Cute little boutique just north of Route 44 on 301. They focus on locally sourced products and have a large variety. They have one room that focuses on children's toys and clothing. The main room had a nice selection of gift, bath and food items - i.e. beachy décor, jellies, hot sauce, shower steamers and lotions, t-shirts, hats, etc. Really wide range. They have about 25 local vendors that provide products. In the back - there is a small café/ice cream shop. The ice cream is from a local creamery and starting August 1, 2024 - they're offering signature grilled cheese sandwiches. The descriptions sounded delicious. They also have picnic tables out back to enjoy the treats. I snapped a photo of upcoming events for the next month or so (see below). The owner was very friendly and highly knowledgeable about all the products. I ended up buying a small assortment of items - eucalyptus peppermint shower steamers (smell divine), a small decorative item and orange marmalade (which was so good on my toast this morning). Overall - really cute shop. While I feel most of the prices are fair, given it's supporting small, local vendors, I did feel some items were too expensive. They've only been open since June, so I'm sure they're still figuring some of that out. I'll definitely be back to try the food and ice cream or check out one of their upcoming events (see photo for upcoming ones).

When I heard The Humble Native makes a mean grilled cheese sandwich, I had to find out for myself. Today I can emphatically agree! It's a shop and a small cafe. The little shop of products are all made by Florida natives, hence the name, and was so cute (see pics). But what I expected to be a single grilled cheese option at the cafe was in fact a whole menu of grilled cheese options (see pic of menu). I asked what most popular order is... Florida Roadkill, so naturally as a foodie I ordered that. WOW!! It was amazing how the orange marmalade really works to make the taste just an incredibly delicious combination. The small side of tomato soup was a perfect accompaniment. I also purchased a small key lime pie for my husband, and it came directly from Key West; very well packaged at that. I came for the food, but enjoyed browsing knick-knacks as I waited for my order. I will be stopping by more regularly to try ALL the cheese sandwiches on the menu.

It was a cold day and we were looking forward to some Colombian cuisine which was new to us. The place was easy to overlook as the signage didn't really stand out. And more construction is ongoing along Hwy 301 further obscuring visibility into this location. In any case, this is not a "sit down" restaurant as we had to place our order before sitting down. We previously checked out the menu online so we pretty much knew what we wanted to order. I ordered the Paisa Bowl ($17) and my wife tried their Steak and Papas bowl ($20). We also ordered French fries ($3.50) and a can of Coke Zero ($2.50). I thought service was a tad slow (there were maybe 5 tables occupied including us) but we were served our lunch soon enough. Our first impressions were good presentation but the portions were meager. The fried pork belly pieces were nice and crunchy but there weren't enough of them. The ground beef had good flavors and I liked the fried egg over the rice and beans. My wife liked the flavor of the beef, although a bit fatty for her taste, but found the potatoes a bit dry and wished they were French fries instead. Speaking of French fries, it was served with this savory dipping sauce but again, the serving portion was miserly. My wife thought the guacamole was nice and fresh, making it the best part of her meal. All in all, we came away liking the flavors but thinking the value and portions were lacking. Service was a bit detached as well. Lunch for 2 with tip came out to just over $51.
