This location is so bad, the drinks are never consistent in taste and the drive thru is almost always super slow

As a conscientious consumer, I don't spend my money at Starbucks anymore because I'm not a fan of how they treat their employees. However, I received a gift card over the holidays so I used it recently at this location and found a) the staff are very friendly and quick to serve and b) my Caramel Brulee Latte was pretty good. In recent news, Starbucks plans to close 400 locations. Given my positive experience here recently, I certainly hope this location thrives for years to come. read more

Came in to study and drink a fall coffee. Barista made it seem like I was doing him a disservice by ordering. Tried a new drink , which was supposed to have 5 pumps of sweetened syrups , and it tasted so so bitter :( On top of that my drink was filled a whole inch from the top. As a barista I understand being busy but I was the only person who ordered for 10 minutes... and then to pay almost $8 for a coffee and it's not filled, is just a little disappointing . read more

This is my favorite Starbucks!! The manager is absolutely a hoot, but also extremely knowledgeable as well. The baristas/cashiers are kind, funny and an absolute joy to work with. For example I ordered my drink today (10/18) and asked if they could do it and the cashier said, "we will chai". Bahahaha. Big DISAPPOINTMENT. I have loved Starbucks for years, and since getting dogs, I have added a pup cup to my orders. The last two times the staff looked suspiciously in my car for a dog. I explained the dog I am getting the pup cup for is at home, and even showed them the dog seats in my car. The last time the staff even said to me "you can tell us if it is for you". Starbucks claims the pup cups are "complimentary". I would be happy to pay, but please don't judge me and indirectly accuse me of lying. So off to Fox Tails coffee shop I go where I can enjoy getting my coffee. I always add a tip, but I just couldn't this last time out of principle. read more

A typical Starbucks with two exceptions: (1) it has a drive-thru and (2) it has some accessibility issues if you are traveling US 441/Orange Blossom Trail southbound. When traveling on US 441 South during peak traffic periods peak, I suggest turning left at 44 before the Starbucks and then right into the Publix shopping center. Otherwise, good luck turning left across US 441 without the left turn light. Coming out of Starbucks, returning to US 441 South is also an issue. If you exit on US 441, you must go North and u-turn at the light at Donnelly or exit on 44 and u-turn at the second turn into the Lowe's shopping center. The first u-turn on 44 is a posted no u-turn. Exiting on US 441 and getting over into the left-hand/u-turn lane by the light may be difficult depending on traffic and fellow driver curtesy. Use the exit by ABC not by CVS to improve your chances of getting to the left turn lane on US 441 North for the u-turn. My order was produced promptly. I did not use the mobile app for which I am thankful. Starbucks had four drinks pre-made for two separate mobile orders when I entered (two hot coffee and two berry hibiscus) that were still waiting when I left. All I could think was "that coffee is getting cold"; I prefer piping hot and would likely have had to have it remade if it was mine. Hence, I ordered when I got there. It's no mystery that Starbucks is by far my favorite stop for coffee and other selections that are spontaneously dictated by my cravings for great coffee. I have visited literally hundreds of Starbucks' location since they've come into existence and although they all seem to be pretty consistence with the quality of the products they offer; the service, quality of the product, wait-time, cleanliness and accessibility of the location are the five points I will rate all of them on going forward - so to make the point I've recently incorporated a rating system based on this short list to calculate the rating of the locations I visit. I feel all these criterions are controllable by the corporation, the franchise owner or store manager. Looking for a holiday gift for my children and they we're extremely helpful and cheerful helping me pick it out. The young lady that help was leaving to go home or break. However I did not realize until I was waiting on my order. Nice to see someone nice, I believe they called her Sabrina has she walked out the door. I've come here more times than I could count on my fingers and toes and they're always consistent. If you come early enough you'll meet Gordon. He's sure to make your morning every time. As most chains, the quality of the food doesn't change from chain to chain. The real kicker in that specific chain is the customer service and the environment and cleanliness of the business. Even after the Eustis Starbucks opened, I still prefer to go to this one simply because the customer service that I receive is impeccable. They are usually busy so it's no surprise that you'll have to wait, but the wait isn't too long and daunting. The drinks, themselves, are top-notch, but it also does depend on who's making it and how generous they are. The only real complaint that I have about this place is that the parking is very sparse. Usually, there are more people going to Chipotle next door so they take up most of the parking spots, which force you to park even farther away than necessary. Another option, though, is the drive-thru, although this seems to be the slower option of the two. This is also a nice place to do work, but if noise and music bothers you too much, you can sit outside or put in headphones. Overall, this is a good location to go to, and why waste the extra mile to go to another Starbucks when this one is the OG? read more

