Most of all though the staff is nothing short of great people! Sandra and Claudia (with a G!) have been warm and helpful people, and Sandra even handed me a 10 dollar off coupon while I made a big purchase, and I greatly appreciate her gesture and kindness! Definitely coming back for the next few years!

A clean environment can help you feel much more relaxed while browsing. Plus it's always fun to stroll around and see what they have to offer! I especially loved the variety of decorated rooms that are inspired by real people and families. The food is a major highlight. I had the Swedish meatballs, which are always a favorite and tasted great! I also enjoyed a tasty apple dessert. However, certain things made the trip a hassle: * Parking is crazy: Finding a spot was an absolute headache. * Broken item and return runaround: One of the products we bought was broken right out of the box. When we returned it, we ended up having to go to an off-site location just to resolve the issue and pick up the product. * Pricing: Some of the items feel overpriced for what they actually are. Will I be back? Most likely!

A Lifesaver After an IKEA Failure! Exceptional Service & Quality!…read more We were in a desperate situation. Our IKEA contractor artificially delayed the project, failed to install our countertops on time, and we had to cancel our prepaid agreement, leaving us without a kitchen sink for weeks. In a panic, we randomly found San Diego Stone Studio that same day. From the first call, they were a completely different class of service. The owner, Jean-Paul Mouret, is a true professional. He understood our urgency and started working on our project within 12 hours! Our beautiful countertops were fabricated and installed in just one week. The quality is excellent. Throughout the process, Jean-Paul and his team were invaluable, guiding us to select the perfect material and were always available to answer any questions. But they didn't stop there! After the countertops were in, they also helped us select the best tile for our backsplash and installed it quickly with the same top-tier quality. We are thrilled with the final result and cannot recommend San Diego Stone Studio highly enough. If you need countertops or tile work, look no further. They are reliable, skilled, and will treat your project like their own. Thank you, Jean-Paul and team! Phone: (619) 840-4464

I was looking forward to working with JP on replacing the countertops in both my condo and my new…read morehome. He came highly recommended by my agent, who had recieved the recommendation from his tile guy. I also thought I did my due diligence by reviewing his Yelp feedback. Before the countertop work began, we needed a plumber and asked JP if he had someone. He sent his plumber. The plumber did not speak English, and while he was there we used Google Translate to bring the issues to his attention directly... but it did not work. Unfortunately, the work was unacceptable. The bathroom sink leaked immediately due to improper connections, the sink was installed crooked, the showerhead rod was damaged during installation, a screw was broken into the wall, the wrong type of sealant was used, and the handlebar popped out with minimal pressure (he used the wrong screws, only screwed in 1 instead of 3 and broke one screw in the tile wall) creating a serious safety concern. My agent and I called JP to address the situation. Before I was even able to explain the issues, he immediately stated the plumber was "not his guy," despite having sent him. The conversation quickly became unprofessional, with him yelling AT US and he ultimately hung up on us.... all his without us even stating what the issue was leading me to believe he already knew HIS GUY screwed up. I had to hire another plumber to correct the mistakes, which cost me twice as much, all after already paying JP for a shitty job. I would be very wary of working with someone who is willing to speak to a paying customer that way before even hearing their concerns. Based on this experience, I will not be moving forward with them for my countertop installation.

Last year, I obtained an inspection of the deck and balcony at my family's 10 unit apartment complex in order to comply with Senate Bill 721. After learning that our cantilevered balcony needed structural work, I began calling engineering firms. I chose Reverence Engineering because I wanted to work with a smaller firm and I was impressed with my initial call with principal engineer Brett Sauers. During that conversation, he explained in simple terms how he would approach creating plans and seeking permits for a major retrofit of our balcony walkway. From there, I was kept well informed by email at every step of the way. Because I live out of state and was not able to be present for any site visits, Brett prepared an explanatory video for me so that I could see exactly what he was seeing and understand how we could solve the structural challenges. The draft plans were ready more quickly than I expected and Brett personally addressed all my questions with patience and precision. The City took longer than I had hoped to do its plan review, but Brett's staff sent me weekly updates. In addition, they walked me through all the forms that I needed to sign so it ended up being a pain-free process from start to finish. I really couldn't be happier with the attentiveness of Brett and his team, as well as the outcome. They deserve accolades for exceptional structural engineering work, at a very reasonable cost.

I have to give Brett the owner some credit here. He was very apologetic, we chatted via email, he said he had a few things to check on and would get back to me in a few days. Im going to assume that his interpretation of a few days is different from the status quo...It's been another month and he won't return my calls and still no follow up email.
