We were in a large group and as soon as we launched through the door, we were met with curious eyes! The locals had set up in what I assume their regular spots and thus, wondered what this new crew was doing here. In no time, those curious became very welcoming! However, as we enjoyed some libations and a bit of pool... we were the ones joining the locals with eyes filled with awe and curiosity! A very young wedding party showed up and took the bar over but in a very cordial way. Many locals stayed but we left, given the gift of fun for the wedding crew!

I don't think Ten-01 is ADA accessible. There is a small run-down outdoor seating area. Ten-01 offers a full bar along with draft beer. The bar is downstairs while the kitchen is upstairs. Upstairs one will also find a pool table and the band stage for live entertainment. If a train passes during your visit, Ten-01 offers a $2 beer. There were no trains during our visit. Taco Tuesday is offered every day of the week; 3 tacos for $5. Food items consist of pizza, burgers and standard bar food. While deciding on our lunch, we slurped on a Manny's and Bodhi for $7 each. For our meal we ordered the 13" Chicken Ranch Pizza for $15: white sauce, mozzarella, mushrooms, red onions, chicken and bacon. Ten-01 was out of mushrooms so black olives were substituted in place of the mushrooms. White onions were on the pizza instead of the listed red onions. The standard parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes were never offered or brought to our table. The entire pizza was a disappointment. Before leaving, my wife had a Jameson on the rocks for $10 and I had a Hendricks and soda for $12. Staff was friendly. Overall, Ten-01 is overpriced in their beers and cocktails compared to the surrounding bars. Pizza is an indulgence, instead I left mad about my lunch choice. Go to the White Buffalo for exceptional pizza. The overall bar is too unkempt for my liking. We will never return.

The 80s called... they want their arcade back (and maybe their joysticks too)!…read more We first spotted Crave 80s Arcade Bar while staying overnight at the hotel that shares its parking lot. At the time, we couldn't check it out because we had our dogs with us. The name came up again at the Marysville Strawberry Festival, and when a friend was in town, we decided to give it a try after dinner. While I was born in the 80s, I wasn't exactly hanging out in arcades back then, so this was a bit of a nostalgic first. When you walk in, the walls are lined with pinball machines. There are a few other games scattered around, but pinball is definitely the star here. At the bar, I asked if there was more to the place, and the bartender pointed us to a "living room" behind the bar where you can sit and play Atari or the original Nintendo. The menus came in trapper keepers, complete with the satisfying Velcro sound, which was a fun touch. The guys jumped on the Atari first, but the joysticks didn't seem to work quite right. They moved on to the Nintendo, which was actually a Raspberry Pi loaded with multiple games. After a short stint there, we headed back out to the pinball area. I'm no pinball expert, but we happened to be there during a tournament, and the boys got schooled by some regulars, which made the experience a bit more fun. I also enjoyed the glass case filled with 80s miniatures and artifacts, and the vending machine stocked with nostalgic items like games, books, and snacks you'd expect from that era. Overall, it was a cool concept but felt a bit underwhelming. It's worth checking out once if you're in the area, but it's not a place we'll likely revisit.

Service is just unbelievably sweet and friendly and they clearly know their way around a drink menu. In long Not what you'd expect in Snohomish, and that's very much to its credit. It's a nondescript little building with no signage at all. You can probably roll a wheelchair in over the transom, though the sidewalk is a little slopy here. You open the door, push aside the curtain, and wait for your eyes to adjust. Super dim inside. The bar is right across from the door, flanked by 2 seating areas. Antique furniture and wall art, going for that 1920s look and doing it very well--while also keeping it comfortable for long sits. The crowd isn't trying to match the period clothing or anything, it's just a bunch of fun younger Snohomies hanging out and drinking cocktails. The bartender hands you a menu of a dozen and a half cocktails, mostly vintage, vintage-sounding, or using vintage ingredients or techniques (e.g., 3 different offerings with egg whites). Prices are fair enough, and they bring out your drink when it's ready. Vintage-looking glassware--cool! There's another big room past the bar, lots of Edison bulbs here and there, but not so many as to create even a hint of glare anywhere. There's a washroom in the far corner, definitely big enough to be accessible. Now I can't remember whether there were grab bars. The ceilings in here are all different heights, most covered with pressed tin. Nice effect. There's one window that hasn't been covered, so a little natural light gets in. It was kind of fun trying to imagine what kinds of businesses might have been in here before it became a speakeasy. There's a staircase to a small loft office space. Overall, if you're antique shopping or just out and about in Snoho, this is a good stop and you should check it out at least once. Really nice vibe. They allow outside food--one table ran around the corner for pizzas and brought them back in. I'll come back for sure.

If you're in the mood for a basic place where they do everything right, you can probably round up a star. In long This has been at least one other sports bar, and you might be surprised how big it is inside. There's a decent amount of parking, and a ton of reliable places to eat also surround this lot. I came in to check out Husky hoops yesterday afternoon, which nobody around here was showing since it was on a streaming platform. The place was empty when I showed up 'cause it was way between lunch and dinner, so I got to chat with the cool bartender a bit. She had already scoured their channel guides to see which local teams she'd be able to show, so we shared a cheerful grumble about how you can't just get one subscription to cable anymore and see all your teams' games. I didn't get the sense she was a sports dork like me, so she was doing this so she could do a good job at work. I like that!@ This place from the outside looks like it might seat about 25, but the reality is that it's several times that big. Dozen pool tables scattered around, plenty of room for everybody to line up shots. Couple dozen TVs. Huge horseshoe-shaped bar going from the middle of room to the back corner, lots of stools. You can see a few nice choices for spirits here and there. Full bar for sure. Beers are a little on the industrial side, probably no wines. She mixed a decent old-fashioned for me, but asked multiple questions about how I liked it. I really loved how detailed she was with everything--which games are on, which drinks they have, how to make them, how they serve their food. She didn't seem like the owner (I don't think) but she knew the whole place like the back of her hand. I had a prime rib dip, which was just the sandwich you want when you can have a little cheat. Good chewy onion rings that didn't pull apart after one bite--you get batter and onion, both, every time. Jus was good, meat was tender, bread had a nice chew to it. The chef puts his name on at least one dish, and the bartender went on about how much scratch cooking he does. I asked if she recommended something specific, and she rattled off half the menu. This is definitely a place where you can happily eat during the game. I was out the door with a meal and a drink for under $30, which is an amazing value these days.
