Went there to go birthday shopping and was told that I could try on multiple outfits because I wasn't sure what their new sizing they said they weren't busy and to go ahead and go back there and start trying the clothes on and that she was gonna go get the the key to the big room so my cart would fit in there a woman named Ashley that decided to come back and tell me that I need to get it out of the fitting room and I need to remove all the clothing and get out of the store completely this is completely unprofessional and I would never recommend this store again unless that woman is fired. It was completely unnecessary and not to mention. They missed out on business. If I were you I would just drive an extra 5-10 minutes up the road to the better location with the better stuff anyway we were there for two hours and didn't even find anything because everything so ran through because all their employees do is walk around and don't fold their clothes and don't organize anything and none of them are on the same page. Never will be going back there again. Mind you all of this could have been avoided.. but she wouldn't even let my grandma finish talking. She wanted us to leave the store that bad. I don't know why. I am trying to hit my Target of 100 reviews of different Target stores by a Target date which is 2019. Currently on Track. Way down towards Galveston - pretty close to Cha Boba which is my favorite bubble tea shop in the whole world. I come down here on a regular basis and Barbie is a big fan of Target so we usually end up in here for one reason or another. I've got a couple of things here but I wasn't too thrilled with them. Starting this off by saying the employees at Target are always wonderful this isn't about them and it's not their fault. This is the worst Target I've ever been to. There's NO employees around they're extremely understaffed and I'm sure they go through hell with frustrated customers because they won't hire more help. I walked in one morning in a hurry I grab what I need I could have been in and out in 2 minutes turned into over 20 minutes because no workers were there, only two lanes were open on opposite sides of the store and the self-checkout WAS CLOSED! How insane is that? They don't answer their phone, the return/customer service area always takes forever. Yesterday I went in, I spent a lot of time shopping for clothes, and I had a lot of clothes I wanted to try on I walk to the other side of the store where they have their dressing room, and it's closed... I didn't buy one item of clothing because that's so frustrating. I've also turned around and decided not to buy something because the line was so long. Do better Target. read more

Came here for some items I needed yesterday afternoon 4/11. Quick in and out. They are sanitizing each and every carts. I see floor associates sanitizing commonly touched surfaces. The checker/cashier that assisted me cleaned the register and card pad before she rung up my purchases and used a hand sanitizer afterward; Five stars for that. However, I didn't check my receipt until this morning and noticed that I was charged with a Clorox cleaning supply that I did not purchase. Sure wish this Clorox came home with me! I tried to call but they are closed for Easter Sunday so I will have to wait Monday. Check out the receipt I uploaded. I know it's only 3 and some change but I just don't understand why she would ring me up with a disinfectant that's not even at the store.. and during this stressful time! read more

He didn't make me feel rushed, he helped me figure out why my iteams didn't ring up correctly, and he fixed the issue! More importantly we were laughing and having a good time! This Target is eeeempty. Looks and feels like a ghost town. But that's not a complaint. Shopping is made easy here. This Super Target has a bakery, extended meat/deli section, produce and pharmacy. And a Starbucks. The only downfall I experienced here was this: It was 8/12 when I came in the early evening to buy some last minute items for my abuelito's 83nd birthday. I spent a little over $100. By 10pm, I got an email from my bank flagging some recent charges. I had numerous transactions totaling out to almost 1K at another Target in Houston. My info was either hacked at the register OR at the ATM inside the Target which I used to pull out some birthday money. Same thing happened to my sis, but at a different Target. Target! Always end up here sometimes never. I come here a few times a year. Their prices are HIGH - has anyone else noticed that? I like to get inspired then go find the clothing item or home good item somewhere else or make it at home. If you need something in a pinch, they have a huge selection of clothes, shoes, jewelry and accessories, toys, home goods, cards, cleaning supplies, small grocery section, lawn garden chairs, sports, technology. I'm more of the online shopper type for my Christmas gifts, especially toys for kiddos, but I slept like the second coming of sleeping beauty and missed the guaranteed Christmas delivery deadlines. I found myself in a dilemma to buy toys for 15 kiddos, stat! After hitting up 3 stores and ready to wave the white flag I ended up at this Super Target. Finding a parking space was a breeze. I was taken aback by how freakin' huge this store is -- I had to take a minute to take it all in. The layout makes total sense and flows very well with all the kiddie stuff (clothes, shoes, toys, etc) on the same side within proximity to each other. The aisles in the toy section are a little cramped and can practically only fit single file shopping carts. This makes it a little hard to maneuver your way around but it's doable. The prices are very reasonable. Not as low as the competition but better than the specialty toy stores. Plus, you pay a bit of a premium to get adult goodies too in a one stop shop. The neatness, well organization, and friendly staff definitely put this super Target on my radar for another visit. read more

