Hollywood Land is located in Disney California Adventure. It's the first area you walk through during rope drop for park opening. There is a lot of activities and entertainment at Hollywood Land. Monsters, Inc Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! (Ride) Sorcerer's Workshop (Activity inside the Animation Studio) Mickey's PhilharMagic (3D show - it has a variety of magic worlds and music from some of Disney's classics like Aladdin and Coco!) Disney Jr. Dance Party! (Entertainment show - with Mickey Mouse and friends! My husband and I were visiting during the Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon, and there was a Halloween themed show playing! It was awesome!) Turtle Talk with Crush (Show where you get to ask Turtle Crush questions! It's a 15 minute show, and it's totally new each time you watch it since all of the questions are unique!) Animation Academy (Sketch a popular Disney Character. This runs every 30 minutes. You also get to keep your sketch!) The Hyperion Theater is currently closed. The outside waiting queue is currently being used for an Outside show, Deadpool Story Time. There's a lot of different places to eat at in Hollywood Land Award Wieners Schmoozies! ( This is my favorite place to get milkshakes!) Studio Catering Co Hollywood Lounge Fairfax Market I think this area also has the most stores to shop at! All of the stores are located as soon as you walk from the theme park gate on the right and left side. The stores have a wide range of apparel, toys, and so much more! Hollywood Land is one of my favorite areas at Disney's California Adventure! There are just so much activities in Hollywood Land, that you could spend half of your day in this area!

When visiting Disney California Adventure (DCA), the Hollywood Land is very iconic! Definitely feel like you are transported back to the old Hollywood days. There are a few dining options, shops, and scenic sights to see here. Though it is not my favorite in the park for theming, it is still a must see when visiting DCA!

This area mimics the look of a city in a backlot of a 1930s Hollywood studio. It extends to the Guardian of the Galaxy attraction. So it's quite the visual to see Tanileer Tivan's Citadel towering in the background. Disney Animation Academy: It's a neat place to check out, at least once. The lobby was open in June. But they weren't providing the cartoon drawing lessons for the obvious reason. You can view sketches of familiar Disney characters on the wall and watch short animation reels on overhead screens. I popped in here to get some air conditioned relief from the heat. Rides: + Monsters Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue ride. It's a super cute ride. But it's all by it's lonesome tucked away in the curbed if Hollywood Land. - Red Trolley. Some consider this to be a ride, I don't. But it wasn't running when I visited and I believe it is temporarily not operating still. Entertainment: - Hyperion Theater. Before COVID, the live musical performance of Frozen was going strong. The theater is currently closed indefinitely though. The theater queue area is now used as an outdoor dining patio. Food: + Award Wieners is a walk up food booth. 4 words... Carrot cake funnel fries. This is the only place in both parks that serve those suckers. - Fairfax Market. They sell sliced fruit, mandarins, whole pickle... stuff like that. But it was closed in June. - Carthay Circle Lounge. It's a dine in service restaurant. Reservations needed. Tips: + For cool selfie photo opps, they have several spots. (1). There is the classic wall with the street painted on it. Very Roger Rabbit-ish. (2) Captain America wings and shield. (3) Wanda Vision TV set couch with classic TV box frames. It's next to the Marvel Adventure stage. (4) Hollywood Backlot Stage. The back drop is a colorful light up board. During the day, Disney characters make an appearance. It's across the way from the Back Lot gift shop. Shopping: Visit the Backlot shop. The featured item is Avengers Campus gear. Even if you're not a shopper... go take a selfie next to a life size Iron Man and Spider Man, PYM enlarged can of soda and straw, etc!

Mike & Sulley to the Rescue was fun as well, riding the taxicabs and quoting character voices, as we explored their town of Monstropolis!

This is a project in which elementary, middle, and high school choirs and bands performed at Valencia High School in the city of Placentia, CA, in the morning, and were then invited to visit Knott's Berry Farm for fun and the award ceremony in the late afternoon. We were thrilled that both our Bishop Amat Choir and Bands took home four first-place trophies across four categories. Back to Knott's Berry Farm, this amusement park is so much fun. It is a large property, and there is so much to see, do, and enjoy a great, memorable time. On this day, when we visited the park, it was a bit crowded (but fun nonetheless) as numerous school-aged choirs and bands were there, and it was also opening day for Knotts' Soak City water park. Knotts had a promotion for ticket holders who visited both parks on the same day. The crowds were no problem whatsoever as we ALL managed to get on numerous rides, listen to music, eat ice cream, and have bartered fish tacos for dinner. The park is well-maintained, employees were all extremely friendly and helpful, and security can be seen throughout the park to ensure everyone's safety. My family and I chose to purchase standard annual passes, which were very affordable at $120.09 per pass. Interest-free monthly payments are a great option if you prefer not to pay for your season pass in one shot. Now that my family and I have annual passes with parking included, we will definitely visit often, if only to have lunch or dinner at the park.

