was so high. This was not our first quote. I would not leave a one-star review for just a slightly higher price. This was a full 140% of what everyone else charges for the same exact product. As crazy as that is, even that wouldn't merit one star. The one-star review is for the snow job we got when asking why materials were so high. We were told this was the "landed price" and that other places probably charge shipping. Well, no...in fact shipping was free from other places. We pointed this out, and he said "Well, if that's the case, send me a quote from somewhere else in writing, and I'll have to have a talk with the sales guys." Posting this so any future customers make sure to shop around before accepting a quote. I'd hate to think if we were less informed and just accepted the job because we liked the guy. It was literally thousands more just for materials. Their labor, which they subcontract, was super high too. Disappointed since we wanted to work with them. Not a lot of good options in the Capital Region.

Needless to say, we prefer to buy quality…read more Best Fire Hearth & Patio offers a large selection of high quality outdoor furniture in one location. After browsing and sitting in various manufacture's products we decided upon a product built locally by Telescope. At this point, the salesman who was assisting us (Tim Fleming), and not hovering over us while we browsed and tried out different chairs, sat with us to help us select furniture color and fabric. He was very helpful throughout the entire transaction. He knew his store's products very well, including available fabrics. Because of his knowledge, we also discussed with him a second project we were considering which included the repainting and reupholstering of some existing chairs. He was equally helpful in indentifying the style of our chairs and assisting us with a quote for this project. While no decision has yet been made on this second project, our Telescope furniture has been delivered within the projected 3 weeks. Finally, Best Fire inspected the Telescope furniture before delivery and noticed a small imperfection in one of the chairs. Upon delivery the imperfection was pointed out to us and we were informed that a warranty claim had already been submitted by Best Fire on our behalf. The replacement chair should be delivered in about 3 weeks at which time they will take back the damaged chair. This is the kind of service and attention to detail that you look for in a company. There is no doubt that we will consider Best Fire for our future business needs.
