I researched a lot of flower shops and decided to go with the Flowerman for my mom's birthday flowers. Ordering over the phone was very easy. I told him how much I wanted to spend, when I'd like to pick up by, and requested a bouquet that inclined my mom's favorite flowers - lavender. They require immediate payment so I paid for it over the phone. This is a beautiful shop! It smelled SO nice right when I entered the shop. As they were getting my order together, I walked around and looked at the different creations. Even bouquets that are behind glass doors are beautiful to take home on this spot. When my order came out, the first thing I noticed was that there was no lavender. I asked the shop associate "where is the lavender?" She went back and checked my order and said she'll put some in right away, she also added additional roses to the bouquet, which really brightened it up and made it feel vibrant. I appreciated that they quickly made adjustments to the bouquet. The final bouquet was beautiful. I'm very happy with the overall look and feel of the flowers. I definitely recommend them to others, I will likely use them again for my own needs. Thank you!

I discovered that I gave the incorrect address early Monday eve. (After the shop was closed.) The chat feature saved the day. I was able to alert them of my error. They came through with flying colors!!! The gift was delivered to my niece that evening, even tho she was in a completely different city. Top quality service, top notch presentation. You can't go wrong when you use The Flowerman.

I was so embarrassed since my friend just found out that she has breast cancer. Talk about a faux-au- pau. Chrysanthemums are given at funerals!!!. There wasn't even one rose in the bouquet and your place is called The House of Roses! If that isn't a travesty. the way I look at it you are stealing! The bouquet you made and sent wasn't even worth $15 and I paid $71! shame on you! If all these recent reviews are true and not friends or relatives then you have turned to crime by stealing from hard working people who want to just share a little joy to their friends. But on the drive across town, I remembered that said host was married to a Pakistani. Not knowing if he was an observant Muslim or not, I decided that maybe we should swap out the gift, swing by a local florist, and bring a nice arrangement of flowers. The first place we saw on the way was Casa de Rosas. While Lizzie waited in the car, I popped in to Casa de Rosas and said, "We're on our way to meet a colleague for lunch and I wanted to bring some flowers. Could you put together something nice?" The florist got to work, picking out some beautiful orchids. Solid beginning, I thought. Then she kept going, and going, and going. Soon she had one or two examples of almost every type of flower in the cooler. At this point, she asked, "Am I missing any colors?" Aesthetics is, by definition, a matter of taste. But I think it is pretty widely accepted that the term "floral arrangement" indicates some process of inclusion and exclusion. Or maybe I just don't get Casa's "maximalist" approach to bouquets. Anyway, the resultant bouquet was, to my mind, a little gaudy. Don't get me wrong, the florist was very nice and approachable. And if I had a clue about how to arrange flowers myself, I suppose I would have intervened at some point to offer suggestions. But mainly I just stood there thinking to myself, "She's not really going to keep going, is she?" (She is.) Short: excellent service, but curious approach to the floral art. Oh, and it turned out that our hosts drank and the Riesling would have been a fine gift.

This is a cute boutique store directly across from the main entrance to Pasadena City College. It has a beautiful view of the campus. When I entered the store I was greeted by a friendly hello by a gentleman by the name of Ruben. I asked about his store and what they had to offer: flowers and gifts. He showed me around the store, proud of the selection of items available. He explained how they're able to do everything you might need for every occasion - or make any day a special occasion. Candy, specialty items, personalized gifts, bouquets, individual flowers, boutonnieres, corsages, centerpieces, wedding floral arrangements, your selections make your event unique. They make your decisions easier by giving you alternatives. I enjoyed my visit, but most of all I enjoyed becoming aware of a business that is so indicative of Pasadena. A place where the people are concerned about helping their neighbors, friends, and clients succeed with their goals. The heart of Pasadena Butterflies are the people that are behind the counter. I look forward to utilizing their services in the near future. I not only recommend this place, I hope that you stop in just to say hello and look around.

5 stars -- A Truly Heartfelt Experience at Pasadena Butterfly…read more I had the most beautiful and memorable experience at Pasadena Butterfly last week, and I'm so grateful to Cindy and Ruben, the amazing husband-and-wife team who run this flower shop with such love and care. It was my very first time making a bouquet -- something I've never done before -- and they didn't just sell me flowers, they taught me how to arrange them thoughtfully and beautifully. Cindy and Ruben were incredibly patient and kind throughout the whole process. They guided me step-by-step, shared tips on balancing colors and textures, and even made sure my final bouquet had that extra special touch. You can really feel how much they care, not just about flowers, but about the people who walk through their doors. Whether you're buying a bouquet or learning how to make one from scratch, this place is more than just a flower shop -- it's a hidden gem filled with warmth, creativity, and heart. Thank you again, Cindy and Ruben, for making my first bouquet-making experience unforgettable. I'll definitely be back.
