I've always hated Kohl's even though my mom (may she rest in peace) loved this place. I never saw the allure... literally don't know how they stay in business. Kohl's prices are high and despite having "sales", their prices are still too high. Glanced at bathing suits... Women's Nike swim suit bottoms: Reg $54, "on sale" for $38. Nearly $40 for JUST bottoms... no thank you. I got my daughter a full Nike swim suit at Ross for like $20. Kid's sweatpants: reg $22, on "sale" for $17. No thanks. The selection is vast, the store is huge but the quality seems low.. like the items will only last a few washings or something. My particular issue with this store happened today when I came in for a JanSport backpack. I saw it online on sale for $53.60 from $67. There was 1 left in stock. Since I was out and about, I stopped in and found it. Because they TOOK AWAY ALL THE CUSTOMER PRICE SCANNERS, I asked a worker to verify the sale price with her price scanner. It came up $67. I pulled up the online page to show her it was on sale and she says "Oh, that price is ONLY if you order online for pick up." So I go to the online pick up desk and ask the lady if they would price match it and allow me to buy it right then, NOPE. Store policy: they WON'T price match in-store their own online price. Then I asked if I purchased it for online pickup right then and it's already AT the pick-up desk, if I could then pick it up... (hey, less work for a worker since I already FOUND the product.) NOPE. It would have to go through some mystical process that could take awhile. Frustrated, I quickly looked at Target (same plaza) online and saw they had the same backpack available for $53 and I could get it right then and there so I told her I would go there instead. IS IT JUST ME OR IS LOWER ONLINE PRICING SEEM BACKWARDS?!? Like, buying stuff online results in workers having to go find items for you. Then, you're only buying those items VERSUS going into a store for the item and then seeing other items you want and buying MORE and spending MORE as a result. So sad I "gave up" $10 in Kohl's cash by buying my item at Target... wouldn't want to spend even more money in this place anyways. So this situation solidified my hatred of Kohl's even more. I honestly don't see myself stepping foot in one ever again. I'll spend our hard earned money anyplace else. read more

Horrible experience by an old white cashier, she discriminated me and my family when paying, she won't let you tap with your phone. She will want you to show her and actual debit card and id. And if you have a baby she will make you remove the baby just to see if you have something under the car seat before walking out and to all of this was just because I was paying over her limit '300' when in the same day different Kohl's I spends over 900 and only when to this location to finish shopping for the family trip. read more

I've been to this location several times. With each visit, the store is sure to have a display for the current season and/or holiday. They recently put out some Fall decor and Halloween stuff. I didn't see any costumes yet but it's still a little early for that. Right now there is an up to 70% off sale on a variety of summer clothes. Parents, I know we're still recovering from back to school but this is a great time to shop for next year. I saw shorts as low as $5.50! Most swimwear was on sale for 30% off as well. The forecast here in Texas is still in the 90's... so stock up!! read more

I haven't been to a KohI's in years, but stopped by this location since it's close to me. I bought a button down shirt from here earlier in the afternoon and got the shirt I was looking for. It was my size, soft and comfortable. I asked a lady named Maria O. for help and she was awesome and very accommodating. She definitely knows how to work with customers with genuine care and helpfulness. If I need help next time I come here, I will be sure to go to her first. read more

I've been a customer for years. But so disappointed. Ordered online at midnight for black friday. So I wouldn't have to shop in store. Only to arrive and pick up order. My item was canceled, and of course sold out in store. Previous online order pick ups were fine. They just should have said available in store only and not let you order online. Disappointed. Shopped elsewhere for item. Wireless earbuds but could not get same brand. Sharper image. Guess I won't place more online orders. Not a happy customer read more

Been to this location twice. I'm bias because I just love Kohls period, but the store was organized and they had three associates straightening racks when I came into make it a little easier to find items. Only gripe I'd point out is that one of the price checking machines was down ( no out of order sign) and I had to wander around to find another one. Luckily, Kohls places price checkers in pretty much the same departments in all of their stores (men's section towards the back; women's accessories), so I was able to find it a lot quicker. Secondly, the fitting room needs a place to put items that you don't want. If you look at the clearance rack nearest the fitting room, you'll see that most of the items do not have clearance tag... people don't see a rack just for put backs so the courteous customers just place them on a rack closest to the fitting room. So, if you're looking at those items, 90% of them probably are NOT on clearance and you'll have to wander around and find a pricing machine to know how much you'll really be paying! Overall, the store is clean and the fitting rooms were semi clear of clutter, but really impressed me is that an associate from the jewelry department beckoned me to check out without waiting. She was very sincere and had a great attitude because honestly she could have made herself busy and not check out anyone! Dont find too many people that go out their way to help people. I would definetly come back to this Kohls whenever I'm in the area. read more