I ordered trough the mobile app. When I went to pick It up the guy at the window didn't understand my order three times. When I got to the window he was really rude and shoved my drinks at me. They were both wrong. I parked the car and went inside and got major attitude from the girl making drinks when I asked to have mine remade. I don't know why I bother with Starbucks. Quiet, spacious, and comfortable location. I ordered on the app while sitting in the parking lot; and, picked up my order as soon as I got seated inside. A networking group was meeting at the large table, so I moved to a stool at the window counter; and, enjoyed the view outside. I needed a few more sprinkles on my latte macchiato and the barista allowed me to add those. Great service, terrific coffee; and, a nice location to boot. I used to go to this Starbucks by default until they opened the newer one down the road in Eustis. I had no major complaints with this one (though others really have!). They are fairly fast in my experience and polite, but I dislike the location. That intersection is horrible to get in and around, especially by bicycle, my main mode of transport, and the bike rack is right next to a table and therefore sometimes unavailable. Not a huge deal, but like I say, just enough to send me to the branch further down 441. read more

Too cold in here. Like probably high 50's. First time I went there I thought it was am anomaly, maybe an AC malfunction. Tried again a few weeks later, same low temps. Way too cold to sit inside for more than half an hour or so. I don't know if this is some sort of corporate strategy to encourage people to buy more coffee to stay warm in here, but until they raise the temperature in this joint, I will not be returning. read more

I walked in and someone did welcome me immediately (very kind man), waited at the register for about 5min no one took the time to come up to me to take my order (I get it there's a drive thru & they have many drinks to make but I should also be a priority especially since there was no one in front of me). There were 5 employees & 3 of them passed me not one of them said "I'll be right with you" the one that was actually busy doing something finally realized that I had been waiting for a while and came up to me & took my order. I got my drink and waited for my second drink for at least 10min.. I asked the kind man that welcomed me if I was rung up for that second drink & he checked for me & told the guy making the drinks to rush my drink but it still took him at least 5 more min to bring it to me and when he finally did he didn't even bother saying "sorry about that" or even make eye contact with me, he put it on the side & not directly in front of me which I thought was extremely rude. Me being me I still said thank you but no one responded or told me to have a great day. I work in a similar atmosphere where our mission is to "make every guest day better" & I do my best to do that. We are trained to always thank and invite guests back. My expectations must be way too high for lake county. I go to Starbucks almost everyday (not here in lake county) but have never received this type of treatment. You would think that because they also work for tips that they would be kinder to their customers.. guess they just don't care. I went in between 2:00pm- 2:20 on 4/21.. Stopped in here after leaving church. I would want to write a negative review when they forgot to make 1 more drink in my order, but I was in no rush and they were really sincere in getting my drink out in a quick and efficient manner, as well as apologizing and compensating me with a free drink for my troubles. How can you possibly mess up on a simple drink? I was driving to Leesburg and decided to stop by Starbucks to order a Venti iced hazelnut latte. As soon as the lady at the drive thru window handed me my drink, I thought "holy cow!" The color of my latte was WAYYY off. Anyway, I did not want to hold up the line behind me so I drove off. Very disappointing. I am usually very patient. However today there was only 3 cars ahead of me. It took me ten minutes to get to order and another five minutes to get my drink. I would've left, however I was trapped in the drive thru. The staff knew they had gone slow because they left me hanging there at the speaker for a good five minutes before they asked if someone had helped me. I told them no. They apologized. However, any other time I have been in a Starbucks drive thru for even as much as five minutes, they have given me my order for free and a gift card for future purchase as an apology. I wasn't offered anything to make it right... Not even perhaps a croissant or a pastry.... Nothing! This is not the Starbucks speed or quality I'm used to, because I've never had an issue at Starbucks. Since the new one opened in Eustis, I now frequent that one since it's closer to home, but I used to come to this location weekly. The baristas are friendly, my order was never wrong. It is a very busy location. The only complaint I have is the super busy intersection where it sits. If you're trying to go to Apopka or Orlando from this location it is really difficult depending on the time of day, to leave the 441 exit to get left to make the uturn, also the donnelly exit you also have to make a uturn to go back to the light. Sometimes the traffic is a bit much. read more

Great new Starbucks. My drinks are always good. The staff is the best and very hardworking. The wifi (google-Starbucks) is the best. Starbucks is switching all their locations to Google-Starbucks wifi from AT&T wifi. The only thing that keeps this from being a five star location is that they keep it SO COLD inside. (The employees do not have the ability or authority to warm up the interior). I have to wear a jacket inside that Starbucks. read more

I ordered the vanilla cream cold brew this morning, and just received iced coffee with cream!!! Good grief this was at 10AM and it was myself and another fellow ordering inside. I also ordered the Spinach Feta Wrap breakfast sandwich. It did not turn out like the pictures or even what I had at other Starbucks. The whole wheat wrap was toasted okay, but the egg white was over done on the ends and the middle was so mushy it seemed as though it was not cooked through. I had to open up the wrap to be sure there was feta even included. If I had to measure the feta I would say there was about 1/8 of a teaspoon. To top it off, the gentleman who ordered before me had to ask again for his drink....they forgot all about it! Not an auspicious Monday for this Starbucks's crew this morning. read more

My supervisor and I meet here for a work meeting. I'm not a super fan of Starbucks in general, but this one was awful. All of the tables were dirty and there was a pile of trash that sat untouched for at least the 2+ hours we were there.
