Came here a couple days back, the lady inside was nice and recommended me the bacon lovers. Overall it was pretty tasty I was just expecting a bit more for $20. Love the concept but I think it's a little overpriced.

I have never had perogies in my life and my friend recommended this place and I must say I was blown away. Before I even get to the food the interior of this place is so cool I spent a couple minutes admiring that before I actually looked at their menu. Going back to perogies they got so many options (I think over 12) I tried Mexican corn and jerk chicken. If u r a person who needs some kick to ure food jerk chicken is the one to get. Ever since I had these I think I have fallen for perogies and can't wait to go try a different flavour soon.

Enjoyed the Mediterranean Eggplant (periogies topped with roasted eggplant, sundried tomatoes, spiced crispy chickpeas, lemon tahini sauce and green onion). Thoroughly enjoyed this hearty dish. The topping definitely added another flavour dimension. Plenty of seating. Would recommend a visit!

A gem in Etobicoke for an incredible foodie experience! Traditionally Eastern European perogies elevated with toppings and pre-created "holy creations" to satisfy even the most demanding foodie looking for something new and different. 10 pre-creations ranging from smoked pulled pork to Mediterranean eggplant perogies take your taste buds to a journey with each bite, with layers of tastes and textures elevating it to the next level. Casual bistro style setting, family and kid friendly. Dishes cost $11.99 to $13.99 for the pre-creations, or create your own starting at $8.99. Definitely a five-star experience.

    options galore!!

was invited to a media tasting at this lovely little spot in Etobicoke - not too far from Sherway Gardens. took me some time to find it as it's tucked away in a little plaza but super close to Costco so I found my way. walked in and instantly thought this place was super cute, clean and serving up tons of Perogy options! i was lucky enough to try a bunch of vegan& vegetarian options! if I'm honest at first, i wasn't sure if i'd like all the different variations/additions to the traditional Perogies i'm used to! buttttt...one after the other, the dishes came and out and with each one i was so surprised at how smart the ingredients were together! my fave hands down was the Mexican Street Corn. Perogies topped with chilli grilled corn, avocado lime sauce, chipotle honey drizzle, goat cheese & green onions = a few other faves: spicy jerk and coconut curry. grand opening is: Saturday, July 20th at 11am. We were told you'll get to sample and have a chance to buy one get one! also, there are a ton of non veggie / vegan options which were a hit with the rest of the crew. PS the location is so clean, super Instagram friendly and cute and the service is quick and helpful. looking forward to going back soon with my family!

The big wall that greets you inside! Loved the quirky decor, everything is clean and open.

I had a really good first experience here and wanted to leave a review so I was surprised at the star rating! I found this place from seeing a sign on the street and visited it on a whim. The place is tucked away a bit and Google maps might take you to the wrong side of the building like it did for me - just keep looking! Upon walking in the place is bright, with funky branding and furniture. Lots of bright light, impeccably clean (including the washrooms), very open, with lots of seating. I really liked the look. There were 3 people behind the counter, one of which I believe was the owner, and she walked me through the menu and gave me some recommendations. I had the onion perogies with truffle mushroom sauce? DELICIOUS. Great filling portion and it really hit the spot. I also got a side of the chicken bites (I can't remember the actual name) with a side of their "holy aioli" which were pretty good! Anyways I had a great experience and would definitely get food from here again! I can't wait to try their other perogy combinations!

Colourful and welcoming decor, good service, and delicious perogies! The owner/manager also came by to chat with me and offered a sample of the chicken bites. Overall, a good experience!

