After going to several bespoke tile stores, walking into Floor and Decor was like a breath of fresh air. The Experience: We were greater and escorted around the whole store by Lydia who took her time to explain the different tiles, measurements, calculations, etc. She was amazing. She even showed us our grout options. We definitely walked out with a complete picture and tile to match. Parking: This is a huge stand alone store location. It is just amazing. Since it is a stand alone, it has it own massive lot with wide parking spaces. That is appreciated since they have flatbeds rollers for shopping. Floor: The options of tile are wall to wall (ceramic, porcelain, stone, marble, etc.). My suggestion is to come in with your measurements because these tiles go fast! Decor: To get a better idea of how to arrange your tile, there are design examples of life size restrooms when you walk in to the right! To answer the question of if I will be back! Turns out it was a great suggestion that enabled us to save money on floors and spend that planned money on new appliances in our new, 20-yr old house. We had our vinyl floors installed in 2018. Originally we were going to go with an engineered hardwood or laminate but due to dogs and potential water issues, Mike suggested we use a multilayered vinyl. It was a great suggestion. Although installation took a little longer than expected, we're in love with our floors and the price. We came back three years later in 2021 and had the rest of our carpet replaced with new carpet. The latest installers were VERY quick and did a great job. Again, price was exceptional.

They have a lot to offer if you are as picky as me. Mike was great and helpful at assisting us with floor collections and brought 4 different samples to our house the next day for measurements. However, we didn't know that nightmare began after we signed the contract. We decided to go with vinyls for all upstairs floor. Mike told us that his team will start on the next Monday, latest the Tuesday. However, he NEVER called on Monday to update me on his team's schedule. So I had to call him and heard him saying " I was just about to call you". The team didn't show up on Monday, they came Tuesday morning around 8am. Things went well the first day, demo was fast. The second day, the team came around same time, but they slowed down a lot, and left the house an hour earlier compared to Tuesday. Same thing with the third day, they left one hour earlier and say they will come back to finish the rest on Friday. After they left and finished on Friday, floor looked nice at first. But then we started to find many detail problems. Up until this point, we NEVER hear anything from Mike to ask if we were satisfied with the work. Our floor was not level, and we could feel the bumps and floor was moving and making sounds. So we contacted Mike and had him and his worker to come in and talk about the problems. On the day, we had to reschedule, so I called Mike to reschedule. He said he will ask his guy first and call me back shorty. 3 HOURs later, I still DIDN'T hear anything from him, and our new appointment is in 30 mins. So I texted him with attitude of course ( it's been more than one time he supposed to update me, but he didn't!) Then Mike and the worker came to check the floor. And they told me " cuz our floor is CHEAP, so that's why it's not level!" And Mike was blaming on his worker in front of me saying that the worker didn't update him or me and decided on his own of what to do with our floor. We gave them permission to float our floor when necessary at the beginning and they decided not to use it and came back to tell me our floor is cheap! The team came back to fix the floor the following week. They just decided to float EVERYWHERE this time. I don't even know if that's necessary. They used a total of 15 bags of float. It took the team another 4 days to finish the floor and came back extra 2 times to fix the minor details and the side. We had not hear from Mike at all since he came and told me our house floor is cheap. And all he ever contacted us was to have his check! The quality of the floor is great, the work was not to our satisfaction, but the encountering experience with Mike was bad! And supposed to be 3 days of work( according to Mike), it took them 8 days to finish. I'm not going to say everyone have the experience like us, but just make sure if you decide to work with Mike, call him first and ask what is going on first, so you can plan your time as you needed. And make sure check on all the detail works.

I was looking into getting new countertops in kitchen, reached out to Milestone and explained to…read morethem the type of material I was looking for, which was quartz with grey veining and repeated mentioned I wanted veins going the same direction through out kitchen and no visible seams, I was assured they could do the job. Day of install came and one of the panels was going vertically and everything else horizontally. Reached out to John and after a little back and forth he agreed to replace the panel at no extra charge. When day of replacement came it was only a crew of 2 guys, they struggled a little to move stove and were concerned about gas line as they were unsure how to close it, the guy in charge took them outside and told them to be quiet, stop complaining and get it done. 3 months after replacement section was installed and final payment was made my countertops cracked! I reached out again via email to John, several people from his team came out to look at countertops a couple of times and I was told they'd replace them once they had the same material leftover from another job. That was over a year ago! I repeatedly reached out to John and James who now no longer works with John and I was just given more excuses. I consulted with another company and I was told the reason for counters cracking was most likely bad installation since there were no signs. We also paid for cabinet lighting and lights went out a day after installing after having guy come out multiple times we gave up. I have recently filed a complaint with the BBB, countertops should have come with some type of warranty for at least a year.

My friend had purchased everything for me as a house warming gift and I needed to return the rug because it was too small. I waited in like 20 minutes, got up to the register and was told I needed the card used to make the return. I explained my friend from out of town bought it for me and it was too small. They would NOT take the return without the card used... They didn't even let me just have store credit. Very disappointing. So my friend won't be back for another 6 weeks and then we can go make the return. Ugh.
