This is the Dunkin on the square at Brownwood in The Villages. The service is consistent, as is the food. I have been here when they've run out of product, but they do their best to offer a substitution. We like to go up to this location on our golf cart and sit out and listen to the nightly music or take a break during the Saturday morning Hometown market. I recommend using the Dunkin app and ordering ahead, as this location can have a line almost out the door at times. It can be much quicker to order ahead on the app and just walk in and pick up your order. There is plenty of seating inside and outside, as well as around the square. Also, they pretty regularly offer a $6 meal deal. It rotates on what is offered in the deal, but this really is a good deal, as most sandwiches are over $5 by themselves. The current deal is a bacon, egg and cheese on your choice of bread, hash browns and a medium hot or iced coffee. It's a good deal if you're hungry. I paid over $8 for coffee and donuts and had to throw everything in the trash. The older woman at the counter rubbed her nose and then put 2 donuts in a bag without using a tissue. Then she took 2 cups with her finger inside and made the coffee. Don't they train the help on sanitation?!?!? She should never be around food! read more

They took my order in the drive thru and there was a misunderstanding, but Alexis went above and beyond to correct my order and just went that extra mile in general even though they were close to closing and short staffed. No managers on duty. The shift lead was a young girl which she was very nice & helpful but obviously no one was listening because it was like a middle school home room when the teacher left the room. She did call the "General " manager on the phone to take my complaint. But now I see when it is ran so poorly . I have waited to make this review to just be certain it's not a full flaw. But this Dunkin is the slowest, least accurate with your order, always out of product Dunkin' ever. I constantly am told to wait at the Drive thru even with mobile ordering. The layout and location is poor planning. The staff in the morning, the one guy is never kind and always rude. They're so slow, isn't the motto America runs on Dunkin? I think this location walks with a cane on Dunkin'. My order is usually 50% wrong, and when confronted they cop an attitude. I've never received a correct order from this location; today was the last straw, the gentleman looked my items over, confirmed with me what I ordered and still handed me the wrong items. I would rate 0 stars if I could. They took well over 25 minutes to make three drinks because they never even started them 15 minutes after we made the order. The only reason they started the drinks is because my girlfriend had to go in and tell them to make them and when she did the same exact girl who took our order claimed we had never ordered drinks in the first place. Dunkin Donuts on Wedgewood Lane in The Villages, FL is a pig sty. How they stay open is a mystery to me. Apparently the Sumter County Health Dept. hasn't paid them a visit in awhile. I'm certain that the men's room hasn't been cleaned in years. It is beyond dirty, it is filthy beyond belief. Every trash can in the customer areas, inside and outside was overflowing. This location has the worst customer service we've experienced on 10 vacations throughout 3 states on the southeast. And it starts with the manager. She was clearly angry at one of her workers. And she should be because they were lowsy. But be angry in the office, not in front of customers. Not a single smile from anyone, and the manager didn't even look at us even though she took our payment. Time for new management. Unlike other reviewers, our service was quick, but we went inside because the drive thru was too long. Lastly the food is lame. The donuts are ok. The hot breakfast sandwiches are lowsy, spongy and tasteless, plus no dairy free choices. Worst was the coffee - they put the sugar and cream in the coffee and made it WAY too sweet. I can't believe that they would even let a drink be served like this! This is completely unacceptable. First it's my own fault for not leaving drive thru and going in to have them remake it. It's suppose to be an iced matcha latte with almond milk and what they gave me was the laziest way possible that they made it and should not have made it that way due to it had almond milk. This is suppose to have ice and then hand stirred with powdered matcha and almond milk not put in the IOS machine with ice cubes and blended. And it was the manager or shift lead that was handing these out the window learn or tech your employees how to make drinks correctly and not mess up your machine using almond milk in a machine that your frozen drinks get made from and hopefully you clean it correctly that you don't have a customer that has a nut allergy. read more

This is the worst Dunkin I have ever been to in my life. The customer service is just terrible. The employees have bad attitudes especially the manager Rachel. I waited for my order at the side door for 25 minutes and when I went inside to ask why it was taking so long the girl with the red shirt and long nails and bad attitude threw the bag and drink over the counter at me, created a mess spilling all over me. It's a slow store, not sure if it's the know how or they just don't care. Today I went in there and the employees were yelling loudly behind the line the Spanish word for "balls". Maybe they didn't think anyone understood what they are saying but Totally inappropriate. They are lucky I give the store 1 star. Another time I went in the guy was standing making me a coffee and he reached behind him and itched his but right in plain view while he was making my coffee! So gross. I have no idea why this location cannot figure out how to serve customers. There are three people working. Line at the drive thru and inside is at least 10 deep. Whoever does the schedule at this place needs to look at the demand and staff according. The lights to the drive thru menu and exterior building lights are never on. I totally disagree with the negative reviews on this Dunkin Donuts. I have been a customer there since they opened and have found their service to be good. At some point, there were too many customers going into the store which caused delays in service without adding more clerks (the average is 3. But, as other places opened their clientele diminished. Also, there was a period of time 5 years ago when there was NO manager in the late afternoon and evening and the service was poor for a year. My wife had a big order for a work function and tried to call in 2 hours before she needed it and was put on hold for 32 minutes before they hung up! Called back and waited another 15 minutes before they answered and put her on hold again.... This is just ridiculous... Her order cost enough that it could have paid an employee to be there just to answer calls and fulfill orders for the peak time in the morning. Stopped in around 7:00pm for a couple of sundaes and was sorely disappointed. While browsing the ice cream selection, I was informed by an employee that none of labels match the ice cream. It's not rocket science people! Then I placed/paid for my order of 2 hot fudge sundaes one with chocolate ice cream and one with cookie dough ice cream. I waited 5 minutes before the attempt was made to make the sundaes. Young lady asked again, what ice cream would I like...chocolate. Was then informed that they didn't have any. Ok went with a substitute, then informed that there was no hot fudge...Really!? You couldn't inform me when I placed my order of a hot fudge sundae with chocolate ice cream that you had no hot fudge or chocolate ice cream. SMH I suggested an alternate flavor ice cream and chocolate syrup, in hindsight I should have asked for a refund and cut my losses.
