We are extremely happy with the cleaning that Doc's pool tile delivered. We were actually shocked how beautiful our tile was underneath the calcium build up. We are so happy we chose them for this service. They have the newest technology, which makes it safe, simple and easy. The price was reasonable as well. We highly recommend their service to others. We give them 5 star in all areas. read more

Doc's Pool Tile Cleaning - Pool Cleaners Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

This company came to do a service at our pool a few weeks ago. I have called them and left 3 polite messages over the past few weeks asking them to please call me back, as the calcium buildup wasn't fully removed after they serviced the pool and came back within a few weeks as bad as it was before. We paid a lot of money for this service and wanted to discuss what could be done. I don't know what else to try to get them to communicate with me. We at least expected them to honor us as customers and call us back to help us make this right. I can't recommend this company right now. read more

Calcium scale completely gone off dark blue tiles but left pool deck a bit gritty. We had to hose and sweep entire deck surrounding the pool and spa. Definitely did a great job but left it messy. read more

Had the (usual) calcium carbonate "ring around the pool." Tried acid, scrubbing, even chipping. Never budged. Doc arrived 5 minutes before our appointment time, and got right to work. Jaw-dropping results with ZERO damage to anything! He uses Epsom salts as an abrasive (non-toxic and don't leave a mess!) I couldn't have been more pleased. Pool now looks incredible. Solid value here - would recommend 110%! read more

I am putting my home up for sale. My pool tiles needed to be cleaned and the photographer was coming in two days. Doc said he would be able to do the job the next morning at a great price. He and his crew showed up on time and began immediately to clean. They were extremely professional, courteous, fair and honest, and cleaned the entire area. My tile was cleaned perfectly. Awesome!! Would highly recommend Doc's Pool Cleaning as my first choice. read more

Doc's Pool Tile Cleaning promptly showed up at the designated time and was able to remove all the calcium build up on our rock waterfall surface that had accumulated over 4 years despite our using soft water; moreover, he also removed the calcium build up on our porcelain tile from the splash. His bid was exactly one-half that of two other companies and he gave us a veteran discount. I would highly recommend his services without reservation. J. Dennis Steen, M.D. read more

Several weeks ago Doc removed the calcium line on our pool which has black tile. Additionally, the in floor cleaning system had failed and was out of service for several weeks. We were out of town and only saw pictures of green water. When we returned we saw how bad this actually was. We called Doc and he advised us to drain the pool and tackle the pebble tech discoloration with an acid wash. He advised that the acid wash may not work and in that case he would have to clean the entire pool the same way he cleans calcium. Needless to say, that would have been very expensive. Thankfully the acid wash worked great and our pool looks like new. Doc prices his work fairly and has a high integrity. He's not the first tile cleaner we've had, but he is the best. I strongly endorse Doc for your pool cleaning. read more

Every summer, my husband and I have been using giant bricks of pumice to remove the calcium ring on our pool tile. It's a 3-day ritual neither of us was up to this year. Today, Doc's Tucson Pool Tile Cleaning came out and did an incredible job, leaving our pool tile looking brand new. When done, they vacummed the bottom of the pool and rinsed off the cool deck and surrounding brick. We couldn't be happier with the result and highly recommend this company. read more

We CANNOT RECOMMEND this company. We have an indoor pool and simply needed the top 6" strip of tile at the top rims of our pool and spa cleaned. We were told that Doc's used a technique that was spot specific, and which would prevent messing up our pool room. This turned out NOT to be the case ! Our pool room was left in a total mess with the salt slurry on everything, including the decking, walls, doors, and windows!!! When that slurry dries it is very difficult to remove. It also softened and took off the sealant on some of our flagstone decking, and that now needs to be resealed. This all could have been prevented if plastic draping like painters and drywall workers use had been placed. We had assumed this would have been included in the $895 fee they charged for the ONLY ONE HOUR job they did. As it turned out, they did absolutely No Clean-up! We were left with having to hire other people to come in to clean up the mess Doc's left, and that cost us another ~ $1,000! We contacted Doc's with our complaint, but we got no reply from them. If you have an indoor pool that needs tile cleaning, we strongly advise that you DO NOT USE this company. read more

These guys were working on my neighbor's pool and I asked that they give me a bid. I accepted the bid and set an appt with them for the following Thursday. They didn't show up on schedule so I called. I was told that they were getting the tires changed on their truck. No one called me in advance to reschedule or to advise me of their issues. If they don't have enough consideration to simply make a call, I'm certainly not going to trust them to be considerate of my home. UPDATE: In response to the owner's comment. This appt was made over a week ago. If you don't have contact info you obviously have the address. Might be a little work but send someone to the house, during the week plus lead time, and either get the contact info or reschedule during the visit. Not getting my info wasn't my fault. read more

Great job by Doc's in ridding the calcium deposits from the pool tile. Very pleased wit the results.

