So even after waiting a long time I can say they redeemed themselves! Food is always delicious!

I tried the Rueben w/ grilled vegetables. Do not recommend the Reuben at all. Could barely taste the 1000 island dressing and the cheese was scarce too. The corned beef was cut thick and tasted like it was fried. Not tender or flavorful at all. The bread crust had a burnt flavor which was a downer. The grilled veggies were ok - had some good flavor going on but needed to be grilled a little longer - some zucchini was kind of hard. I sat at bar and service was ok - had to wait for napkin and fork after the food arrived. read more

This place is constantly packed so make sure you have a reservation or get take out. I have had their pizza and some of their sandwiches before. The pizza is hit and miss, some are neat and creative and some are just weird not terribly appetizing. That said, their salmon BLT is one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. A bit pricey for a sandwich but they give you a ton of fries. Very good beer selection and cool cocktails. read more

I hate to leave bad reviews, but there either good or bad right? I have to say it was horrible from our appetizers that were cheese fries and sliders to our meals. The Mac and cheese lobster was gross! I don't know what they use in the cheese that they serve. The steak sandwich and the custom burger were so dry! It's was a total of $88 dollars without tip. Service sucked too and it wasn't even busy yet. I would definitely or recommend this place to anyone. My husband is not picking at all and said it was horrible. read more

I had a Moscow mule to drink, very delicious. For an appetizer I had calamari, that's was good and my meal was the fried chicken , 3 pieces of chicken with kale salad, and mashed potatoes on the side. Great place to enjoy the night outside in the patio. read more

Best sports bar/pizza restaurant in the area. Their pizza taste just like New Haven style which is the best in the country. Fun/energetic atmosphere, very welcoming, great neighborhood spot. They have a great selection of beer as well, highly recommended. Plenty of TVs to watch any game anytime. read more

This place was worth the wait. I went with some friends on Saturday night. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted and told the wait would be about 30 minutes. We barely had time to order a drink before our table was ready. Nice surprise. We were asked whether we'd like a regular or high top table. We opted for the high top which was perfect for conversation even though there were three other people seated at the other end. When we sat down, we all commented how bright it was. Figuring out proper lighting levels seems to be tricky for a lot of restaurants. By 7:30, the lights started to dim and we felt like it was all coming together. We asked our server for a starter recommendation. She suggested the cheese curds which we weren't that excited about but decided to try any way. Yet another nice surprise. They have a light tempura-like batter - delicious. For our meal, we ordered the goat cheese with grapes and the taco pizzas. I'm not a goat cheese fan but my friends raved about it. The taco pizza was very tasty. I would definitely order it again. Overall, the service was very good. This will be a restaurant on the regular rotation. read more

Always enjoy visiting Holts! They have a very creative cocktail list and come pretty interesting pizzas (elote, taco, and a hot cheeto and chorizo for example). Great place for Brunch too, I love their Bloodys! The breakfast burrito is phenomenal imo, but a lot of people rave about the chicken and waffles as well. read more

Food is always fantastic! I've never had a meal I didn't like here. But the reason for three stars is due to the consistent lack of service. Each time we dine here, I spend my time trying to track down a server wondering where a drink is, wanting to order, needing water.... brings down the whole experience that could easily be 5 stars. read more

This is my second trip here...both times the food was very very good....and the service was great as well. First time was a Sunday after church for brunch...loved it. Tonight food and service is awesome.....but....you can't even hear yourself think much less talk to the person on the other side of the table. Way too LOUD!! read more

Holt's - Mashed potato sausage pizza - Pizza Near Me - Park Ridge, Illinois

I sat at a table outside and tho there were were open tables, they told me I couldn't sit there alone. When I spoke to the owner, he was rude. I'll NEVER go back. read more

Absolutely love Holts ! Such a new Fresh vibe for Park Ridge ! Has such a great city feel to it . The food was amazing ! Taco pizza was great and the sliders were so so good! The staff was awesome , attentive, and fast working ! Great place for a family dinner or a date night ! read more