Use a credit card to book your room, so you can use their quick check in line. Either way, make sure you take the exact card you use to book for checking in. Before you go, buy the discounted dining deal. You can only buy it in advance, and the food and drinks are pretty pricey, so you will spend $$$. I also suggest attaching your credit card to your wristband for convenience. We really enjoyed the pizza place onsite. We checked in on a Sunday and it was a bit crowded, but we managed to do it all in three hours. The kids loved the bunk bed, and my only complaint about our room is that the tub faucet leaked. The next day, we packed a bag with a change of clothes that we fit into a small locker for $12, and went back into the waterpark for a couple more hours. I recommend packing travel toiletries for a quick shower before leaving. They have plenty of showers, changing rooms, and a swimsuit dryer, but no toiletries in the waterpark bathrooms. Waterpark towels are provided and must be checked out and in or you'll be charged, so don't lose them. There's a water bottle refill station in the waterpark near the bathrooms. We didn't try many of the activities offered except for the arcade that offered packages starting at $35. Lastly, be sure to pay for parking before you leave. That was also $35. All in all, we got a deal on the room but spent more on food, drinks, games, and parking combined. My kids are 5 and 10, and they were able to go on just about everything that was open. One day was plenty of time if you don't plan on doing all of the activities.

The issue is not necessarily that every employee was rude -- the real problem is the completely broken system and lack of communication between departments. We booked THREE rooms for 18 guests for a birthday celebration and simply wanted to reserve and pay for a place where everyone could eat lunch together and celebrate with cake. Something that should have been straightforward became an exhausting process filled with confusion, conflicting information, and endless transfers between departments. The front desk had no idea about the policies of the events department. The front desk also had no clear understanding of pool policies. Every single question required someone to "leave a note" for another department and wait for an email response that never came. No callbacks. No follow-up. No accountability. The most frustrating part was trying to contact the front desk directly. First, you are forced through an AI system. Then you finally reach someone in the "reservation department," who is not even onsite. Despite politely asking multiple times to be transferred directly to the front desk, they refused and insisted they could help. They could not. Instead, they placed me on hold supposedly to ask the front desk themselves -- and after 11 minutes on hold, they never came back. At that point, yes, the reservation department representatives themselves became part of the problem: rude, dismissive, unprofessional, poorly trained, and completely incapable of resolving even simple questions. This company has far too many unnecessary departments that clearly do not communicate or work together. Planning an important family event here became stressful instead of enjoyable. I will never host another birthday event at Great Wolf Lodge again, and I would strongly caution families against wasting their time and money here for important celebrations.

Review challenge 58/365 Day Challenge…read more We frequently visit UA for casual Play dates or bday celebration either it's for a friend or a mini celebration for my 2 youngest kids, this past year. Especially hearing that there's a new attraction SKYRIDER that opened mid September 2025, my son came here w 2 of his closet bud to celebrate his bday. They were so excited to ride the Skyrider, it's a zip line across partial of the park. I highly definitely recommend this indoor playground. It's probably the best one in OC. We've gone to a lot the past years. This place has so much for your kids to do. Met the manager Terry and Sally. They are both amazing and friendly. Always there to answer your questions and needs. Our school Mabel Paine had a day of fundraising here also. UA loves to support and gives back to the community. Love a friendly oriented company. What's awesome is they now have a security here that I love since it's open. Security really nice. The indoor playground is pretty clean and well taken care of. Love the mascot Urbie. He's also cool with the kids. We are regulars here and definitely plan to return. They have great yearly membership at a great value. Must check it out!

As soon as I walked in everything was decorated/setup as I had requested. Natalie was on top of it all - she reviewed my food order one last time day of to ensure all was accurate (we communicated food allergies and she made sure the right pizza crusts/ orders were in place - Thank you this truly meant a lot) . She was so sweet and attentive she answered all my questions and executed the party flow perfectly. Andre did an amazing job getting my guests checked it and set with wristbands/socks. They both were patient and welcoming! They truly made this such an unforgettable fun, smooth and well organized experience for us! THANK YOU!

It's always clean, there are many decent fast meal options, and it feels relaxing under the palm trees on springy days. Inside, you have so many options to game--from Mario Brothers to Space Invaders. You can fall down a video game rabbit hole here. Also, the bumper cars are lit up and Lazer Tag is calling all players. There's a cafeteria-style "common hall" serving up pizza, nachos, hot dogs, fries, and bevvies. Outside, the bumper boats are a refreshing way to cool down. You can see that the staff works hard at maintaining the grounds. There's always someone working on the many pools and water features when I go. Overall, the greens are in good shape. Sure, a ball may stick, but it's a game. Mulligans and astro turf hiccups are par for this course. Want to practice random kindness? If you see a bottle on the ground, feel free to recycle in the receptacle placed by the tee box. It's nice that they thought to have as many receptacles as they did. It really helps keep the place tidy. The staff is young & laid back yet attentive. One clean sweep across all 4 courses at the opening of each AM shift, however, could help keep it 100% litter-free. See, I warned you--I had nothing but good things to say about Camelot Golfland. Will be back! Once I get the go again from my Sir Lancelot to brave the journey to Anaheim, we'll return for a 6-minute tournament to ride the Go Carts like chariots.