We had Doc's clean the tile around our swimming pool, and repair the caulking. They also changed out the sand in our filter with Magic Glass media. They arrived on time, deployed their pumps and were in the water within about 15 minutes. They worked rapidly, did a fine job, and cleaned up afterwards. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

Excellent job cleaning the calcium ring off my pool. Doc was responsive and professional. Highly recommend.

The owner Doc was awesome very personable. Would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs pool tile cleaning. Very reasonable price. And very dependable. read more

Very quick and professional. The company did a great job cleaning my pool tile, they look brand new again.

I've used Doc's Pool Tile Cleaning in the past and was satisfied with the job. This time, I had some issues. They cleaned the residue band on the top of the tile in less than an hour. I met the owner, Derek, and initially the cleaned tile looked fine. I paid him and he gave me a card to his other business which had a cell /text number on it. After the tile dried, however, you could still see the band all the way around the pool. I sent a text a few hours after they finished telling Derek (Doc) that there was a visible band still all around the pool where he had cleaned that became visible once the tile dried. He suggested I send him a picture. The next morning I sent him 3 photos showing the band on the tile around the pool and asked him what he thought. (2 photos attached). I also texted him I had never scrubbed it with pumice so it couldn't be that. I never heard back from him. I know he saw the photos and several text messages I sent him, asking politely for a response, because I could see the read receipt on my phone. I then left him 4 voicemails on his other business phone for his tile cleaning business asking him to respond and also sent him an email. It's been more than a week and there is no response. I don't expect people to jump when I ask for a response. But after paying $495, sending 3 photos, several text messages, leaving 4 voicemails and an email, I did expect he would have the courtesy to respond to a repeat customer who was not satisfied with his work. He didn't. Very disappointing. read more

We booked an appointment at the SABA home show last month. Workers arrived on time and worked quickly. They drained the pool to expose the tile at the waterline, blasted the mineral deposit once over, then repeated in stubborn sections. Afterward, they vacuumed the sediment at the bottom of the pool and steps. The results were amazing, like our pool was brand new again! We were using a pumice stone here and there and during the winter gave up completely. I'm so glad we won't be embarrassed to let guests swim in our pool this summer! read more

Throw away your brushes, pumice blocks, chemicals, scrunge pads and save your elbow grease. Just call Doc's Pool Tile Cleaning. This process requires specialized equipment and know how--and at Doc's cost it is worth every penny and more. Doc and his assistant were careful and meticulous about their work, yet they were in and out quickly. At the end of the job they flushed off the tile and pool deck and left everything perfect. I am so impressed because after eight years of circling the pool with brushes, scrapers and chemicals while my wife was floating on the raft, I can now join her and relax while enjoying great views of the mountains and my clean tiles. Thanks so much for making time available for us and I commend you all the check out their video! Once you see that nasty while ring disappear you will be sold!! read more

Docs did a good job removing the calcium line from both the tile and pebble Tec. Tile replacement of three tile was good too except for the fact that two of the three tiles he replaced weren't flush with the existing tiles. Left my pool looking great though. The cons- he left a mess of blasting material all around the pool deck and in the pool and helped himself to my trash cans. I didn't make a big deal about it. Overall, satisfied and good value for the money read more

Great service! My pool tile looks much better than expected. I won't wait as long to call next time.

Well that easy! We were able to text photos of the pool, received a fair price and set the appointment for our schedule. So hired Doc's company to clean tile, they did good. Employee Bubba mentioned that Doc does carpet removal and smoothes cement. So I hired him for that. He shows up today and I greet them with, good morning. I asked if they were vaccinated and he replied Nope. I asked politely if they'd wear a mask and he said, Nope. So I said I already moved all the furniture, and he said I'm not going to argue about it (which I wasn't) I said so that's it then? And he said Yup and drove off. I have an elderly mother in law who lives with us-75, whom Bubba met the last time he was here. I had tipped each boy 50 dollars and he told me to make a separate check because he would never see the money if I included it on Doc's check. Hindsight 20/20. How unprofessional. Very irritated, and insulted. I sure hope it wasn't my brown skin. read more

Doc's scheduled our tile cleaning 6/4/20 at 3 PM but never showed up nor did they call. I left a message asking them to call but as yet I have not received one. Doc's responded to our pool tile cleaning request in a timely manner. The team was efficient.

Docs did a great job in getting the tiles for my pebble tec pool cleaned! Like what a huge difference! I'm very pleased with the quality of work they did! Plus the process was so not messy and safer than scraping or glass bead blasting! I was unhappy though that were "running behind" and did not call or text me to let me know. I had an appt for 3pm and they didn't show until after 5pm. So the downfall of the lack of communication is why I could not give a 5 star review. read more

I shopped around for someone to clean my pool tile. The tile had not been cleaned since the pool was installed in the early 80's. Now, it looks fantastic, but here's the low-down on why I recommend Doc: He could measure my pool using Google maps, and gave me a quote over the phone. This was a huge plus for me. Doc does the work. It's his business, he's the man on the job. I appreciated that because I knew who I was dealing with, and who would be in my back yard the whole time. Doc knows his tile blasting. He's patient articulate and clear. His prices were fair and he was easy to communicate with. read more
