    Cute inside!

What acute little store! They have a whole wall of hilarious and adorable cards, little candles, handbags ,handmade pottery, cute earrings and necklaces! If you need a gift for that eclectic person in your life, stop by Homage! We visited on the Melting Pot Old Pasadena food walking tour while waiting for food to be done and I am so glad that we visited! With the Eaton fire sizzling down they have turned the back of the shop into a shop for those in need of basics and clothing. I really appreciated this and made sure to buy something here to support their efforts. If you want a store that supports the community, you have found it!

I trust my first impressions, and Homage is a great example. Walked by late on a Friday night, and noticed it was closed but it looked very cool, a place that I needed to visit. Well, we did the next day, and I'm so glad we did. Jill and Todd could not have been nicer to my much better half and I, friendly, helpful, and fun! They have a great selection of items within their wonderful Old Pasadena space, and it resonated with us a great deal. Bought a yellow-colored pen that was much-needed on this trip, and Todd was funny and kind! Followed them on IG and will stay engaged because it's a good vibe, and Jill has awesome taste.

Great spot to find beautiful and unique gifts and always love exploring the jewelry and cool art pieces! Staff is super helpful!

Like the other 1 star reviews, I felt uncomfortable shopping. I can feel the stares on my back and not only because I'm last minute shopping for Christmas (it's Christmas eve). I felt like everything I picked up an employee went to that station thereafter to check. I had intentions of buying one item. While waiting for a response from a friend to make sure it was a good selection, I browsed around. I felt as if browsing was a sign of theft in this store. I appreciate the check ins, not every customer wants to be bombarded while shopping. At one point while looking and smelling the smelling jars, a bald male employee comes to me and takes my belongings asking if I would like a newly wrapped bag and says we'll have these at the register for you as if I had held them any longer I would've taken them. I didn't realize I took a display bag since the employee prior let me know "what we have out is all we have" and I might've confused that. He mentioned he would get me a newly wrapped baggu. I just don't appreciate the looks some of the other elderly employees at the register gave and I knew I wasn't overthinking their behavior since when one of their coworkers walked away they began making faces and whispering to each other. It's just a very weird ambiance and experience. I've never felt this way before and hope you guys draw back from further making other customers feel the same way.

What a cute store! It was really busy when I went in, but the associates still made time to greet me. They had some super cool coffee table books which were beautiful.

Adorable little gift shop that recently reopened at the bookend of the Shops on Holly in Old Pasadena. Popped in for the first time a couple weeks ago in search of an anniversary gift. Homage offers books, unique cards, vintage glass sets, candles, homemade jewelry and so much more. Prepare to spend some time looking it all over. The staff went above and beyond to tend to me. I really felt they were invested in my shopping experience. I regret not asking their names. A sweet woman practically walked me around the entire store asking about preferences and offering numerous gift suggestions. Once I settled on a few items to purchase another staff member was extremely diligent with wrapping each of my items beautifully. Thank you for taking an interest in my search. Me saying I'm impressed doesn't cut it. Next time I need a gift, Homage is where I'm heading to first.

It's a 100% fair trade shop which made me love it even more. I purchased a beautiful purple wind chime and a cute greeting card for my husband. There was a mishap on the card (another card was stuck behind it - same exact card but I didn't need 2, just 1)! The cashier and I both didn't notice when I was inside the shop. She wrapped up my wind chime and bagged the card (now discovered to be two). When I got home, I phoned them right away when I saw the other card was stuck to it! I explained what happened and asked to pay for the mishap! Gigi was extremely helpful in figuring out how I could do so and thanked me for my honesty. I'm just glad we could sort it out! So just be aware if you pick up a greeting card to check another card isn't stuck to it! The pricing of items: very fair! presentation of the overall store: very good! customer service: great! I definitely suggest stopping by here.

Check out was a breeze with the clerk on duty. I will definitely come again.

When I asked about it I was told it was basically a mixtures of fragrances from the candles, perfumes and other scented products. Regardless, it smelled very luxurious. And luxury abounded! Everything here is very well made and really says "understated wealth." They have a nice collection of children's toys and gifts, home wares, an enormous collection of candles and fragrances (as already mentioned), jewelry and a large collection of cards. As a…read moreconstruction and design professional, I had to source materials and design several bathrooms -- selecting tile, coordinating ground colors, finishes, and all the necessary materials. Oscar truly went above and beyond. He was patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. He took the time to help me choose everything I needed and made sure the materials coordinated perfectly. His customer service and attention to detail made a big difference. We did experience a hiccup with one of the cashiers, which caused a significant inconvenience. However, Seaan stepped in immediately, handled the situation professionally, and provided the appropriate credits. He took care of business exactly the way a strong manager should -- fair, solution-oriented, and respectful. Because of how they handled everything, I will absolutely continue giving them our business. Great customer service and true professionalism go a long way. Highly recommend this team!

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced…read more Before I paid, the salesperson specifically warned me that tiles from different production batches would have different colors. Because of that, I made it crystal clear that I wanted ALL of my tiles from the SAME batch. I was promised that would not be a problem. After my contractor finished installing and cleaning the floor, we immediately noticed an obvious color difference across the floor. At first glance it may not be obvious, but once you see it, you can't unsee it. A brand-new floor should NEVER look like this. I checked every box myself and discovered that about two-thirds of my order was Batch 1M21, while the rest was Batch 1M35. The store literally mixed two different batches together after promising they wouldn't. The most outrageous part? The correct batch (1M35) is NOT out of stock. They still have more than 140 pieces available. They simply gave me the wrong batch. When I went back to the store expecting them to fix THEIR mistake, the manager refused to take any responsibility. Instead, he told me I had to: * Buy replacement tiles again with only a 20% discount * Pay the transfer fee * Pay the shipping costs * Pay any other related expenses * Contact corporate myself Are you serious? If you truly believe your store did nothing wrong, why offer me a 20% discount in the first place? That tells me you know a mistake was made--you just don't want to take responsibility for it. I paid for matching tiles because your employee promised matching tiles. Your store mixed the batches, not me. Yet somehow I'm expected to pay thousands more to fix YOUR mistake? That is beyond unacceptable. Now I'm left with a brand-new floor that has visible color variation throughout my home because of the store's negligence. Replacing it would mean tearing out a newly installed floor, buying new materials, and paying labor all over again--simply because the store failed to provide what they promised. I would never recommend buying tile from this store. If they make a mistake, don't expect them to stand behind their product or take responsibility. Save yourself the stress, time, and money, and shop somewhere else.
