They are very knowledgeable, kind and patient people. I had a car accident and took my car to this shop. They will help you any way they can. You HAVE TO bring your car to this place instead of other places because I had gone to different shops before for accidents where I experienced horrible times(miscommunication, repair delay, rental car problems) Now I know there is some good people who treat you like you are a family member! read more

Recently picked my car up from Tom's after having some repairs completed. Five star experience across the board. After a small accident, Tom's took the reins and handled everything for me. From coordinating appraisal appointments with insurance, to ensuring I had a rental that suited the needs of my family while the work was performed. The estimated time to complete the project was met to the day and they went over the car with me to explain everything they did. My car looks good as new and I would recommend Tom's to anyone looking for a friendly, reliable, and skilled body shop in the area. read more

Everyone at Tom's Auto Body is so helpful and kind. They worked with my insurance company for me and made the whole process of dealing with my car accident so easy. I highly recommend this place! read more

Avoid this place if at all possible he will rip you off and is shady trying to get rental fees when a rental is not called for(Oh by the way he is also a rental car company big surprise). Total money grab reporting him to Mass Insurance division. He is not to be trusted!!!! Adds damage and is the reason Insurance rates keep going up should be arrested for insurance Fraud!!!!! read more

I have a one year old EV6 that I had a rear end accident. I was very sad about its first damage. Tom and his team was so helpful in getting me through the whole process. Worked with the insurance company to get a supplemental payment for additional damage that was not in the first estimate. The quality of the work was perfect! As good as new. I am so happy with the results! I would recommend anyone to use them. Thanks read more

Had my car towed to Tom's after a bad car accident. They helped me with everything, handled the insurance company and got me a great deal with my totaled car. Super friendly environment and very female friendly with multiple female employees. 10/10 would recommend. read more

After an unfortunate car accident, Tom, Thaiza, Bob, and Cinda guided me through the process of filing my accident claim with my insurance company. They acted on our behalf and negotiated with the insurance company. In addition, we were able to get a rental for the amount of time it took to come to a resolution with the insurance company. We have used Toms Auto body multiple times as a family over the years. I can't say enough, how helpful they have been throughout the entire process. Tom Sr, Cinda and Bob all made the process as smooth as possible. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing honest and quality auto body work done! Johnny E read more

I've used Tom's a number of times over the years. I've also recommended to family and friends. They assist you in completing the auto accident form. They deal with the auto insurance co. and the car adjuster. As you know the insurance company makes money by "lowballing" the payout on the claim. Keeping you in the loop is a high priority they do that too..Tom's fights to get the money to fix everything from the accident. They're very thorough with fixing and painting your car. The paint job is seamless! He's been around forever and stands by his work. Heads up the possibility of having to wait your turn is a high possibility. So many people go there for fixing their auto body issues and accidents. Thanks, Tom for all you do and have done! read more

They told me they would fix my car but needed a month to fix it. When I asked them why so long, they said with the holidays and in case they needed to get parts but that I can rent a car from them at a good rate. I then asked what they needed to do to fix the car and they wouldn't tell me, I then asked what is the cost and they would not say. Be careful with dealing with them, they seem to operate on the less the customer knows the better. read more

Very profesional and caring group of people, from the owner tom, to cinda, to george, and all the rest ofnthe crew, did the impossible to help me with my LR2 issue. Definitely recommend Tom's Auto Body. read more

If you need a body shop, Tom's is where you should go. Auto repairs are traditionally a hassle, but Tom and his team are a full-service, one-stop-shop. They made a difficult process so much easier for us. I am so thankful that I was introduced to the team at Tom's...I will never go anywhere else! read more

Unfortunately I'm a frequent flyer at Tom's. People can't seem to understand that they can't go through my bright red car when I'm stopped at a red light. Working with Tom and his crew is like having family in the business. They did impeccable work repairing my car and advocated for me with my insurance company. They work for their customers--not the insurance company. Don't be fooled into going to a "preferred provider" from your insurance company. That's just code for a business who puts the insurance company's interests first. Do yourself a favor--if you need body work done on your car call Tom before you call your insurance company. They'll walk you through the whole process, and you'll be thrilled with the results. read more

Turned a horrible experience into a great one! We had just purchased a brand new Lexus NX 16, and everything was going great until I smashed it up. I called up my best friend, and he recommended me to Tom's Auto Body, and told me he had been going to Toms forever for his auto body problems and that Tom took care of everything. So I decided to go with his word, and let me tell you it was flawless from the first day to the day of pickup. The service was great, timely, and perfect! People are especially nice here, I had talked to Tom but Bob was my point of contact! I stepped in and they took care of everything! If you don't take my word for it look at my pictures! 5 star rating! read more

Avoid this establishment. The staff seemed ok but unfortunately the owner ruins it. They admittedly made a mistake by doing work to my vehicle before getting consent and the owner would not budge on charging me in full for it and yelled at me over the phone. Avoid at all costs, go anywhere else. read more