Well, this was a bit of a disappointment. We were told the salmon here was great so we tried it. What we were served was way overcooked and dried out. When I mentioned it to the waitress she said that Park Ridge has rules about how food needs to be cooked and they have to cook it longer than normal. I actually couldn't finish it and gave the rest of mine to my hubby. We had also ordered the breaded zucchini as an appetizer and the breading actually fell off more than it stayed on. I did like the chipotle mayo dipping sauce and it did make the salmon more edible. I would have said more but we had a gift card so it cost us less. One other complaint is that the main dish came within about 5 minutes of our appetizer and we had both on the table at the same time. Probably won't go back here. read more

This was our first time in Park Ridge and chose Holt's based on a recommendation from a friend. The menu was awesome! It was very hard to choose! We ordered the cheddar fries (ah-mazing), taco pizza, cheese pizza, Reuben, beet salad, and sliders. The beet salad had a ton of arugula - really more than it needed. The Reuben meat was sliced a bit too thick. The service was awesome but the atmosphere was a little on the loud side and the music kept replaying the same song (really the same lyric) over and over. read more

Travel quite often so I'm an avid yelper. Glad I stumbled upon this gem...Atmosphere was amazing and I was also able to watch the NHL Playoffs (Go Blue Jackets!) Not to mention the food was AMAZING. Had the cheese curds and custom burger with bacon and jalapeños. Drink menu is insane and is a Game of Thrones theme. Super cool. Highly recommend if you're in the area! read more

Service is slooooooow. We decided to come here because we did not want to drive into the city for New Year's Day brunch. So come here with a semi hungry stomach and when all is said and done you'll be starving....perfect? The buratta is good and deserves its own bracket of 4 stars. I live close but won't be returning. read more

Great ambiance. Top notch service - bartenders and hosts were so friendly and knew their stuff! Fish tacos were delish and could be ordered as a full meal instead of an appetizer. We've only ever sat at the bar, but the patio looks lovely. The drink menu is very creative/unique and offers something for everyone. (The only reason I didn't give five stars is the menu is a bit pricey for what I'd largely call "upscale bar food".) read more

We had a great dinner here tonight, we got there at 5pm and when we left at 6 the place was almost full. We had the cheese curds, which were okay...good for Chicago standards. We both had burgers for dinner which were really good. Service was great, ambiance was great...mix of families and adults but not too much of a bar atmosphere. We'll definitely be back! read more

Disappointed to go in to pick up food and find that the hostess and the bartender were both without masks. The hostess kept her mask off as she handed us our food and greeted other customers. The bartender did not even have a mask in sight. Really shows a lack of respect to it's customers. Please do better. read more

We made reservatons for 7:00 on a Thursday and we were seated immediatley even though we were fifteen minutes early. Our server was friendly but she didn't mention the daily special which we had missed on the board by the hostess station as you walk in. I only mention it because I probably would have ordered it had I known. The food was really good. I had the steak sandwhich which was done perfectly. The hand cut fries were also done right. My wife had the house burger which was very tender and the mix of garlic and onions was incredible. The overall atmosphere is laid back and comfortable but as others have said, it is loud. This seems to be the trend lately and I hope it gets old and goes away soon. We would definitely come back. read more

Tried to go there for dinner today. Was seated immediately and a server never showed up to our table. Others were seated around our table and were immediately met with a server. After waiting 20 minutes with still no sign of a server to our table, I decided to leave. After telling this to the hostess (who sat us), she seemed confused and only offered a confused apology. Won't be coming back here. read more

Food here is good but the biscuits and gravy are a hard pass. Wings were good, burgers also good.

