The shopping center has the Crumbl, Outback and Mattress Warehouse. Inside there are 2 ordering kiosks. They also have a digital board on the wall showing the orders they are working on, as well as your Crumbl status (bronze, silver, gold, etc.). It was busy the day I went in and the staff was busy filling orders and making cookies. I got a Key Lime Pie cookie for my friend as a little birthday treat. I also had a voucher for a free mini chocolate chip cookie, which was so cute and yummy. They have little individual sized boxes for the mini cookies. Big tip: Get the free app. You earn crumbs for free stuff over time. You get a free cookie on your birthday. And you can vote on special flavors for the 3rd Wednesday of the month - yesterday it was a Wedding Cake cookie. It's not on the menu, you have to use the app and know to ask for it. You can see any special flavors in the app on the actual location. Also, as your status increases, you can vote more often. Individual big cookies are $4.59 each or 3 mini cookies for $8.99. They have other combinations also. You can also order ahead in the app. Staff was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back!

A friend of mine told me about this place a while back, but I never thought it would really be…read moreworth a hour and a half drive just for donuts. I thought, "it's a food truck... I'll just wait for them to come to me." Well... I finally caved and got tired of waiting. First off, I'm not a morning person... so the whole "donuts and coffee" at 8am isn't my thing. I was not too thrilled about having to wake up at 6am just to be able to get to try the flavors I wanted before they were all sold out. (FYI: You can order ahead online, but that option can sell out fast too) Also, I'll take a bad yeast donut over a good cake donut any day. Those extravagant Voodoo doughnuts over at Universal are no match for a plain old Krispy Kreme donut straight off the conveyer belt in my humble opinion. This food truck is all cake donuts, so I was a bit skeptical. I'm happy to say, these donuts are insanely good. There were 22 flavors available, and we ordered them all. The most popular, "frosted crack" and "maple bacon", were definitely 2 of my favorites. Simple flavors, yet so delicious. The "French Toast" and the "Cookie Butter" were also high up on my list of must-tries. Even something as conventional as the "chocolate with sprinkles" was friggin amazing. I'm pretty sure it all had to do with the fact that none of these felt like the typical cake donut you would find at Dunkin Donuts. They were way more light and airy than usual. It was almost a mix between a yeast donut and a cake donut, and they were tremendous. It also might have to do with the fact that they were all just freshly made. That also makes a huge difference. What I like about this place is that they don't go overboard with toppings. They just let the flavors do the talking. They don't just throw crushed-up snickers bars, skittles, and whole Oreos on top for the hell of it. They keep it more traditional, and I like that. Makes them way easier to eat as well. The people in the truck themselves are very friendly. The guy that helped us seemed really proud of his product, as he should be. They even have complimentary Starbucks coffee for people as they waited. With a long line at 8 in the morning, it was very much appreciated. Overall, this small and unassuming food truck in the middle of a dirt lot in Mt. Dora ended up having some of the best donuts I've ever tried. Tons of flavors, yet a simplistic theme runs through all of them... flavor. Every bite feels like it's worth the carbs, and I love that. They look great, and taste even better. My only negative about this place is that it's not closer... but that's just me being selfish.

We were both very happy with our chocolate waffle cones when we came back the next day. We were of course enamored with Twistee Treat when driving by and discovering the building/ shack looks like an ice cream cone or cupcake! We later discovered that this was not the only location in Florida either. This location was really busy when we visited, which was on a weekend, in the middle of the day. Any time we have passed by here, there were customers. They even have a drive thru window! There are several tables and seats available to sit and enjoy your treats outside. We decided to use the walk up option and browse the menu. Since it was super hot out, we predicted our ice cream was going to melt fast. I do not get to indulge in sweets because of my T1D but my go to is always a soft serve twist, with vanilla and chocolate with rainbow sprinkles. We were greeted quickly and offered to order. All the staff were moving quickly and we received our treats quickly. There is no shade so we decided to walk in the parking lot, where there was shade and enjoy our ice cream. It definitely hit the spot and we enjoyed it. I definitely was full and could not finish my whole cone so I shared with hubs, even though he had his own ice cream. I have heard some of the locations have temporarily closed, including this location, for health code violations. It seems like this location resolved their issues and reopened quickly, so that is good news.
