Love this coffeehouse! I researched local coffee shops when I was leaving nearby Renninger's Antique & Flea Market and came across this gem. Foxtail Coffee is housed in charming historic Mount Dora. Be prepared to walk as it isn't a pull up and park situation, but I assure you it was worth the extra steps. And the walk isn't painful because the surroundings are delightful. I visited around 1PM on a Saturday afternoon (2 days after Christmas) and they appeared to be winding down from a busy morning but still jamming. The space is large and very open with high ceilings. The merch is laid out very well. I love the brick wall and industrial vibe. The two gals behind the counter were working very hard. Not only were they taking care of customers, but they were keeping their workspace extremely tidy. I ordered a regular size cold brew with pumpkin spice flavored cold foam and cinnamon dusted on top. The regular is a generous size so it was perfect. My coffee was delicious and the cold foam was more airy than I've had elsewhere yet quite enjoyable. I will absolutely return to this coffeehouse when I visit again and likely try one of their breakfast sandwiches too. Foxtail Coffee looks like a great space for a date, to work remotely, or write your next review. Finally, the young gal who took care of me (shorter hair of the two young ladies) was so pleasant and knowledgeable.

A Foxtail is a Foxtail is a Foxtail. This one, however, in Downtown Mount Dora is quite nice. Aesthetically, these coffee shops are lovely. The coffee here is good - though I still think the one in Sanford brews a MUCH better café con leche. Their holiday brews are also a treat - I have been enjoying the Banana Gingerbread Latte lately. The staff here are very polite and Foxtail does have a rewards program where you can earn a free drink. There are several spots in this area where you can grab a cuppa. Foxtail just so happens to be one of the better ones.

A cute little place, lots of drinks and food options. The establishment is clean and cute ambiance. Parking can be hard.

Delicious and quaint. Friendly and courteous service. Coconut cloud latte and pistachio Carmel iced. Love the interior- quiet place to enjoy coffee or work on your laptop.

The service is efficient, even when there's only one person working. The PSL is very pumpkiny and the pumpkin muffin was moist and delicious. They're great at accommodating small groups without getting too loud. They do lack consistency in drinks.

Downtown Mount Dora is possibly the cutest little down in Florida, and Foxtail adds to the charm! It's exactly what you're looking for in a cozy local coffee shop. Delicious coffee with several food options. Little souvenirs for sale. Super cozy and chill!

Finally able to stop by and try foxtail coffee. I would say it definitely has a hype around the brand, which was somewhat accurate. I ordered an iced matcha latte which was pretty good, extremely sweet even after asking for no sweetener. For a small size it was over $6 so it's definitely on the pricier side. The location I stopped at seemed to have a very small menu unless they all have limited menus. The staff were friendly inside and helpful with making a recommendation.

Popped into Foxtail as our first stop in Mount Dora before doing some shopping. Very clean and comfortable coffee shop - my mom and I love to seek out matchas in new cities so that's what we ordered. She got hot and I got Iced. They have tonsssss of different syrups/flavors which is cool. I ordered the Dirty Matcha which is Espresso as well as the Matcha and I got a cold foam on top. It was really good! We stopped at a little shop afterwards and the woman working inside told me next time i'm there to order the Cinnamon Honey cold foam? I think that's what she said anyway, lol. Girl at the counter was super sweet and even gave us some good recommendations for the area. Hint: If you are traveling to Mount Dora, keep in mind that a good amount of things are closed on Mondays as they consider that day a weekend for them. Best days to go would be Thursday-Sunday.

Loved this shop! Coffee was great. The area is also very nice to walk around. The park across the street was nice to enjoy our coffees.

I ran the mount Dora 5 k today and after the race I walked inside there to get a drink! The line was long, there was only two barristers working. However they did an awesome job to divide and conquer and got my drink fairly quickly! I do not drink coffee but I got an chai latte with 2% milk and lavender favor! It was so good! Yummy

Came to visit My Dora with my gf and came upon this addition to coffee scene. Now that Starbucks is essentially that McDonald's type chain for coffee there is a vacuum for other better coffee shops to sprout. Enter Foxtail. They are slated to take over Americas joe consumers. The place is clean and well appointed with extras to buy. They feel more like a hometown cafe like Starbucks started out. The staff was super nice and helpful and they recognized us when we returned for some ice water which they gave us with a smile. Hope they do well but not corporate to the point of mass produced.

It's such a cute spot, with an impressive selection of baked goods at very reasonable prices. This time, I ordered the chocolate strawberry latte, and we shared a red velvet scone along with one of their unique "Nobody Asked For This" chocolate chip cookies made with roasted garlic. The latte was delicious and piping hot--perfect for a chilly day. My first bite of the garlic chocolate chip cookie had me thinking, "No," but it quickly grew on me, and I ended up really enjoying the unexpected combination of flavors. The red velvet scone was huge (perfect for sharing) and absolutely amazing, loaded with chocolate chips. Between the drinks and treats I've tried over multiple visits, Allyson A's Bake Shop has yet to disappoint. It's a must-stop whenever I'm in Mount Dora.

When I asked for jam and clotted cream, I was told they were not available. They offered to heat it in the microwave for me, and at first, I said I'll eat it as is. I was soon back to ask them to heat it, which did help with the texture and taste. My friend had a chocolate raspberry bar, and another tried a cupcake. We were all disappointed in our choices. I had promised my husband something from the bakery when I got home, but decided to pass and went home empty-handed.

The restaurant was not too busy when we got there. Our friends were already seated and waiting for us. There had ordered water for the table and had their coffees. Joshua appeared shortly after we exchanged pleasantries with our group. He checked in and we ordered coffee as well. He returned with the coffee and took all our orders. Two of our friends frequent the cafe weekly so he already knew what they wanted. The rest of us were able to order. We received our food in a reasonable time. Joshua and Kim checked in periodically to make sure we didn't need anything and kept the coffee flowing. I had the Pot Roast Omelette with Home Fries and a Biscuit. It was ok. Everyone else enjoyed their food. I would recommend the cafe adding fresh fruits to the menu. By the time we got ready to leave, there was a line of people waiting to be seated. We had to sidled out the door. The cafe is quaint and popular with the locals of Mount Dora. I am open to returning and trying something else on the menu.
