The building itself is massive and huge, housing many sections filled with furniture and tools of different kinds like for the kitchen, living room and bathroom, along with rooms for lighting and the warehouse where you can grab your stuff. This isn't even the bulk of it, and we spent a while in here while also getting some dessert! DISCLAIMER: If you're here for just food and/or know how IKEA works, you can skip the next two paragraphs of this review. When you get in, you can pick up a brochure outlining the approximate layout of the building's section and a small pencil. For almost every room, the larger furnitures have numbers on them that correspond to the parts you pick up yourself from their warehouse section, which comes just before the cash registers. There are smaller objects like small lamps, nuts and bolts, fixtures and pots that you can just pick up and put in your cart/bag. Even though each area is numbered a certain way and the map on the brochure looks linear, you can skip sections via shortcuts placed throughout. Otherwise, you follow the nicely placed arrows guiding you through all the sections and just enjoy the placements of some of the things you wanna get. I found myself oogling over the kitchen and bedroom setups every once in a while! Once you're done with all of that, you can purchase your items either through self checkout or at the registers where staff help you. Some of them also stay by the self-checkout areas and assist those who have trouble with some of the features. Some simple tips I have for grabbing objects: - Depending on what you get, make sure you grab ALL the parts for the stuff you get in the warehouse! They're usually clearly labeled but it's easy to miss some of them. - My friend used the IKEA app and came prepared ahead of time with a long list of items he wanted. He used some of the computers spread around the store to help him find which specific room carried the object(s) he was looking for. - Writing the numbers for larger goodies isn't always helpful as you might not remember what an object looks like when you reach the warehouse. I usually take photos of that number along with the object so I can gauge if I'm getting the right things. After doing all that shopping, we stopped by the small cafe just after the cash registers and got ourselves their frozen yogurt, which essentially tastes like vanilla ice cream but has a slightly different consistency from regular ice cream, something I can only describe as being a lot smoother than ice cream and a little tart. The cone it's served in is your standard ice cream cone. From friends who love going here, they advise to go during weekdays when it's not as packed, and to not try the overhype Swedish meatballs either. You can buy retail at an amazing price. I'm a big fan of buying through wholesale and professional suppliers - go direct for the best! Their website shows their specialties. Now that is saunas, metal fences and gates, and event tents. They also have short cycle products - they were at the end of selling inflatable rubber rafts. They were clearing them out after removing them from their website. They often have a selection of random items like parquet panels, stuffed toys, and plastic fruit at the import price. You can track their sales and special items on their website. They have the famous metal frame poly-vinyl carport cheaper than Costco. I verified by voice phone they had stock, visited, paid, and left with the item. They did a stellar job on post purchase support. They have a telephone and Internet inside sales group. They will load the items in your vehicle. Just waiting at the counter you can see and hear how fast the call center works and observe their customer focus. I would recommend Aleko for the products they have that you need.

I ended up choosing David from David Robertson Design for a few reasons - firstly, his work - it's amazing, really cutting edge and modern - I knew it would attract the sort of buyer I was looking for in my location. A number of agents have made comments about how great the place looks after staging. In addition, David was upfront - I had a Craftsman in Seattle, it was hardly the type of home with the lighting etc that you would want to put modern furniture in, so David even said to be honest it probably wouldn't work in it's current setup so he in fact was honest with me and wasn't just trying to win business. I made some changes to my lighting and as you'll see from the pictures it's nothing short of amazing. His team over a two day period, brought all the pieces to the house and set things up, they asked not to be interrupted and for me to wait for the final result - I agree, not interrupting them and letting their creative skills work. The final result was amazing I wouldn't have changed as thing and i'm generally super pedantic about things. Price - given the huge size of the property 3000+ sq ft, the price was excellent at $5,800. In addition, the monthly fee was just $900 including tax. This compared to others who were quoting nearly $2,000 per month. This was a key contributing factor as I honestly wasn't sure how long it would take for me to sell my property. Finally, one mattress was running a bit flat, and David organized for one of his colleagues to come around even late in the evening on a weekend to get it resolved. Now that's service. Friendly, flexible (he was also able to change the date of the setup to a date which worked for me), made working with David amazing. I would absolutely use David again, I was told he also has a large warehouse of furniture so I guess unlike a smaller staging business the quantity of product and supply is there and there is no short changing - they even put towels, etc in the bathrooms. Even shampoos. Great work. Highly recommended, definitely one if not the best stager in Seattle.
