I was taking photos of the murals nearby and happened to see the owner David preparing his shop to open for the day. First of all David is very nice and kind. Secondly he has a nice selection of lush green plants. Which he is very passionate about. I asked him if I could take some photos of his store and he said yes, and even staged it for me to help with the background. If you are in need of a nice plant, stop in and talk to David.

The amazing plant selection and reasonable pricing at DNA Plants is matched only by the knowledge and friendliness of the owner! David is passionate about his plants and you can trust that every plant you buy has been well taken care of and disease free. Though the storefront is small, each square inch is well utilized and you will love the wide selection which includes some harder to find plant varieties. If you are a plant lover, then DNA Plants will become your favorite plant supplier!

There's so much to see, so bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and comfy shoes since the ground can be uneven. You'll encounter steps, slopes, and some dirt paths. The parking lot is small and fills up fast, so I like to get there early, especially if I'm doing a big plant haul. It can be tricky loading plants when you're parked far away. What doesn't this place have? There's an onsite bar and grill that's dog‑friendly, has live music, and serves brunch on weekends. There's also a cute boutique flower/gift shop with curated items perfect for any plant lover. They offer free local classes to help educate the community -- I've taken the shrub class, but they have tons of gardening‑related workshops. They have chickens, birds, turtles, and more. They care for and rescue animals, which is amazing. They sell compost, and they have every plant you can imagine, plus a large selection of seeds, pots, tools, beekeeping supplies, and canning equipment. I love that this is a neighborhood, locally owned nursery that truly gives back. They do so much to educate the community and promote sustainability. Please support them and get your next plant baby here. A perfect place for kids and pups!

The setting is beautiful and a joy to explore. And it's a great spot to check out for all of your gardening needs.

I came to this event for Sip & Swap, where you bring your own plant and swap it with others. I loved the idea and had never been to North Park Nursery before, so I was excited to visit for the first time. The space itself is huge, with plants everywhere, from the left side to the back to the right side. They also have stickers, cards, and all sorts of plant-related items. All the plants looked really healthy, and there's a wide variety to choose from. The event even had drinks, like an agave drink, which was free. The vibe was great, and there's outdoor seating where you can relax and admire the plants. Prices range from about $20 to $70, depending on the type and size of the plant. I especially loved the section in the back called "plants that need extra love." These plants are 50% off, perfect if you want to rejuvenate a slightly struggling plant, and they even come with a vase, so you can care for it on your own schedule. They also have pet-friendly plants, which is great if you have dogs, cats, or other animals at home. Overall, I really loved this place. If you're a plant person, I would definitely stop by if you're in the North Park area.

Mishele is incredibly talented, and what really sets her apart is how well she listens and translates your vision into something even better than you pictured. On top of everything, her work is an incredible value for the cost. The quality, creativity, and overall impact of the florals far exceeded our expectations and felt worth every penny.
