Talk about inconvenient. It was laying on the ground but after it cooled, I was able to wrestle it off. Without the muffler, my Saturn sounded like a B52 and therefore undrivable. I immediately called AAA and was promised a tow within 30 minutes. In less time than that, up comes a clean car carrier from Henry's Towing and Mark, the driver. Clean, neat, courteous and polite. He drove my car onto his flatbed and off we went. I drove with Mark in his truck cab. What? No trash? No coffee cups? No, just like you'd keep your home. It was just a tow but done with no pressure and complete efficiency. Mark and I shook hands at the end. Losing your car temporarily is always a chore but if it has to be loaded to a repair shop, Mark and Henry's Towing is a good first bet.

My car was towed for street sweeping; this was my fault, and I can accept that. When I went to retrieve it, I made some complaints about the driver's behavior and was completely brushed off. I continued to voice my complaints and at that point the younger man working made a literal death threat. (The older man was fine, albeit dismissive of the problem) I don't want to hear anything about 'boys being boys' or any of that type of nonsense. You do NOT make threats to anyone, no matter how frustrating you find them. I filed a police report but likely it will be ignored as all these type of interactions are. I feel very unsafe now because this person literally knows where I live. I am posting this as a warning to anyone who has to deal with them. I would welcome contact from the owner of the company, if any other employee attempts to contact me, I will call the police.

Went to ASC since my car's check engine light is on. They told me that it needs oil change. I…read moreagreed, asked them to check the code and diagnose after the oil change. They did change the oil, provided a list of the error codes and cleared the codes. I was charged for $269 for the visit! If I go to anywhere else for oil change, the cost will be $60-70 at most. Bob's explanation is that they use a very expensive computer to read the codes; and the minimum charge is $135. I never knew that any car repair will charge anything for reading and clearing the codes. This is totally a rip-off! Will never go to ASC again!

I have a 2003 honda accord with 120k miles on it so i expect i'll need to have some maintenance done to the vehicle at times. However, when i pulled out of my parking spot one morning there was a huge oil spot underneath my car. Scary. I took the car in for a look. Within about 20 mins Tim had diagnosed the issue, assured me it wasn't that big of deal, and was able to provide me a quote on the service that was more than reasonable. I went to him thinking the worst and that i would be having to either replace the engine or get a new car. Due to my own travel i wasn't able to have my car worked on that week, but Tim was open to communicating with me via text message to set up an appointment to have my car serviced and he even provided a loaner vehicle. (I talk on the phone for a living so if i can do anything via text or email it's a huge bonus for me) Most importantly I felt like i could trust Tim. I hate going to a mechanic and they try take advantage of the fact i know nothing of vehicles and try to get you to pay for services that aren't necessary. I was completely prepared to have other services performed but Tim assured me that if i wasn't having issues with the vehicle they could probably wait and saved me some money in the end. He could have easily put some extra money in the shops pocket but instead he created a repeat customer. Are you particular, fussy even demanding toward the care and maintenance of your vehicle? I can assure you I am very much that way. Just had my Porsche to their shop, so I can say with out reservation that If you want your vehicle repaired properly and to full factory original specifications, look no further, Hollis Auto Body is your shop. I was so happy to have found this great collision repair center staffed full of caring, conscientious and friendly people. They all understand and provide "Fantastic Customer Service" and of course "quality of repair" but from my own personal opinion, ask for Zoey, she will put a smile on your face and confirm just what a great shop this is. FYI...think they might be too far from you, think again and ask for help with a one way rental or flat bed towing. I live 175 mi away and they got me a nice one way rental through Enterprise for $35 bucks... Enterprise picked me up and dropped me off, so conveneient and simple. read more

The whole process was smooth and quick, and the staff were nothing but a delight to work with. My wife's Cayenne GTS was recently scuffed when parked in a lot by someone who drove off. We reported to our insurance and wanted to weigh the cost of filing a claim or paying out of pocket. My wife drove to Hollis Auto Body and had the damage assessed by Ronnie. Ronnie took the car into the shop and polished out some pretty big scrapes in the bumper to the point where it looks like nothing happened! When my wife asked how much she owed for his time, Ronnie would not accept money for his time and wished her well, sending her on her way. Hollis returned my Tesla to showroom condition. I was stopped at a stop sign at a 4-way and a woman entering from the right made a left turn 20 feet too soon!!! (She said the sun was in her eyes!) and hit my right headlight and quarter-panel. USAA Insurance, Hollis, and Tesla all worked together to replace every possible part that even might have been damaged and then some, with not even a collision deductible applied. My car has been hit three times over the last couple of years. I heard about Hollis from a relative and decided to give them a try. Each time things have gone completely smoothly. An actual person answers the phone when you call. If they don't know the answer to your question they say they will call you back and actually do! Ronnie patiently answered all of my questions. Since I moved to Ashland from Chicago, five years ago, this place has saved me bigtime!. I am a teacher in Western Mass who needs to get to my school everyday, and I have had to depend on Hollis Auto Body numerous times. He walked me through exactly what he found, showed me the problem area in person, and flagged that there's an ongoing class action lawsuit related to this issue that I should look into. He also recommended I take the car to Audi for a full inspection to be safe. And he didn't charge me a dime for the visit. It's rare to find someone in this business who is this honest, thorough, and genuinely looking out for the customer instead of just running up a bill. After giving it an oil change and some routine service the shop showed me how bad my front struts were (which I had a feeling were bad). They replaced the struts and all relevant components using OEM parts for what I thought was a very reasonable price. The 10 year old car drives like new again!

They called the day before to go over everything. They had promised me if I dropped it off at 9 AM, they would have it ready by 5/5:30 PM. I dropped it off at 9:40, and they called me that they were done at 1:35! They did everything for free and even did a multipoint inspection for free. When they found stuff that needed to be taken care of, they were happy for me to pick the car up instead of having it done there. They didn't pressure me or swindle me or try to get money out of me. They just did good work quickly and efficiently! I would go there again in an instant if I needed something!