Out group tried the Biscuits and gravy, shrimp Benny and brisket Benny as well as fried green tomato, kids apple johnny cakes and grilled cheese. The portions are generous. The chicken with the biscuits and gravy were 2 pieces of brined dark meat chicken served on a biscuit and collards smothered in pork gravy. Chicken was very juicy and super crunchy, collard needed some acidity, biscuit was light but a little overdone and gravy was not as fat a decadent than in the south, lighter but still tasty, wish they poured it a little more generously. The fried green tomato was outstanding as the accompany silly aioli situation was great. Kids apple jonnycakes were a hit and loved the hot chocolate with mini marshmallows for the kiddos. Gtilled cheese was a hit - got the pull and the bread was well toasted. The home fries were a bit of a let down. Although very cool and layered, they seemed very greasy, maybe oil or flattop wasn't hot enough? Benny's were both good, shrimp cake was well cooked and crisp and brisket was flavourful and moist. A couple Saturdays ago, I was running a few errands. Once I was done, I felt like visiting a diner for lunch. I did a search and found Poached Dreams Diner in Aurora. I didn't mind driving up from Markham to check it out. It was straightforward getting here. I parked in the parking lot and walked in from what looked like the back of the diner. There's also a front door with a patio that faces Wellington Street East. I was immediately greeted by a young, enthusiast woman. I let her know that I needed a table for one. She got me to a comfortable booth by the window. The catch is that you have to watch your step to get to your seat. It's a treat when I have breakfast out. I thought that I'd be getting french toast. Well, all that changed when I saw a heading for comfort foods on the menu. Nothing makes me happier than seeing open-faced sandwiches on a menu. It was probably during my days living in Winnipeg that I fell in love with such sandwiches and at least a side. New goal: come here and have every open-faced sandwich on the menu. I got cold water to start. It was refreshing and much needed after running errands. I ordered these items for my meal: - Diet Coke (2) - Hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and veggies My Diet Coke came with a glass with ice. I loved it. I wish the can was larger! I needed a second can for dessert. I loved my hot turkey sandwich. There was a generous amount of sliced turkey smothered in sauce over a slice of white bread. I got to choose my starch. I went with mashed potatoes. There was enough gravy over the turkey that I dunked my spoonfuls of mashed potatoes into it. I loved the steamed veggies. They were perfectly cooked. They also went into the gravy. The meal was delicious. I'd order it again. I felt like dessert. I asked if there was any. Baklava with pistachios. I said yes. I thought that it would be a square or rectangle. Nope. I got a roll. Cool! It was perfect. It had the right amount of honey. It was crispy and yummy. So good! I paid my bill at the table. I tipped and then tapped my credit card. I elected to have the receipt texted to my phone, which also signed me up for its points program. Yay! I learned that this diner has been open since June 2025. I'm always late to any party because I seem to live under a rock or in a cave. I'm glad that I visited this eatery. Great food. Great service. Great! I used the washroom before I left. The women's washroom was clean and had a full-length mirror. This eatery is huge. It looks like there's a cafe for those grabbing coffee and maybe a snack before leaving. I look forward to returning for more good eats and drinks. (148)

The restaurant is bare bones, but has a nice bench seating that spans the length of the seating area, a garage door opening to the street, and a small bar area near the kitchen. There is local art on one side of the wall and graffiti style decor on the opposite wall and washroom (which you can pickup one of the provided pens and tagged it yourself). The cajun fries are soft potato wedges coated in chili flakes and paprika. It comes with what looks like the burger sauce as dip and is tangy and finger licking good. Eating at Heartbreak is a messy affair. The portions are great for the price, the chicken is hot and fresh, piled high with coleslaw and sweet pickles on a brioche bun. The owner seems to be the soul (pin intended) cook, served us, did cash, and took care of the guests. Overall, the chicken was crispy, lots of meat, will be back to try their mac and cheese. The ambiance of the diner reminded me of my go to college bar in my college days in New York. We tried 4 appetizers to share and sticky toffee pudding as the dessert. We started off with the oysters, which was paired with a ginger vinaigrette. The ginger vinaigrette and lemon added the perfect elevated touch to the oysters. The oysters were not too briney. The vinaigrette that came with the salmon Crudo was delicious. If they sold it by the bottle, I would purchase it. Then we got the carrots with cardamom labneh and dukkah spices. The dish sound so simple but taking complex spices like cardamom and dukkah truly elevated the flavour of the carrot. The eggplant came with white bean and stracciatella dip with a side of sourdough. I wished sourdough was a bit more toasted however, the dish itself was very well executed. However, I was pretty disappointed at the sticky toffee pudding. Where is the toffee sauce? (Gordon Ramsey voice) The vanilla Chantilly cream was nice and light, the pistachios were also a great touch, however, the cake itself had too much flaky salt in it. The cake was nice and moist though. Comparing to the other dishes the execution was not the best. Will I come back? Yes hundred percent. This is definitely a repeat restaurant.
