They also had dumbed down on the adult selections. Lots of children books. I have bought some books but the store managers need to do some drastic changes here. Forget about the book section, which hurts me, there were many, many discounted prices. The aisles were large, clean and well lit. The check out is a maze to get to the cashier but it was quick and friendly. Finally, the bathrooms were super clean!!

There's five locations around Houston and it's similar to Burlington or TJ Maxx (except much smaller). It's can be hit or miss, but I have been able to find some nice outfits at Backstage. The outlet is small, but they do have men, women, and children's clothing, home goods and decor, skincare products, and accessories like purses and jewelry. I've only ever purchased clothing, but the prices are very reasonable. They have registers in the Backstage area, however you do not have to check out there if you are wanting to shop in other departments.

We came in for some cards. Love that they're 2/$1. Selection wasn't the greatest but it was ok. Seems bigger than the shadow creek location. Workers were ok. Not overly friendly but not rude either. Lines took a bit longer than expected but apparently EVERYONE was buying graduation balloons. All in all, a decent Dollar Tree.

I've noticed that since the store has become Eco Thrift, the pricing has gotten completely unreasonable for me. I went in yesterday to browse around for knick knacks and purses and they had bags that were in such poor shape listed for $59.99 just because they were brand name. They had some scarves hanging up from the Dollar Tree for $5.99 when they are $1.25 brand new at the Dollar Tree. I realize not everyone knows that but I would hate to see someone purchase one only to see they could've had 4-5 for that price from the Dollar Tree. I think if you're able to catch some of the colors of the week (they have 25, 50 and 75% colors) you may walk out with something that is a reasonable price but otherwise I recommend you check out some of the other thrifts and save your time.

I came here to pick up items for a coat drive and needed gloves and socks. They had both in stock, which was great. Even though it's called Dollar Tree, nothing is actually a dollar anymore. The socks were $1.50 and the gloves were $1.50, so it seems like most items are that price now unless you shop the special aisle where things cost a bit more. Still, everything felt like a good value for what I needed. I did need a little help finding the gloves, and the cashier was friendly and pointed me in the right direction. The store wasn't too dirty, especially considering how busy it was. Overall, it was a good experience and I would definitely go back.
