Holmdel Cleaners saved my son's Junior prom!!! My 16 year old waited until the last minute to try on his suit and of course it didn't fit. The seat was tight and the pants were high waters. This was the Tuesday before a Friday night prom. The owner (I don't know her name) was very sympathetic and supportive! She understood the stress of the situation. Not only did she hem the pants and let out the seat but she pressed his new shirt in record time. It was done by Wednesday!!!! AMAZING customer service!!! The suit looked perfect on him. Never go here. They lose clothes all the time and they're not even nice about it. They argue with you claiming you took the clothes already. The gentleman behind the counter is arrogant and rude. Very disappointed about my experience and even more upset about them losing my silk blouses. How do you give away someone else's clothes? Especially when this is your job! Consider yourself warned. They are the sweetest couple ever! I bring my stuff in here every 2 weeks to get dry cleaned. They always remember me, and are open early in the morning to about 7pm. I think it's cash only. A little pricey, but it's Holmdel. They are also super reliable...nothing lost or stained/ruined ever. read more

Terrible place. STAY AWAY!!!! They lose clothes and shame on me. First time was some of my husbands shirts. They insisted they didn't have them, however...we continued pursuing and they eventually came up with them. Next time they lost a silk robe of mine and they insisted I didn't drop it off for cleaning. My husband brought in the belt (which I held back) and told them he wanted to go through their inventory and found it. They were nasty and not apologetic. My husband advised me to find another dry cleaners...because they are so close to our house, I made the mistake of dropping off clothes again. This time was a French Connection Navy Suede like dress and white suede-like long jacket. I asked for a slight sleeve shortening and dry cleaning. Owner even commented that the coat was very nice. I picked up all of our dry cleaning and never inventoried what I picked up. Until, I went to wear the suit and could not find it. I called and went there to check the inventory. Even reminded them that they admired the jacket ...they denied ever seeing the outfit and insisted they didn't have it. The problem was the drop off was in May and I didn't want to wear it again until the end of September. So too much time lost and I couldn't find in their inventory - although they ran the rack very fast and it was hard for me to really see. They were rude, disregarded my recollection of the alteration and dry-cleaning submission and they really don't care - they actually got annoyed at me for asking about my own clothes and denied every seeing them. I finally found a new dry cleaner who said he gets a lot of the customers they offend and apparently there are many. read more

Just moved to the area this year (2013) and tried to find a great dry cleaner on Yelp. This place had good reviews and is close to my house. The service is fantastic, and our clothing comes out great each time. The first time I went, I was greeted very warmly and given a nice big laundry bag to carry my dry cleaning which has a tag where you can keep your ticket. Very convenient. The warm greetings have not stopped even though it has been 6 months. They offer free pick-up and delivery, but I haven't used it yet. I'm due to have a baby in a few months and will probably benefit from that service when caring for a newborn I won't want to lug around for a couple months. I'd recommend them. read more

I've lived in Holmdel for the past 12 years and in the area for much longer. I can say I've been going here for as long as I can remember and no one matches the quality of work that is done here. The owners take pride in all they do from the cleaning and pressing to alterations. I trust them enough to have had them alter my dresses and my daughters dresses that we wore to the Grammy's every year that we attended, dresses for weddings and bridal parties. My husband always uses them to dry-clean all of his business attire without issues. They may be a little more but trust me when I tell you that you get what you pay for. When we were new to the area we tried all of the local dry-cleaning establishments and our clothing was never quite as clean and another establishment even pressed dirty clothes! Gross! Slowly all of our relatives that moved into the area had similar experiences and ended up just going to Holmdel Cleaners for everything too. I would never trust my clothes or alterations to anyone else! I love the owners, they are hardworking and genuinely care.