I really like Target, but I have to give them 3 stars. Pros: *Good Customer Service. *Good Quality Products. *Lanes are actually open (in the beginning). *Employees actually hop on lanes to minimize long lines. *Always make sure they make the "guests" happy. *Make you feel extremely comfortable shopping there. *Ask you about your day/conversate when at the registers. Cons: *On the expensive side (it's worth it). *New Self-Check Out lanes have made Target super lazy! *They don't have as many cashiers on lanes as they used to. This location did not have the Self-Check Out lanes at one point. I feel like it's their biggest flaw. Before they had them, they made sure there were no long lines. They would ALWAYS have other employees hop on lanes if the lines were long. Since having these machines, they have less cashiers working. I also haven't been seeing employees hop on registers like they used to. The lines are long like Walmart's. That's where the deducted stars come in. I will still shop at Target, just not as much as I used to. read more

If you have to shop, and frankly I don't like shopping at big stores, Target is a good option. There are plenty of checkout lanes so you don't have to wait. If they are out of a sale item you can ask for a rain check for when the item is back in stock. Returns are easy with no questions asked, and if you don't have a receipt they can scan the card you used for the purchase to pull up your history. read more

I had an appointment set for tomorrow @ 10am. At 1:49pm, I got a call from someone who did not identify themselves asking me to move my appointment up to 9:15am. After that, they proceeded to ask me my insurance information. As I'm at work and didn't have it readily available, they asked me for my SSN, while still not identifying themselves. After that, they proceeded to tell me the cost of my visit and then asked that I pay in cash due to the overhead being very low at Target so they could make more money. I then proceed to identify this person as Dr. Tran. I say this is kind of sketchy calling me to move my appointment, not telling me who you are, asking for my social, and then asking me to bring cash only to the appointment. She says that my voice is familiar and she's met me. I've never stepped foot into that Target, bless her heart. SKETCHY. BE CAREFUL. Also, Target, maybe employ an optical doctor who isn't doing illegal things over the phone? That'd be great. read more

f/u : yesterday, I took a chance and went to this store to test the "price-match" process at a "point-of-sale" (cashier-checker). In short, I was "successful" in obtaining the sought after "price matches"; although I did not feel like an appreciated customer. 1st : Price-match to the target.com price ... went smoothly. 2nd : Price match a local-grocery ad (loyalty-card price) was somewhat bumpy. _ The cashier seemed unsure, so my-cashier flicked a light-switch to request supervisor ... who never arrived. A neighboring cashier eventually came to intervene and eventually and reluctantly agreed to "price-match ONLY ONE " of the five(5) identical items (grocer-ad did not limit quantity). After I announced I would purchase just the one(1) price-matched item, that "helpful neighbor" grudgingly agreed to price-match the entire set of five(5) and stomped back to her lane. btw: I could find NO Target policy that would support that cashier's spot-decision to limit the price-match to a "single-item". ( is this another example of some folks passive-aggressive behaviors? ) note: From observation I notice that their POS software does offer the cashier full control over any "price changes". So, your experience will come down to the cashier's training, their willingness to follow store policy or if those folks want to demonstrate some micro-aggression. read more

I went in yesterday to exchange a pair of pants I bought in the wrong size for my son. They didn't question me as to why I was returning them & they applied the return to the purchase of the new pants & another item I purchased. There were a few people at the Customer Service desk, but the wait wasn't long & the associates were all very friendly. Good job Target! read more

