I truly love this business. Alberto is the sole owner and operator. What does that mean? That means he is the only one that will come and clean/service your pool. There is no more wondering who is coming to your home each week because you already know that it will be him. What I like about Alberto is that he takes the time to educate you about everything that is associated with your pool. As a somewhat new underground pool owner, there were a lot of things that I was oblivious to with a previous larger company. When I first hired Alberto to clean and maintain my pool I figured everything was good to go with it. The reason that I had hired him was because the previous company had jack the prices up so high that it was becoming no longer affordable for me. Alberto's prices are very reasonable and he let you know upfront if there's anything that may need fixed or repaired in the future and let you know what the price is going to be. The first time that he came to my home he noticed that my pool had some algae on the sides and asked how long that had been going on for. I told him that I had been going on for a few weeks and I thought it was due to the hot summer heat causing it. He said that he would have to look into it but it could be a filter issue. What I liked about him is that he took the time to walk me around the pool and show me all of the equipment and how it works and how it operates. The first thing he showed me was the pump and told me how it works and operates. He asked me if my pool had ever been backwashed. He showed me the drain tube where the water would come out of during the back wash process. I told him that I had never seen the previous pool boys ever do that because if they had they would've had to get a key from me to open up our gate. The only way that the water could be drain from the drain tube was if the gate was opened so the water could run out into the alley. I told him that I had never seen anyone do that before which told me that my pool had never been back washed previously. He showed me on my pump that there was a little glass gauge that allows you to see what the water looks like inside your pump filter. Mine was all nasty and green with algae that appeared to have been there for quite some time. It was really really gross. When he backwashed my pump the water that came out was pretty nasty and then eventually it became clear. Another thing that he noted was that my chlorine bucket that floats in my pool did not have any chlorine tabs in it, whatsoever. This is a service that I had paid for with the last company (and a reason their prices were increasing). I had noticed when we went swimming the weekend before he came to take over maintaining my pool that the pool didn't smell like chlorine like it normally does. This explains why the algae was growing like it was. They never filled my bucket and if they did they didn't put enough tablets. Next thing that he showed me was that my basket was full of bugs and leaves like it had never been cleaned out the previous week or possibly before that. One major thing that I like is that not only does he take a picture every time he cleans my pool but he also sent an email with everything that he did that day. He tells me what the readings were on my pool, he tells me what chemicals he added and what services he performs that day. The previous company never did this which is odd to me because they are a lot bigger and have a lot more workers so I'm not sure why they do not do that. He also takes the time to do a little find details that are required when maintaining a pool. He also explain to me the difference between algae caused by the sun or whether algae caused by a bad a pump that has not been backwashed. Another thing that I like is that he let me know that in the next 5 to 6 years that I may need to re-coat my pool and said that they could look for different companies in the future for quotes. read more

As an added bonus, he assisted in cleaning my fountain and arranged to keep the chemistry balanced while cleaning the pool at no extra charge.
