So many varieties of Dave's Killer Bread!
    Karen W.

They've got killer prices on Dave's Killer Bread! As of 8-2021 their prices are 2 for $5. Are you ready to carb load? Then venture on over to the bakery outlet store. They have so many varieties of killah bread and also Nature's Own brand that if you're looking for a loaf chances are you'll find what you need. In addition to Dave's loaves, they also had bagels and hamburger buns. I also saw the Tastykake signs here but sadly they did not have any available when I was browsing. Other items I spied were fruit hand pies, canned meats, dry sauce mixes and pita bread. The cashier at the counter was very friendly and wore a mask. Next time I need bread I'll head over here to stock up.

This outlet isn't like the ones I've been to before. The bakery items aren't last minute and they have plenty of time so whenever I'm hosting an event, this is my go-to spot for various buns, specialized breads (21 grain) and always a box of cookies at a significantly lower price then what I find in the major chain retail grocery stores. . My favorite are the Nature's Own Brioche Hot Dog and Hamburger buns... I was thankful to the cashier who took the time to help me by grabbing a few more requests that were no longer on the shelves when I arrived, but they had plenty. Located just behind the Can't Stop Smoking BBQ spot and across the street from Rudy's BBQ... you can easily see from the Parking lots.

High prices for surplus goods. They probably throw half the food away after a few days, so why not lower the prices?

Good prices but watch expiration dates. Good variety of items available. Some items are cheaper at grocery stores so be aware.

They are open until 5:30pm not 2:30 as it says on FB. Great bread for $1.00 a loaf and it is organic! Friendly cashiers. Worth the drive.

Located right next to 99 ranch and other Asian stores, 85c has Asian pastries, cookies, breads and drinks. We enjoyed a few baos with cream filling, a slice of coffee cake and the black milk tea. I usually don't get chocolatey things at Asian bakeries because they rarely "do" chocolate well, and it was the same here: the chocolate chip cookie and black forest cake were only okay and just not rich enough with a cocoa taste. Sign up for their rewards program to get discounts and promotions, even though you have to buy quite a bit to get anything and the points expire. Compared to non-Asian bakeries, everything is a much more reasonable price overall. A few tables are available, though I can imagine it being crowded. Still would love to get an 85c closer to home!

BUT I did make reservations for the next day, so I wouldn't leave Arizona without out trying this place. Choices were hard, but we narrowed it down to "Butcher" pizza and Uncle Arthur's sausage meatball, parmigiano cream with mafalde pasta! It was a good choice for us. Just enough food for the two of us with a glass of white wine! We REALLY, REALLY wanted to try to save room for Tiramisu, but we just couldn't. We were staying at a hotel, so we knew we couldn't take home the left overs since we were heading back to California the next morning. Oh, oh, I wish you guys were here in San Diego, but looks like I will have to wait till our next trip to Chandler! What a great lively place....if it wasn't so cold I would have opted to sit outside. It looked pretty out there, too!

The young gal behind the counter was very friendly and was busting her ass with triple duty: taking orders, bussing tables, delivering food. There's a fair selection of quiches to choose from, I think about six varieties, and a pretty hefty selection of delectable pastries. Caution: the eating area is a bit small (maybe fits about a dozen people). That said, do not be surprised or upset if you have to take your order to go. The parking could potentially be a bit tight, too, since it's not a very large lot. Regardless, don't let that stop you from hitting up Q&P for some tasty food. It's worth it.

I know they're vegetarian, but I wanted to double check with her. She responds as "vegetarian means no meat, right"? All employees working at a food establishment should know what vegetarian means. This was quite baffling to hear. I asked her for a new slice because the one that was out on display was visibly burned and the other slice was touching pepperoni from the meat pizza. As mentioned, I'm a vegetarian. Therefore, I could not have either one of those slices. She proceeds to say that's how the pizzas are. They are slightly burned because they are so sourdough. While I can accept this answer, I do not accept the fact that she would not be willing to give me another slice as a paying customer. She insensitively said she can't give me a new one until all the old slices are taken up. She mentioned that this is their procedure. According to this, they are saying that they will not provide a proper product unless the old, damaged product, or unacceptable by the customer is used up first. If this is their business model, then it is apparent they do not value customer service. This business should have the competence to understand that if they want to sell a product, they cannot sell it in a condition that the customer is not satisfied with. Most importantly, being a vegetarian, they should have the sensitivity to understand that if a slice is touching the meat product then they cannot consume it. And again, the employee completely disregarded my health and religious beliefs by not accommodating me. You usually won't encounter problems when you're just trying to buy bread. However, it reflects on the business's employees greatly when there is a problem and they do not value customer service by resolving or accommodating the customer's satisfaction. I will be switching to Noble exclusively. Especially since it's so readily available at the farmers markets and stores.
