NORTH PARK NURSERY @ NORTH PARK…read more Parking is available on the street for free, and there's also neighborhood parking across the street, which I definitely recommend. I came to this event for Sip & Swap, where you bring your own plant and swap it with others. I loved the idea and had never been to North Park Nursery before, so I was excited to visit for the first time. The space itself is huge, with plants everywhere, from the left side to the back to the right side. They also have stickers, cards, and all sorts of plant-related items. All the plants looked really healthy, and there's a wide variety to choose from. The event even had drinks, like an agave drink, which was free. The vibe was great, and there's outdoor seating where you can relax and admire the plants. Prices range from about $20 to $70, depending on the type and size of the plant. I especially loved the section in the back called "plants that need extra love." These plants are 50% off, perfect if you want to rejuvenate a slightly struggling plant, and they even come with a vase, so you can care for it on your own schedule. They also have pet-friendly plants, which is great if you have dogs, cats, or other animals at home. Overall, I really loved this place. If you're a plant person, I would definitely stop by if you're in the North Park area.

I would definitely recommend this shopping here instead

Lots of variety for indoor and outdoor plants and all your gardening needs. The staff were super helpful and incredibly knowledgeable. I really appreciate that. There's so much to see, I'll have to go back when I have more time. I loved the pot selection from the smallest to the largest and the prices were reasonable too. You might see the shop cat resting or the doggo Enzo excitedly addressing the goats. Oh! Grab a bite onsite or perhaps grab some fresh flowers from the little flower boutique with some good gift giving ideas.

I had been before but it was a long time ago. I was pleasantly surprised to find how large this nursery is and how it's divided into sections based on the flora type. It's almost like a display of plants throughout the nursery as they are well integrated into the environment and various areas. Both the cacti and bonsai areas stood out. They have a nice but small selection of pots. The service through out the nursery was nice and friendly. Unfortunately checking out took forever since they only had one staff member at the register. All in all a good nursery that feels more like a botanical garden and a little less like a nursery.

It is evident that he loves what he does, and wants other people to love plants as well. Also, I felt very comfortable shopping there during this whole pandemic. The space is outside and Andy wore a mask the whole time.