We really enjoyed ourselves. My husband and I came in to watch a college football game, so we sat at the bar. The bartender acted as our waiter and gave us perfect recommendations as to what to order. We truly enjoyed ourselves and said, "We'll be back." I'm glad we have a place like Holt's now in Park Ridge. read more

Meh... my husband and I snuck out of the house alone for a dinner together. We decided to try Holt's on a Thursday evening in August. It was soo loud inside that we had a hard time hearing each other. The food wasn't anything great either. I was looking forward to the cheese curds, but they weren't very good. Even the homemade ranch that came with it tasted strange. I got a boring salad and my husband got a burger that he described as "just ok". Very disappointed after hearing lots of people talking about this place over the past year. read more

This place is real Park Ridge gem. We didn't know exactly where we were going to walk there from another place nearby. We got a little turned around. Asked a guy for help as we were trying to find our way... and he was the owner of Holt's! By the time we had gotten there, he had called ahead and we had cheese curds ready for us on him! A family place with a small town feel. They had great food. We had a sloppy joe and hamburger, both were great. They given you tons of food. We couldn't possibly finish what we ordered. The service was great! The prices are fair. A must see in Park Ridge for sure! read more

Ordered recently and the food was excellent, portions huge! Service was fast and accurate. The pizza is inventive and delish.

We met friends here for brunch. When we arrived the music was SO loud. Obscenely. There was a ton of baby strollers and kids overflowing the small tables. Crazy. Service was spotty. The bartender was serving the lounge area tables and it was packed.... however the coffee was great. The food was amazing. I had the avocado toast and it was awesoommmeeeee! read more

Heard a lot of buzz about this place and that I had to go and check it out, so I did I went on a Tuesday night with my husband, went around 5pm easy open table reservation. However I was not impressed with the food. I will not be returning. I don't get the hype. read more

Super yummy fish tacos, great casual place to hang out with friends or family, something for everyone, even smaller kids, I will return.

Friendly staff. Cool layout and decor. They get four stars for the meatball appetizer and staff. Plus the memory of the super good pizza with mashed potatoes on it. Cause first time I tried that it was really good. The potatoes had form and weren't just mush on the pizza. The texture matters with odd ingredients like that. I feel bad that I convinced my sister to try that pizza instead of something different now. I'd go back and maybe get the cheese curds again. Those I got with the pizza my original visit and they and their sauces were good. Definitely would get the meatballs again. I like the place. So I'll be back next time I visit my hometown but I will stay away from the frufruy pizzas. Lol read more

How lucky are we that Pine's has turned into a great locally owed spot with great food and drink. The burger is as good as you will get. I've been several times and everything I've tried has been great. The service is always great as well. I don't understand how some people on here are giving them 1 star because the wait was too long to get a table? IMO, its's well worth the wait, if you don't want to wait go during off times or during the week! Very Happy that we have a "Go To" spot in Park Ridge now. read more

Great brunch place. Had a nice beer selection. Service was a bit slow but overall a winner.

It gives a city feel in a suburban town, and brings me back to the good old days in college where you're surrounded by good people, good food, drinks and watching the game. Highly recommend, will definitely be coming back for the pizza! read more

I walked in and was immediately greeted, very politely! I ordered the salmon blt and it was great!! Fresh, great tasting! I really liked the inside of that place! My server was punctual, I'll defiantly be coming back! read more

Great food and atmosphere. Prices and decent and have a large selection of beers. Had the burger and was cooked well with themed drinks. Fun time overall read more

Can't get enough of their Italian Beef Pizza! Actually, all their pizzas are really good. I could eat one everyday!

Very nice place. Great menu wide selection of food and beverages. Top location. Thank you.

A perfect gem and a breath of fresh air in Park Ridge! The cheese curds are amazing. Awesome selection of different beers and a clever, unique cocktail menu. I've never had a bad meal here. Both dinner and brunch are consistently outstanding. read more

Moving into the area soon so my wife and I decided to stop in for dinner on a Friday night and we were blown away. Ordered their mashed potato and bacon specialty pizza and split a chopped salad. Holts is great. Never had anything I didn't love. Fresh food, friendly service and great cocktails. Love it.
