The vanilla chai and my wife's coffee were both great but the food was awful. Absolutely abysmal. They asked us if we wanted it heated up and that meant they throw it into a MICROWAVE. The cheese on my pretzel sub was like lava and practically completely melted out and stuck on the box, the bun was rubbery and stiff and hard to chew. How do you not have a proper toaster oven to heat up food instead of a microwave? It's unfortunate because my wife and I would like to come here and play chess and eat breakfast, but we'll just have to find another place. read more

Oooh their coffee was so good , rich and strong. Much more reasonably priced than that other place that tastes like burned coffee to me. I love just plain black coffee and this one was divine. Foxtail Coffee is located in the Magnolia Plaza shopping area. It's inviting, cute but not cutesy gag cute. Ican picture myself hanging out there for coffee. I was craving a Pumpkin Spice Latte today and thought I'd give Foxtail a try. Most of the other coffee places have Pumpkin Spice also, but they tend to taste artificial (hello Starbucks - I'm looking at you). Anyway - I read that Foxtail uses real pumpkin puree in their pumpkin spice latte and cinnamon. I ordered a large, hot Pumpkin Spice Latte and I have to say - this was the BEST one I've ever had. Seriously. It tasted very pumpkiny (is that a word?) and NOT artificial at all. I could clearly taste the pumpkin and the cinnamon. I also got it just the way they usually prepare it - and that was sufficiently sweet for me. Not too sweet - just enough. I don't like super sweet drinks, and this was just right. My only criticism was that for a large latte it was $7.20 without tip. That felt expensive, but everything is these days. I'm guessing that would be close to $7 at Starbucks, so not that far off, but at least this one tasted authentic. I may have to go back to try their Apple Chai fall drink. read more

Foxtail? Meh...more like skunk-tail. I wish this review was sweet and fluffy, but it's rather salty and stinky. The three baristas behind the counter were unwelcoming, unprofessional & they entered my order wrong. Not only that, when my drink was finally ready, I decided to taste my Coconut Vanilla Spiced Chai Iced Tea Shaker before leaving the store and boy...I'm so glad I did...it was STILL wrong. I told the gal it was not what I ordered and with that...no apology...just a snarky "Well, what did you order?" and then some whispers amongst themselves on the headset. SMH. To top it all off...this place adds in an 18% tip at checkout that you aren't really made aware of unless you pay attention. My average, at best, 20 ounce beverage...and y'all know I'm a Chai snob...was all in $9.58. On a side note, kudos to Corporate, they refunded my order & gave me two free drinks on them. Last Christmas, I purchased $100 worth of gift cards for the sole purpose of getting a $20 bonus. Since then, I visited several times to spend down my cards. It seems, each time, I find another reason to stop patronizing this place. One reason is the prices. A shake runs $8 for a desert you can finish in 5 slurps. If you order a specialty coffee, extras will tax your budget. Today, I ordered an iced coffee advertised on a front chalk board. Nope... they were all out. When I mentioned to the Barista that it seems they were always out of items, she said "I know." Now that my gift cards are exhausted, my shadow won't be cast in the door of this poorly-run establishment. read more

10/31/2023 Nice, new spacious coffee, tea, and sweet shop at Magnolia plaza. Thank goodness they are close by. They offer fresh cold brew and hot brew coffees including flavored lattes. Their roast is flavorful, not bitter, so much better than Starbucks. Staff is very friendly and patient as we took a while to peruse their menu. As we had a complicated, multi-drink order, the young gentleman who assisted us this morning was very careful to ensure our order was correct, repeating it before cashing out and hand labeling the drinks accordingly. I noticed they also carry donuts, muffins, scones, cakes and sweet breads, cake pops. Next time we'll try some of their baked items and sit down in the cafe to enjoy our coffee, breakfast and the space. This for sure will be our go-to coffee shop going forward. read more

A fairly new coffee shop for the area, the concept is nice, a few to many hobby lobby tchotchkes added in, but that's just me. I had a Cubano coffee, it had good coffee flavor, a little too sweet for me. The pastry section is very very limited, but the chocolate croissant was light and flavorful. I would probably visit and recommend more often if they had more food options. read more

Good coffee shop. Huge. Saw a growler of cold brew, looked good, for $20. Had a taste before buying, it wasn't for me. The cold brew had earthy tastes which I'm not crazy about. The coconut cold brew added more 'rich and smooth' to the cold brew. But it was too sweet for me. A large cold brew for $7 seemed a bit much for what it is. Baristas couldn't be happier to help. My only major complaint is that is is very cold inside. They keep the thermostat at 68°. I am sitting here today and observed two different groups of people decide to sit outside remarking how cold it was inside. It may be me of course but I like a coffee shop to feel more comfortable, and not have to keep my jacket on while I'm trying to enjoy my beverage. The inside is really really pretty and there's a cool vibe to it. The Baristas are nice, polite and accommodating. I will say that there are times when the drinks seem a little bit bitter and coffee heavy but that could just be me since I tend to like things a little bit sweeter. I suppose I could ask for an extra shot of the flavored syrup next time. If they would just raise the thermostat to around 70° that would make this place a five-star fabulous location imho. read more

Why 1 star? Im so disappointed. I was excited to have a coffee place close to us as an alternative to that other large coffee place. Unfortunately their coffee was terrible. I found it to be weak and bitter. I could tell after adding my cream that something was off. I like light cream no sugar so I can enjoy the coffee but there was no improving this coffee. Service was good. I got my order quickly. I included a picture of the inside. It's very nice and welcoming. I'll try it again in the future and hope they improve. read more

Overall foxtail is great for coffee! I love their coconut milk and never had a bad coffee! However I am giving 3 stars because they shouldn't even be offering matcha considering it's a matcha flavored syrup! They built their brand and reputation on offering better quality coffee than the competitors, why give up at the teas! Charging $6 for a matcha that doesn't even have actual tea in it. There is a smaller coffee shop right across the street that offers even better more consistent products that I will chose first for now on. read more

Stopped in on our way during a road trip. Walked in and both employees were sitting at the stools in the corner of the cafe. We asked for a cappuccino with a light pump of vanilla sweetener. We got a super sweet drink made instead. We inquired about the amount of sweetener and the employee with black and turquoise hair seemed frustrated and while remaking the drink had bad body language, talking under her breath and tossed the empty milk carton into the sink next to her - obviously frustrated that she misheard our initial request.
