Just visited AtHome for the first time ever. (There was one where we used to live but I never got…read morearound to going there). My friend and I wandered around for awhile because there is SO MUCH TO LOOK AT. Possibly due to Covid-19 and everyone wanting to redo their homes during this quarantine, many areas seemed bare... especially the outdoor area. I found some items I was looking for: a pillow, some baskets, an outdoor rug and a piece of wall art. Prices are great and most of my stuff was on clearance! My friend had purchased everything for me as a house warming gift and I needed to return the rug because it was too small. I waited in like 20 minutes, got up to the register and was told I needed the card used to make the return. I explained my friend from out of town bought it for me and it was too small. They would NOT take the return without the card used... They didn't even let me just have store credit. Very disappointing. So my friend won't be back for another 6 weeks and then we can go make the return. Ugh.

I love their novelties and seasonal decor. They always have fun items and beautiful artwork. They also have plenty of coupons and discounts. They even have an app that allows you to spin and win discounts. Though some employees can be less helpful than others, they are pretty helpful here and the manager was nice last time I went in. This is also a great place to shop for gifts for any occasion.

After going to several bespoke tile stores, walking into Floor and Decor was like a breath of fresh air. The Experience: We were greater and escorted around the whole store by Lydia who took her time to explain the different tiles, measurements, calculations, etc. She was amazing. She even showed us our grout options. We definitely walked out with a complete picture and tile to match. Parking: This is a huge stand alone store location. It is just amazing. Since it is a stand alone, it has it own massive lot with wide parking spaces. That is appreciated since they have flatbeds rollers for shopping. Floor: The options of tile are wall to wall (ceramic, porcelain, stone, marble, etc.). My suggestion is to come in with your measurements because these tiles go fast! Decor: To get a better idea of how to arrange your tile, there are design examples of life size restrooms when you walk in to the right! To answer the question of if I will be back! I spent 2 hours and still could catch up only half the store ! Prices are reasonable. (Though, I haven't tried on anything lately to note the condition of the fitting rooms. Bathroom is still pretty sketchy.) For the most part, the store has been more organized and tidier as well. We have been finding WAY TOO MANY GOOD DEALS. This is to the detriment of our bank account. Some recent deals: $60 Nikes (which retail for $180), carry-on luggage for $35, $40 A&M Adidas backpack ($88 retail tag), etc etc. I do occasionally feel that some of their prices are high on certain items. Like, $20 for under armor sweatpants is still high to me personally. Some other Nike shoes can be as high as $82. Nope. The service here is still lacking. At my most recent visit, I went to self check-out with 10 items and the large sign on the ceiling says the limit is 10. As I began ringing out my items, the unfriendly, gruff woman working the self checkout yells "THE LIMIT IS 10." To which we replied that we had 10. When she was checking our receipt, my daughter and I try some light conversation with her, to which her harshness continued. We both left the store talking about how we couldn't believe how rude and angry she was. I have to note that on other occasions, the staff weren't *AS* unfriendly as this lady was. My friend was absolutely skeptical about making any money on it, although it was a gorgeous house in a beautiful neighborhood. It was just too big for most people. In April 2021 he decided to try again since the sellers market was great. He wasn't very hopeful of making anything but it should at least sell, right? He lives in another city and I live close by so, naturally, I get the short end of the stick and I've got to get it ready for selling. In comes Keri... Now I had done research on staging and the cost effectiveness of it and thought, this seems like good odds. Intuitively I knew a "set" house would sell better than an empty house. People buy things with their eyes and not with forethought of what it could be. Keri came in the first day and, although it costs money, went through an exhaustive list of things that would ding you on getting more money. MAN it was a lot of work. I'm sure you could contract her to work on these things as well, but here I was trying to save money. (I wish I'd just paid her to take care of this list for me.) But I paid for the consultation - TOTALLY WORTH IT. I then spent a couple of weeks working on that list, again I bet she'd have done it WAY better and would have saved me hours upon hours - and I still didn't get it all done. Then the staging...wow! When I say I had doubts I was even asking her "Uhhh...but what if the staging isn't to the potential buyers' tastes?", which basically meant "what if you don't do a good job" but in a nice way. Just call me doubting Thomas and send me away. She did an AMAZING JOB staging. She was thorough, courteous, professional, efficient and definitely delivered on what she said she'd do. House had immediate offers way over asking price! And there's no doubt in my mind that it was because of her work. If you're wondering if you should do it - do it. She'll work with your budget and it's more than worth it.

Men's, Women's, Children, Home, Shoes, Jewellery, fragrances, travel bags, Cosmetics , are just some of the departments Few locations, like this one, also has Macy's Backstage. The Backstage especially sell off-price clothing and other items. There is a good chance to find Macy's exclusive products here. My personal fav is Calvin Klein, but there is 34th Street, Michael Kors, Channel, Doir, and just so many great brands. All my toys came from Macy's for this Christmas. I try to buy Macy's Exclusive as much as possible so it can be slightly unique. The dressing rooms are clean, conveniently located, big enough to try comfortably. These have big couches and sofa chairs outside, for those waiting. Recently, they have added a vending machine, a few tables and chairs at a small pantry-like area and these have charging ports too. This really adds points to Macy's for those cranky spouses who are dragged to accompany but cannot afford to miss all the time away from work, but still want to be supportive. Earlier, there was much more staff, I have noticed they have reduced over the years. That has not changed my opinion of my favourite store, its just something I have noticed. They probably need more counters which can cater to returns and online pick-up, especially during the holiday season. Anyday Macy's !
