I was greeted and Tonya came up to me and introduced herself and had me choose my color. I asked her to add glitter to the color and she said no problem. I liked the whole atmosphere of the place because it was laid back and friendly. I noticed many of the customers were regulars because they were greeted by first name. That is a great sign!! I said no, regular manicure. I received and paid for a gel manicure, which was a higher price. I'm sure I could have argued, but I had dinner plans and hate confrontation. The Gel X Nail removal went pretty well, but I was nicked by the electric file no fewer than a dozen times. It wasn't particularly painful, but certainly wasn't pleasant. I also heard the staff speaking poorly about customers and their accents which was not very welcoming. The manicure itself was fine, though there is a lot of color bleed that I'll be touching up myself.

She forgot to turn the UV light on and blamed me for not telling her. She filed excessively and never pushed my cuticles back. I asked for short and she didn't even ask what shape she just filed square. The nails turned out pretty good but the experience wasn't great. It was very expensive and I know nails are expensive hence why I only do them for special occasions. The fact that they didn't even tell me about the up charge on the toe polish really upset me seeing I chose the basic pedicure for a reason. I was there for 3 hours. It's been a week and 3 of my nails broke at the cuticles and peeled off. I paid for dip which is supposed to have better hold up. I will not go back and I don't feel comfortable going back in and having them fixed because they already look grown out. Save your money ladies.