This Target is clean, quiet, and well stocked. The grocery section usually has good variety, but to me the prices seem a little bit higher than stand-alone grocery stores. I shop the non-food sections fairly often. Usually there is plenty of parking. I have never had a very long wait in line at the registers. read more

I went to this location because it was on my way home. It was clean and parking was great but why do you have so many lanes and two checkers. It was around 4:30 or so and everyone was strolling up to the registers both lanes had at least 10 people in them. It took a good 15 to check out. Are you kidding me? read more

Everything in this target looks like an extremely sloppy boutique. Clothes, shoes, bags, etc are everywhere and no where they should be. To me, people shop at target for easy to access, consistent products. You don't come to target expecting to dig through bins like you would if you went to Goodwill. At first I thought "maybe this is just a mess because it's Sunday, end of the weekend.." But then I thought "it's 11am Sunday. It's early and this is literally everywhere not just one spot.. Which means it's not just a mess from the weekend crowd." Wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. read more

One of my most favorite Target stores because of the location, cleanliness and wonderful staff. The entire staff at the pharmacy is so incredibly nice and helpful; service with a smile! The implementation of self check-out is an added bonus to the store so you can get in a out in a flash. Don't forget to bring your reusable bags for a small discount. read more

When checking out we wrote a check and the cashier, Cherre, informed us after our total rang up that she needed us to remove or driver license from the wallet so she could hold it since they do not write down the information on the check. She said it was store policy. We have shopped here previously on multiple occasions, written checks and never had this issue before. We asked to speak to her manager and she pulled her 'lead on duty' over, who said they just need to make sure it is not a paper license. The lead said that this had been policy she she had been here for the last 2 years. Again, I disagree because this is the first time we were asked to do this when writing a check at any Target location. First - It was clearly visible in the wallet that is was not a paper silence. Secondly - it is acceptable to have a paper license in Texas when renewing the license, which defeats the argument that they need to "make sure it is not a paper license." Thirdly - the cashier pulled a lead over instead of the requested manager. Fourth - their (lead and cashier) attitude was rude during the transaction and we clearly explained that we will not be returning to the Target in Dickinson on FM 646 to shop, and I will share my dissatisfaction with those in my community. I am appalled by Target poor customer service behavior, especially in light their recent misstep by calling a grey dress "manatee" color for plus-size, by mistake. We will NOT be returning to the Target at this location and will deeply consider of shopping at Target for future purchases. read more

I found a adorable cake holder for 15 dollars at Target on Sunday its glass and it also doubles as a punch bowl! i of course had to stop in the baby section and i found the clearance rack which had items marked as low as 3 dollars on it. What a steal?! So naturally I picked up more than a few items for my baby I'm expecting lol like I always say she needs these things so why not buy them lol. read more

I actually used to work at this Target and I loved it. The employees are great and the prices are not that expensive. The layout of the store makes it easy to find whatever it is that you are looking for and if you happen to have a problem finding anything the employees are very helpful. The only issue I ever have at this Target is parking other than that the store is always clean and the aisle are tidy unlike Walmart where they are always stocking something and you have to make sure the aisle is clear so you don't run in to something on the floor. read more

Avoid the cashier Amy, she is rude and condescending. She also apparently can't read as I had a coupon for any downy product but she didn't want to take it because it wasn't the same item in the picture. I explained to her that the wording on a coupon is all that matters, she argued with me and I had to wait for her to call someone so that she could be informed of what I just told her. I understand some cashiers don't understand coupon policies but she continued to be rude and snotty to me. She also rolled her eyes and sighed and put in the coupon by hand or so I thought but when I got my receipt she hadn't even put it in (but she kept it) so I had to go to the service desk to get my coupon taken off. Even the service desk acted exasperated and like it was a major inconvenience to do their job. I will never shop at this Target again, the people are rude, I had to search for a basket that didn't have some sort of icky stuff on it, most of the store is dirty and the reason no one is in it is because the people are rude and the prices are more than the other Targets in the area. read more