I have always brought my vehicles to Tom"s and won't even think about going elsewhere. Tom and staff take care of everything and deal with insurance company so you don't have to. Had an amazing experience at an unfortunate time when my truck was totalled. My insurance company took forever and gave 0 feedback or communication. Cinda and Tom Sr at Tom's Auto Body kept me informed through the whole process and made sure I was not being ripped off by my insurance company. Thanks to them I got an accurate settlement on what my truck was actually worth, not how little the insurance company wanted to pay. Everyone is so professional and knowledgeable about this industry. This is my only go to place for repairs as well. I highly recommend! read more

Phenomenal establishment. I had a accident where my vehicle was a total loss. They represented me against my own insurance company to make sure I got the full value of my car reimbursed to me. Tom's got me more then a thousand dollars more then the original insurance offering. I haven't had them do body work for me personally, but my brother has several times. He told me that they do excellent work and in a timely fashion. read more

Unbelievably wonderful service here. I came to Toms auto body for repairing my car. They take care of everything the minute you walk in to the shop. As a customer, the worst thing you experience is that you have to handle work, life and your car accident. Tom's took care everything for me. And I can't thank them enough for that. They provide the best service according to what your needs are. They do extremely well in handling claim, negotiate with insurance company, repairing and body work. Tom's is wonderful! They are good at what they do and strive to do right by their customers as far as dealing with the insurance companies. I got in an accident and the first auto-body shop I took it to refused to even asses the car repairs once declared totaled by the insurance companies. I took it to Tom's and it was a different story! They repaired it so well there is no way to tell that I had an accident let alone it was totaled, everyone that sees their work on my car is very impressed at how beautiful it looks again! The also handled almost all of the dealings with the insurance company which made my life so much easier since I had so much to worry about due to the accident. They even made sure that I got the true value of my car I from the accident settlement, and I seriously doubt that I would have gotten as much on my own. They were very straight-forward with me and kept me up to date with what was going on and even made the effort to explain all the damage to my car in a way that even I could understand. They were a 45 minute drive from where I live but more than worth all the driving I had to do. They really go above and beyond! Best Auto Body Shop Ever! read more

I've had two cars that were totaled in accidents that were 10 years apart. Tom's staff took excellent care of me both times. Tom's auto body has always been my preferred repair shop. They repaired the bumper on my last vehicle and did an outstanding job. The quality of work is impeccable and the staff is extremely friendly and what you would expect from a family owned business. Tom and his staff helped me with my most recent car which was unfortunately totaled. They went out of their way and made sure that things were done properly. In the end they went to bat for me and got the most amount of money for my vehicle. They helped me make accommodations as the entire process was extremely long and daunting because of the insurance agencies. I highly recommend Tom's for all of your auto body needs. This was my first accident and I never knew how Long and arduous the process is; I couldn't have done it without them, thank you Tom's ! read more

Tom's Autobody and staff are experts that guide you through the process of an accident. Start here before you file your claim. They are counsel in assessing the damage and writing the accident reports, then send it off to your insurance company. The insurance appraisers then see your vehicle on site with their mechanics, to insure a drive by appraisal doesn't happen. I have witnessed driveby appraisals and they literally don't get out of the car, snapped a picture at the end of my driveway, and kept driving. How does that help me? Hidden damage and replacement options are uncovered at Tom's. The outcome is restoring your car, or a total, but always a learning event in consumer protection. Their staff experience is unparalleled, and they will sign on to deal with all communication and negotiations with the insurance company, and lift all worries off your shoulders. There is no reason to go anywhere else. read more

We've been a customer of Tom's since 1995 or so. We've had a few vehicles repaired there and one or two totalled. They help you from start to finish, consult with the reports, provide a good rental and coffee as well. Every car has been repaired to new or better condition. They deal with the insurance sharks for you so you don't have a busted up car in your driveway and have to take time off to meet the adjustor. I've referred them to many happy friends and even though there are other quality shops nearby I have no reason to go anywhere else. As you can see by their numerous thank yous they are involved with the community also. read more

TJ (Tom, Jr) and his family have always taken exceptional care of me, my family, my friends and anyone else that's brought their car in. Their professionalism, attention to detail and flawless repairs are just the start. It's really their true sense of caring for their customers that sets them apart. I can't remember the number of times someone told me about their auto-body work that was done, and mid-way through their story found out that it was Tom's that took care of them. There's a reason they get so many referrals, not just from the insurance company, but from their past customers. read more

I was rear-ended one morning and my insurance agent suggested that I contact Tom's Auto Body of Ashland about the repair. I was able to drive the car to Tom's. I knew nothing about how one handles this situation. I am happy to say that I still know very little. Tom and his staff handled every thing including the police report, the coordination with two insurance companies and their agents, dealing with the adjuster, providing me a replacement car on the spot, and negotiating a payoff when the insurance company declared it to be "totalled". I recommend that whenever any negotiations are required, let Tom do it. We settled for a higher figure than I would have ever thought my car to be worth. His office runs like a finely tuned Formula A racer. Everything is done for you. Fast, efficient, and complete. You are made to feel comfortable and confident that all is going to go as well for you in this situation as could be expected. I had previously had Tom do some body work on another car and I want you to know that the quality of his work satisfied my wife in every respect. That is a much more significant achievement than scoring 5 Stars. read more
