    Great place to wash my XXL dog and not have to get him in a tub. Sales associates are always helpful and very friendly.

Until today, I have never had any issues. When I arrived to drop off my dog, River, for his grooming appointment, I was told I needed to provide updated rabies vaccination records, which I would have to obtain from my vet. Unfortunately, the vet's office was closed. My groomer, Kayla, explained that she was legally unable to groom him without that information, which I completely understand. I went back to my car, searched my phone for any record, and returned to let them know I did not have it. I also explained that I had not been informed beforehand that his updated rabies information was missing from your records. At that point, another staff member chimed in from the back and very rudely stated that this information had been included in a text. The way she spoke was unprofessional and dismissive. If important information like rabies records is required, it should be clearly communicated in a separate, direct message--not hidden at the bottom of a general confirmation text. Instead of showing understanding or kindness, this employee was disrespectful and showed no sense of customer service. The entire encounter was unpleasant, and I left feeling frustrated. When I spoke with the manager, all I was told was that she would "speak to the employee." That is not enough to address the situation. This experience has completely changed my view of your company, and I will no longer be bringing my business here. It's disappointing to see a place I trusted for years show such a lack of professionalism, courtesy, and basic customer care. I will never return here to any location and I advise nobody else does either. Specifically this address is: 7601 Pineville-Matthews Rd Charlotte NC You've lost a loyal customer and left me with nothing good to share in support. As the rude lady said with a sarcastic rude tone as I left "have a good day" what a joke. If I could give zero stars, I would.

    I took my 15 year old toy poodle to be groomed a couple of weeks ago. The groomer said she was too…read morematted for her 20 inch blade. She said she'd try. I was halfway home when she called me saying she couldn't do it. I said I'd try and she told me I wouldn't be able to. She did have a couple places that looked matted on her hind quarters but hardly any. She had shaved 1/2 of my dog and said she wouldn't charge me but that it was PrtSmart policy not to groom a dog they deem too matted. I gave my dog a bath and low and behold, the so called matting was completely gone! I have a private groomer coming to my home because I want someone I can trust. I was appalled at the PetSmart groomer's handling of my pup. I also told her Bella had warts. I've never had a groomer say she couldn't groom my dog because of the warts, but this groomer said she couldn't see them. I am not the type of person to leave negative reviews, but I feel in this case people with small elderly pets should be forewarned before they take their pets to this grooming practice

The area around the mouth is completely uneven with one side longer than the other. His entire body is cut uneven as well. I was going to go back and have them fix it as soon as I noticed it but why bother? The customer service is decent but the grooming has always been inconsistent, there have been cuts on the ears and I've never left PetSmart thoroughly satisfied. This location is definitely a hard pass.

Recently, I've felt treated differently each time I come in -- as if I'm being judged or assumed I'm not a serious customer. Staff members have limited which puppies we can see, imposed inconsistent rules, and communicated with an unnecessary attitude. Instead of feeling like a family-friendly environment, it feels like you are only treated well if you are ready to purchase immediately. Customer service should be consistent and respectful regardless of where someone is in the buying process. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this location based on how we've been treated.

This client came to me with medical records for the puppy that stated it was fully vaccinated prior to adoption. I don't know what this "puppy boutique" is doing, but they are most definitely NOT "committed to placing happy healthy puppies into loving homes." This place needs to SHUT DOWN.
