Exceptionally clean facility. Been using laundromats for the past few weeks while we're in the process of moving. This is by far the nicest and cleanest one I've been to. The woman working the counter was very nice. Their machines are also payable by phone and are connected to an app which lets you know when your laundry is 7 minutes from being done. Finally, this laundromat has reopened under new owners/management. Thank goodness! I am happy to say this laundromat is now clean, the machines work well, and they even have a drop off and pick up, which is very convenient considering we are all busy in today's world. It has been closed for the past few weeks with no explanation. No signs on the door or windows. They text me saying they are not accepting any laundry at this time. I didn't check this week though. I've only been to one other laundromat, so I don't have a lot to compare this place too. After I left, I went to at the average pricing to use an "extra large washer"--$4.00. At $7.00 a load for an extra large washer, and $3.00 for a small, I won't be coming back. Pricing aside, the attendant there was incredibly rude. As my boyfriend was sorting out socks, she caught a glimpse of a small amount of dog hair in the sock pile. She came up to me and said "How could you let your clothes get so disgusting?" A few minutes later, she let me know I'd have to clean out every machine and handed me a bottle of ammonia and a rag. There I was--for at least 20 minutes while things dried, on my hands and knees in the laundromat cleaning out washers with ammonia. I'm the one who cleaned them out--So I can confidently say there was no trace of any dog hair remaining. When my boyfriend came up trying to joke about it with her, her response to his "winter shedding" comment was to tell us to take them to the vet and have them cleaned. I can understand having someone do this if the place had been packed. We were the only people there, had just paid 45 dollars to wash our own clothes, and there was CLEARLY no dog hair left in any of the machines. Totally horrifying. I came here because of all the positive reviews. The person who greeted me at the door was very professional and courteous. Since this is a wash and fold service laundromat, my review will be solely regarding the service performed. 1. The laundromat is very clean and is well lit. There are several things to do while you wait for your clothes to wash/dry. I used their Wash and Fold service and they charge $1.30 per pound (other laundromats charge between $0.69 to $0.81 per pound). Since I was paying a lot more, I expected higher quality work. 2. The shirts and pants appeared to have stains as if they were washed without detergent. I called and spoke to a woman who identified herself as the owner and was told that nothing can be done and if I want to rewash, I'd have to pay again. I will never come back here again for their wash and fold service. I'll try another location that will do a good job with washing. read more

Very clean bright and cool (during August) many carts available for use. It's nice I see that customers pull up to the curb and unload into a cart. Chairs outside for smoking. Friendly employee behind the counter. Seating available inside. Restroom so-so clean. (must ask for key) Takes coins. I came to wash a large comforter and the staff told me what washer/dryer would be best for my oversized load. I've had issues washing it in the past at a local spot that had my comforter smelling like grease after washing. Will definitely come back to finish the rest of our comforters and curtains. I just moved into a home and am waiting for my washer & dryer to be delivered. In the meantime, I dropped off my laundry for wash and fold service. The woman who works there (I believe her name was Celina according to the receipt) was extremely sweet and kind. I went in the morning and she said she could have it done by the end of night. I ended up picking it up the next morning (because I had a lot of errands to do and couldn't make it there at night) and she was working again. My clothes were folded very well and smelled like Gain, which I enjoyed. I would definitely recommend here. read more

I am completely new to the area - came in today as my washer and dryer has not been hooked up yet. I was carry a few things and was greeted at the door by the sweetest women. I explained to her that I have never been to a laundromat before and she helped me through the entire process. I wish employees were like this everywhere - I felt as if I was home spending time with a family member. I'm pretty illiterate when it comes to laundry machines, but the gentleman working here helped me become one with the machines and weighed my laundry to make sure I didn't over spend by using too big a machine. To the owner: take mattress covers off your board if your staff doesn't like doing them so much that they don't do them right. I was overcharged by $10.00 on 2 mattress covers, 1 queen & 1 twin, and charged for 2 King/Queen. I clearly said 1 queen/1 twin on drop-off, but understand mistakes happen and although the cashier when I picked-up couldn't help, I contemplated calling the manager or owner to fix the mistake. Later that night I realize the queen cover was still damp... wet my pajamas damp. Twin was just slightly damp and fits in my dryer, so no biggie. Couldn't let 2 mistakes go by, so I called and spoke to the manager who initially said she'd refund the $10 for the overcharge and when I explained that the queen cover was still damp, she stated that she hates doing mattress covers because they take too long to dry. That she had folded it herself and that it was dry. BUT IT WASN'T. I even offered to bring it back in to show that it is still damp. I explained that I'd have to redo it, wanting the $30 refund, and she said she'd need to speak to the owner. She called back stating the best they could do for me was rewashing and drying it. I'm not going to go back to a business who couldn't do it right to begin with, complained about how they hate the service they provide and then argued with me that it was done correctly when it wasn't. read more

Will not come here anymore. The one lady that works there durning the day is very rude and loud. When ask for change due to the change machines out of order. She gives an attitude like it's an inconvenience for her to get up and do her job. She ask you to watch the place so she can run to Dunkin' Donuts. You now can't have drinks or food in there buts it's ok for her to sit there with meals delivered by the local pizza places and eating and making a mess on the tables were you fold your clothes. Owner doesn't seem to care and is afraid to say anything to her when brought to his attention. She will take up so many dyers for her personal laundry with only a few items in each which then inconvenience the customers. She rather BS on a company phone and gossiping about customer to phone caller. She has made fun and commented rudely about customers that pickup their laundry to a friend that sits with her and this is all when she is on the clock. If this is how a place allows their employees to act then they will lose customer. Update: still very sad how people have to lie to just get a good review. Tell the truth. Be honest. read more

This Laundromat/Business is EXCELLENT! Very clean, the staff is friendly & helpful. Other customers, are also friendly, and many conversations are happening, while doing a chore, that nobody really likes to do. :) The Review by Christina C., could not be further from the truth!! Staff is NOT at all rude, nor do they EVER give an attitude. The change machine DOES work, and staff happily gives change (if change machine won't take wrinkled bill, etc) I have personally offered, (and witnessed others as well) ask the staff if they'd like anything, while going over to Dunkin' Donuts--So the statement that THEY leave to go to DD, is a flat out LIE! NOBODY eats (other than coffee/donut) pizza, or such and tables have never been greasy. And as far as the staff taking up machines/dryers--it is NOT for personal laundry. The staff is fulfilling the "Wash & Fold" service, for paying customers!! This Laundromat is somewhat out of my way--but I drive past others to come to this one, BECAUSE it is clean, safe, and the staff is awesome. read more

First of all, I NEVER LEAVE REVIEWS! But today I felt the need to for this wonderful establishment. Ever since I moved to Matawan my boyfriend and I have been coming to this laundromat. Let me start by saying it's the FIRST place to ever offer to bring my laundry inside from my car. To even look at me in the eyes and say "hey, welcome!". Chris the owner was the first person we met and he is such a nice guy! Always willing to help. Michele is just the sweetest!!!! She literally is always offering help and even goes as far as offering people Dunkin while they're there. I don't think I've ever seen her frown or in a bad mood. Her energy and vibe is amazing. It's important to write this because doing laundry is a chore and something most people dread to do. I honestly don't dread doing it anymore.
