Had a great time here! Decided to pop by for their Music Bingo night on Thursdays and the service…read morewas good. Great little spot to grab a bite or come play! I had the Chicken Poblano Tacos off their HH menu. They were pretty good, and not dry or lacking flavor. I'd def get them again. They had a decent HH menu although it doesn't have many options and it seemed a little confusing as to what was actually on HH or not from a drinks perspective

We've been regulars here for a long time, and I'm surprised I never took the time to write a…read morereview. This is easily one of our favorite places in Allen. We've tried a wide variety of items on the menu over the years, and everything has been consistently fresh, flavorful, and high quality. Whether we're stopping in for a quick bite or staying to watch a game, the food never disappoints. The beer selection is outstanding, with an impressive variety of draft and bottled options ranging from crisp lagers and wheat beers to IPAs, porters, and stouts. Fun tip - if you order a German beer, it's served in a traditional 0.5-liter glass, which adds to the experience. The atmosphere is exactly what you're looking for in a neighborhood sports bar. There are TVs everywhere, plenty of seating, and a lively but comfortable vibe that's perfect for catching a game with friends or family. They also host a variety of events throughout the year, making every visit a little different. One of my favorite nights is Pint Night, where you receive a complimentary pint glass featuring the selected beer with your purchase. It's a great promotion and just another reason we keep coming back. If you're looking for great food, an incredible beer selection, and a welcoming atmosphere, this place is hard to beat. It's our go-to spot in Allen, and I highly recommend it.

My husband asked me out for lunch today! Any time he does that I know that he found a good place…read morefor us to try. Today we went to the Derbyshire Pub. He's British and wanted to find some really good Fish and Chips. I had high hopes, especially since this was a "Pub". Pub's over in England have the BEST food! He ordered Fish and Chips and I ordered a Patty Melt. The waitress brought us out drinks (waters) and we waited. And waited. And still waited. There was a couple at the table next to us and they were waiting also. FINALLY the Fish and Chips arrived, it was SO exciting! Well, I should say it was just the Fish and Chips that arrived. The lady at the table next to us had ordered the Fish and Chips also. The gentleman next to us had to wait for his food just a little bit longer, and when it came I saw that it was a hamburger. I was the only one now who was still waiting on their meal. At this point I was thinking of just canceling my order because it was taking so long, but then it finally appeared. I looked at the chips and thought to myself, "what are these?" They did not resemble the Chips that we were accustomed to having. I was hoping for thick slices of potato, like Steak Fries or Cottage Fries. These resembled thick slices of potato chips and they really weren't thick at all. My husband continued to eat his meal. I looked at his meal and thought "why is that one piece of fish over on the left side of his plate/tray?" It looked overcooked. Really overcooked. He didn't look very pleased. Come to find out, it wasn't just over-cooked, it was also dry. And it was a very small portion. Please note: he ordered the larger portion, not the half portion. But it was really small. We both continued to eat our meals and then asked for the bill, paid and then left. As usual, we always discuss the new places we visit on the way home. We both agreed this time. We had high hopes. But the Fish and Chips were not as authentic some reviewers have mentioned. So we most likely won't be back. Which is too bad, because it is a really cute place and we really wanted to like it. On to the next. Hopefully some day we will find some really good Fish and Chips.
