Worse place ever, I bought a cutting board 3 days ago, and only used once to cut some potatoes very gently, after wash I found a crack in the middle, the water made it more visible . They refused to return since it's not in resalable condition because I used once. How dare they resale a defective product like this?! I think they just don't want to return. And just found they only return store credits not money, definitely won't purchase anything from there in the future. read more

I purchased 2 fairly large wall art pieces from a HomeGoods/Marshalls in River Oaks. I live in the Pearland area, and went to return the wall art at this HomeGoods. The sales associate asked for my phone to view the electronic receipt and took it to the manager on duty, Renee. The manager comes to the register and tells me I cant return it because the department number information written on back of art doesn't match what's in the system. Now I have a receipt and the items with the matching price tag, all within the 30 day return policy. The manager, Renee tells me I have to take it back to the store where I purchased the items. I called the other store myself, spoke with a friendly manager who called Renee to provide the information and she still refused to return the items. A manager. Refusing a return to a customer with a receipt and the matching price tag. Interesting she told me the written number price is more than I paid and she still refused my refund with receipt. Extremely poor customer service! Unwilling to follow policy or even assist once manager from other store called. read more

Rene is manager on duty is the rudest person! She's a poor leader snapping at staff for asking basic questions being extremely difficult to customers all at the same time. I pulled her aside very politely she stared at me dead in eye said ok mam ok mam she also doesn't wear a name tag says she doesn't have to since she's in management. This lady needs to retire immediately talk about ruining the fun vibe in the store. read more

After my Target run I always stop here to see what goodies I can snatch up. Well I'm not sure what's going on, but the employees are getting real unprofessional in front of customers. Yelling back and forth to each other to communicate instead of getting closer like regular adults communicate in public. I once asked this lady working if their pumpkins were on sale since they were in the clearance isle. She said "There ain't no pumpkins in clearance." I said yes there is I just seen some over there. She proceeded to tell me to show her where. Uhmm don't you work here? You know where the clearance isle is. You can walk yourself there and check. It's like she wanted to argue and be right or something. Definitely not very customer friendly. She had an attitude to go with it. Thumbs down to this home goods customer service!! read more

They have a great selection of name-brand products for the home: dishware, gourmet foods, gifts, candles, kitchen and bath items, cleaning and organizing supplies, artwork, lamps, furniture, rugs, books, pet items, stationery, frames .... The list goes on! The thing about HomeGoods is that it's never the same place twice, so if you see something you like, chances are it might not be there then next time you come in. This is starting to become my wife and I's favorite store. Imagine the home good section of Marshall's / Ross, but it's the whole store! They have so much name brand stuff at ridiculously low prices. We find similar quality stuff as Pier 1 here but at 1/4-1/2 the price. I wish we had one closer to my house! read more

Home Goods is like any other home decor store. This particular location is really well organized and neat. I have been to other locations where people go through items and make a mess and it probably isn't straightened up until the store closes. My wife and I had a game plan coming in and knew exactly what we were looking for. The particular item was easy to find and the store actually had a good variety to choose from. Horrible employees with horrible management. Employees looked drained. I came to buy a rug and when I went to ask someone to help me, the employee helping me instantly had an unpleasant attitude. One even avoided eye contact with me when they saw I needed help. I stood there for 20 minutes waiting and looking for an available employee. The manager on duty, who goes by Renee is extremely unpleasant and rude right off the bat. I've listened to how she treats customers in line and her employees as well. I would say avoid this place at all costs. You won't have a pleasant experience at all. Take your business elsewhere. read more

I stopped in to find a few indoor pots to transplant a bunch of plants that have outgrown their homes. While they did not have what I was looking for, I did find three vases that will look great in various rooms. I plan to go to Hobby Lobby soon to create some arrangements to showcase them. I like that this is a separate store from Marshalls and is a Home goods only store. It is large and has tons of decor to choose from. I love that the staff has displays throughout the store with color organization! The store is well kept and in a good location. read more

It used to be our favorite store, but in recent months we've noticed changes in the layout and selection of products that made us come out with empty hands. They used to carry very good and rare products from all over the world, but it doesn't seem to be the case anymore (change in management perhaps?). I love Home goods because they are budget friendly. I walked into this Home Goods store over the holidays but was looking for absolutely nothing I just happened to be in the area visiting my friend that lives less than a mile away. I always get drawn in to home stores because I love decor. Once I walked in I got greeted by the cashiers. To my right were shelves filled with beautiful wine and martini glasses and directly in front of me they had an entire seating room set up with everything color coordinated in red and beige. Inspiration! Baskets, woven pillows, throws, chairs, stools, tables, lamps, wall decor oh how I love it. Most of the aisles are color coordinated making it easy to browse. I have a thing for large glass vases and they had very unique styles in all sorts of colors and sizes. I needed nothing, but of course, I found their clearance section and ended up buying 4 wine glasses, decorative napkins and some plates. I was there with my friend who ended up purchasing a lemonade container, cups, a plate set, sheets and towels. Home Goods is the ish for home items. Love! read more