This Kohl's has seriously lousy customer service. Clean store. Rude employee's who are not very helpful... I spoke with the District Manager Brad, and he had the store manager Carly call me yesterday, and we spoke. However, I don't know how serious they took their two employees Elizabeth and Maria racist, bullying and unprofessional ways. I will be writing a review on Facebook as well. I was also threatened by one of their employees over the phone. They sent me to another store location, and that store wasn't able to service me but they had excellent customer service and also find a store where I could find what I was looking for. I stopped shopping at this location all together. Every single time I shopped here the employees were incredibly rude. I had a cashier raise her voice at me in front of others in line for walking up to my mother, who she was checking out at the time. I have also heard similar stories about the customer service at this location from others. Every other Kohl's I have visited is the complete opposite, never had a problem. Not sure why the employees here feel like this behavior is okay. Sad. read more

Kohl's (at least this location) is probably the first store who had started protective procedures in 2020 for both their employees and customers such as providing face covering, hand sanitizer. This store keeps minors working past 11:30pm on school nights. When these kids ask to leave by 10pm the store manager says "everyone" works these hours. Do not let your teen work here. read more

Update: was contacted by the store manager about my previous review. She apologized multiple times and asked to hear me explain the story. After I did, she apologized again, thanked me for my time, and assured me that the employee would be spoken to about the incident and retrained. Horrible store. Store itself is fine, employees are rude. I was wearing Lauren Conrad shoes from another Kohl's and went to look for a pair in another color. Didn't find was I was looking for, so I left. As I was leaving, an employee stopped me and accused me of stealing the shoes I was wearing. I explained that I had bought them at a different store and was looking for another color. She said "oh, yeah, sure." Clearly not believing me, and walked off. Cashier held her hands up like she didn't want to get in the middle. No apology. If you think I stole, call security. I wish I had thought to show her the bottoms of my shoes, which are dirty from wear. I will never shop in this Kohls again. I am a long time customer, and my mother, who bought me the shoes, has been a Kohl's card member for 20 years. Teach your employees how to act and how to handle possible shoplifters. This Kohl's is pretty decent in my book. Great Location and some good finds. Great place to get some gifts, specifically Christmas gifts. Yesterday I got some kids Tin Games for $4.99. Also a good selection of men's gifts. The junior's department is pretty decent as well for a check out. read more

I went to this Kohl's today got my daughter a nice dress she has been eyeing for a long time when I reached the checkout the lady asked me for my id along with the Kohl's credit card I was using so I presented it (the card is on my husbands name we have the same last names like obviously and for 5 years I have been using this card) without any problems I am always checked out well and this time me n my two year old and 5 year old were there purchasing the dress and I was told I don't have authorization to use the card . I told them I was there on Friday like 3 days ago and I made a huge purchase no one asked for my id even tho I was using the Kohl's credit card so why are they giving me a problem now they said it's company policy I asked where was company policy on Friday ...I called my mum in law and she said where she lives in Katy they shopped last night and did not ask for their id even they have a Kohl's credit card ....as far as I see it is that the lady checking me out was racist she did not want to help me but wanted more trouble I think this store is lousy and the employees are rude I'm closing my credit card here and telling my whole family who has a card there about what happened too read more

I love this store!! This is where I do most of my shopping. I've gotten so many ridiculously cheap things here with all of the stackable coupons and already-great-priced items there are. And I love the Kohl's cash and new rewards incentives. It definitely keeps me coming back for more. read more

She still didn't Greet me and proceeded to Ask for the pick up number and as I was saying " the order number is" she cut me off and told me,with an attitude, "No I need the PICK UP number". Kohls customer service for online orders is horrible!! My mom did an online order in early December. We never received the package. I called to ask that they either send the merchandise or credit her card back. In 2 months, I've called 4 times and still don't have her refund or merchandise. Each person tells me the same thing, "A case will be created and we'll see what happened"...then I tell them I already have a case number, but they can't find anything and ask me to call back in 3 days to "check the status of my issue." A store I was shopping in didn't have what I needed. They called the store in Pearland TX and was told they had it. It's in our hands and will be waiting at the front for the customer. I drove 45 minutes and was told, we don't have it... SORRY! Sorry does not help me driving 45 minutes for something. This is not the first time that location has failed me. I loved this particular location up until 10 mins. ago. I simply asked the cashier to look up my credit card number using my Nevada drivers license. That's when the interrogation began, she started with did I open my card at that location, followed by how long have I had my card and the proceeded to call the store manager on duty, who said I could not have my information looked up. I told Jordan to have the store manager come see me. I gave more explanation than I should have regarding my working between two states, let her know I obtained my rewards card at this location, the only kohl's I shop at in Pearland/Houston. I told them both I've never had any issues shopping at Kohls until the two of them, when Jordan interrupted me with the whole "I've never waited on you, and I don't take Nevada drivers licenses." What makes it worse is that I could have been visiting on holiday and simply wanted to shop at one of my favorite stores. Needless to say the customer service was poor, I felt more than uncomfortable and I left planning to speak with the store manager the next day. I won't be back and if not for the great service I've received at other locations, I'd cancel my card. read more
