We had 3 or 4 instances (some deferred maintenance from the past owner) where we needed to call on Derek and he was always really responsive, communicated quickly and efficiently, and very honest with us about the best option to repair or replace parts when necessary. At least a couple of times he talked us out of more expensive solutions that he didn't think were necessary which I greatly appreciated since we hadn't owned a pool before. Work was always done when he said it would be, invoices were fairly priced and came through without huge delays. I'd very highly recommend him to anyone in the Tucson area!

Had someone we've used come out to give to estimate (over a year ago), never heard back from him, great guy but we've heard he's now out of business. So we called Tom of Sapphire Pool Service. Decided to get a DE filter instead of a sand filter (love it!). Also decided to go with new color changing LED lights. Tom was able to get everything fixed, installed and the pool now looks great and is working perfectly. Could not have asked for a more professional quality job! Tom's a great person to work with. He has high work ethics, something you don't see much of any more. We highly recommend Sapphire Pool Service!!!

Since switching to Glass Bottom Pools, I haven't had the threat of a green pool since. What I especially appreciate is that they don't just maintain the pool. They look at the bigger picture. They gave me helpful feedback on my landscaping and identified things around the property that could contribute to phosphate spikes. After making some strategic landscaping changes based on their recommendations, it's been smooth sailing. They also service and treat above-ground hot tubs, which I've found many pool maintenance companies don't offer. Having one reliable company that can take care of both my pool and hot tub is a huge plus. Troy and Dennis are knowledgeable, responsive, proactive, reasonably priced, and always willing to help when I have a question or concern. They provide great value, and as a property owner, having people I can rely on to keep everything consistently guest-ready is incredibly important. I'm so glad I found these guys and highly recommend Glass Bottom Pools!

Needless to say it was leaking and now solidly/finally beyond rehab efforts. These guys quoted me a very competitive price for a replacement. Many pool companies have huge waiting times during this odd, pandemic-related home/remodel explosion. Phil came within 3 days to do a (free) evaluation and estimate and then we scheduled the repair for his next available opening about 10 days later - on a Sunday morning! All appointment times were average or much faster than average right now. Phil confessed he's absorbing the high demand by working 7 days a week. During the replacement/repair of the sand filter setup we ran into several issues that required some creative re-plumbing. None of it was added on - neither the couple of extra parts, the extra trip to Leslie's and Ace, nor the extra time. In other words, they stuck to their word on the original $1k estimate. They did mention that it didn't hurt that I hung with them all three hours, lending a hand wherever I could (mostly I just wanted to learn/understand the new set up). These guys are good-natured, very knowledgable, cleanup after the job is done, and test everything before leaving. A fair price for a fair job? Yes you can!
