I called for carpenter bees on my roof eave. After three attempts they were only able to reach part of the eave. The contract was for a year. They treated for ants. So not worth the money for that. read more

Their office staff -Roxanne refused to provide me with a manager's name or allow me to talk to them directly before she rudely hanged up on me. This afternoon, I was alerted that someone was on my property via my Ring doorbell alert (No- their staff did not ring the bell or knock my the door). Their tech "Justin" was walking around my property looking all around, then walking up and down the sidewalk in front of my neighbors' houses. No work van/ truck was visible. A little odd to do this without providing any notification to the homeowners on why you are on our property. When Justin came back on my property I asked via the Ring doorbell "who was he, and why he was on the property." He stated "doing termites checks" - but DID NOT INDENITFY himself or his company until I asked him what's his company's name, and his name was. I called Home Paramount Pest Control- Fallston, MD- office immediately. A lady named Roxane answered the phone, I told her that there was a tech on my property without my permission/ acknowledge. She stated that the previous owners had a contract, and since it wasn't renewed they are removing the traps. I stated "I should have been notified that a tech would be coming on my property to remove them. A pretty simple request since I am the owner of the property. I told her I wanted to talk to a manager on duty, because I should have been notified prior to someone just showing up on my property unannounced." She told me she would take my name, and someone would call me back. I stated again "No I want the name of a manager, and to speak to them now" She they said "No you aren't" and then HUNG ON ME!! What kind of business just shows up without making the home owner aware?? I understand that the contract was voided from the previous owner, but that doesn't allow your company to show up without making contact first with the current home owner. Their tech only had to knock or ring my doorbell - identifying the company and his purpose. But no, apparently they train their staff to go on private property without making proper contact first. I wrote an email - but it's just a generic email address listed on their website. read more

this review also goes for their forest hill md location. seems they do not want to register that location on yelp because the reviews will be bad as well. stay away from the company in general. none of their locations are customer friendly. horibble internal system and the disrespect is widespread. go with someone else read more

I have to second the one star review. The first visit was great. A guy came out. Was very thorough, and explained everything he was doing. After that I kind of left it on autopilot. Well one day, I was home and watched a guy come in the backyard, spray for about 30 seconds, covering only a fraction of the yard. Didn't spray my house at all. Then he sat in his car for the next 15 or 20 minutes. I immediately called Home Paramount and complained that it wasn't done properly. I canceled the service. I said I wasn't paying for something that wasn't being done, and the woman on the phone assured me it would be taken care of. Well, over the next two months I continue to get bills. I called, and again told them what happened. The woman on the phone said that she spoke to the guy who came out, and he claims he did the service properly. So the company was believing him, said I was lying. I called corporate and they said that someone would come out and spray again if I paid the $110 fee for that month. Well I called back the branch office and told them not to come. That I still wasn't paying for the service that they didn't do. They sent the bill to collections. Worst company ever, I hope they go out of business. They can't treat customers like this. They didn't do the service that they were contracted to do, and now they're trying to force me to pay for it. read more

They missed 4 appointments in 1 week. 3 out of 4 times they did not even call to cancel. Just never showed with zero notice. After the third time, a service manager said he would personally come do my service. He too missed the appointment with zero notice. I ask to speak to the branch manager and they keep sending me to the service manager who never showed and is now not available to be reached by their office whenever I call. I paid for a one year contract and can't get them to come out. Terrible experience and waste of money. If they won't come do the service then I want a refund! read more

I have been a customer of Home Paramount for several years. In the beginning their service was great. As time went on, the service started going down hill. The tech wasn't spraying thoroughly and several times had to return to do a repeat spray. However, in the past 2 years their service has become less than acceptable.They started unilaterally scheduling random appointments without our knowledge and would show up with no one being home. Then the tech would blow up our phones until we answered and would tell us they are at the house. Then they would never call back to reschedule the appt. The final straw however was when we recv'd a bill for services that were never performed-- we were out of state for 3 months and had proof--. After contacting them, they agreed to zero out the bill because they could not determine whether or not the service was performed. However, the bill had already been sent to collection. Since then I have spent the last year fighting with the collection co and Home Paramount to correct this but can get absolutely no cooperation from either side. Paramount continues to tell me our acct is a zero balance and basically not to worry about it, however it's my credit that will be effected. Paramount made the error and should be responsible for correcting it and are refusing to do so. BEWARE, if you prefer getting what you pay for do NOT use Home Paramount. read more

This may be a franchise set up, but it doesn't matter whether you're dealing with the 'home office' or the 'local office, they CAN'T get appointments right. After being a recurring regular customer for 18 months, I fired these people. They do NOT understand 'Saturday morning service', and when you select a time (7 - 9 am), they call with an autotron to confirm 1 - 3 p.m. When you press 'two' for "NO", they still show up at the wrong time. This happened in various permutations four times. I gave up. Pick someone else! read more

Horrible business. Made a huge mistake by doing business after hours let go. I'm leaving this review as a customer. Whether it's the turnover rate in employees/technicians or the company letting go valuable technicians. When I worked there for over 2 1/2 years I heard nothing but "where is this name and that name" from almost every single customer I went to or hearing it from other technicians from their customers. These people worked there for over 20 years. Surely after I was let go the same thing happened. I heard from former and one last current technician that customers really miss me, let alone the previous valuable technicians. I have a stack of customer reviews from when I work there... All positive. Unfortunately it's all about money with them as they are in independent company owned by a... Utterly unexpendable. I wanted to get out of the warehouse which is why I wanted a change in scenery in the job market. I'm so glad I learned what I learned when I worked there. Valuable information that I still remember and won't forget. All I have to do is get my own supplies and voila. I still have customers calling my personal phone for assistance. Unfortunately I have no supplies And I told them I no longer work at the company. This is just honesty here, this review. Whether doing jobs when I work there and hearing from customers such bad reviews And how lucky they were to get a technician like me that day or morning. I don't think there's a single positive thing the customers have said that I can think of that didn't have anything to do with me or the valuable employees that were let go. I could go with length here and say horrible things. What I'm saying now on this review is just a fraction. I won't include the HR rep, the previous branch and service management, customer service and utter rudeness on levels that I've never seen before and experienced. Even a certain dentist office hates their service but it's just so convenient because there headquarter building is across the street lol. I think upset all I had to say here. Service is ok. Deceptive customer service/ Billing. Called to cancel but still receive bill even after canceling the service. Also, front office acted like they don't have no connection to the techs when I called mentioning service was supposed to be already canceled. I recommended not doing business with these people. unless.. you want them to trick you with their play dumb tactic. read more

Home Paramount has serviced my home for multiple years, for both insects and termites. Generally, they get things done correctly, and they have worked with me when there have been issues. My current technician is Doug. He has been very polite, and has done a good job. He has shown up on time. They have also been pretty flexible on working with me in scheduling the service. read more
