This visit was such a dream, there are so much whimsical decorations here in all directions. They did the full place up. There is no reservations for this so there was a little wait. Maybe 30 minutes at the longest but it sure got busy after we were seated. The menu is part of their restaurant already and what we had was tasty. It was a shareable pulled pork app. Everything was lovely and everyone around was so friendly. The one thing that was an issue was the A/C. They had wall units but possibly everytime the door opened the heat came in so it was a bit warm inside. This was such a fun experience nonetheless. People even dressed up for this. I felt casual when in the one usually dressed up. It's going on through end of August and then their theme will change to Halloween.

After checking out the menu the server eventually asked us what we wanted. The wife chose a tea concoction from a stand alone menu they had propped up on the counter, as if to advertise special or seasonal configurations. She was told they did not have one of the two tea blends (then take it off the menu!). She ended up ordering a different offering from the main menu and I ordered a large latte. The food/pastry window was weak, so we did not order anything from there. Maybe they got wiped out before we arrived around 2pm, but I kind of doubt it. We took a seat in the dining area and when our drinks were brought over I was a little disappointed in the size of my "large" coffee, as in most places it would have been deemed a medium. Oh well, it was tasty I'll give him that. Overall we agreed we won't return here, as we saw during our tourist walk a couple of other coffee shop options. Yep, it could've been better.

There is something satisfying about starting the morning in a place that feels local and intentional rather than corporate, and this shop fit that mood perfectly. The barista was still finishing the morning setup when I arrived, but once everything was in place she made a fantastic cortado for me. Strong, balanced, and served with care, it was exactly the kind of drink that settles you into the day. I ended up spending about two hours here, enjoying the coffee and their reliable wifi while easing into my morning before heading out to explore downtown Eustis. The shop itself is clean and comfortable, with enough warmth in the atmosphere to make it easy to linger. I did not understand the decision to keep the front door propped open, especially with the cold air and the steady hum of road noise drifting in, but every shop has its quirks. To each their own. Even with that oddity, it was a pleasant and productive stop, and a good way to begin the day in Eustis. [Review 1621 of 2025 - 2198 in Florida - 25169 overall]
