As echoed here by several reviews, Hollingsworth is terrible with communication and honoring their commitment to putting customers first. Having been advised that I would receive communication via text with periodic updates on my repair; unfortunately, this was not carried out. Had it not been for my vehicle app notifications, calling regularly, and having contacted my insurance company (who was provided an update at length), one should not have to beg for updates on their vehicle. While I understand hiccups may affect the completion dates, part availability, holiday closures, etc; their effort to communicate would garner the confidence necessary to recommend them to either friends or family for auto work.  To add insult to injury, before picking up my vehicle my app advised that the fuel was now empty at zero (0) miles to empty. While checking out, I spoke with the receptionist and inquired if the fuel would be replenished or reimbursed, I was met with a dismissive and condescending response, "Well, it wasn't much in there, to begin with". Be that as it may, it was still 34 miles to empty when the vehicle arrived for repair and I expected it to be replenished. read more

NOT RECOMMENDED....Whoever worked on my car did a jack leg job. The 1st time I attempted to pick up my car the bumper had two places where the paint was chipped because the tech didn't allow the paint to dry before putting it back together. The bumper had to be repainted a second time. When I picked up my car, the gas light was on and I had to drive straight to a service station. I had at least a quarter of a tank of gas when I originally dropped off my car. A couple of months later when my husband was putting air in the tire he noticed places on both sides where the bumper was not attached properly underneath. It was obviously so I know the tech had to see it. I called the shop and left a couple of messages for my estimator, Ashley, without getting a response. I asked if someone else could make me an appointment for the 3rd problem with the repairs and was told I had to speak to Ashley. The next time I called her voicemail was full. I drove to the shop several days later and was told by Ashley that she had not checked her messages. She was at lunch so I waited. Ashley took the car to the tech and had the bumper adjusted but the experience was awful. In rating my experience, ithe score dropped from 2 to 1, then to ZERO. I shared this review with my Allstate agent who recommended Hollingsworth because he was falsely under the impression that this company was one of the best. read more

I was looking to get an estimate on some collision work and they told me they could not even look at the car until the end of June -- five weeks from now. Waited 7 weeks on what I was told was an 18 day job. Spent more money on the rental car than the actual repair itself (Which I ended up not paying for because they were taking so long and I had to move out). Apparently, a part was on back-order, which, understandable, these things happen. The reason for the one star is that they added many more things that needed to be repaired that they didn't touch on during the 7 weeks my car was there, and according to the supplemental, they had those parts in house! Never updated me, my insurance company, or the rental car company (which they said they would be in constant contact). Was forced to beg for information over the phone, and then be told they would call be back later in the day with an answer, which they never did. Got called "sweetheart" and "baby" over the phone while being explained what a "business-week" was. All while trying to get an accurate date of when my car would be fixed. I ended up asking to take the car back and get it repaired in the state that I was moving to, only to find out, they never touched it and still planned on charging me. Not good service, horrible communication, save your money and find somewhere else. read more

Hollingsworth Auto staff are always helpful and respectful. My car and truck always looks great after I have used their service. They have a nice waiting area. As a bonus, they honor the Vietnam Vets and their loved ones during the St Patrick's Day parade even when it wasn't "in" to honor this portion of our vets. Salute to our veterans! read more

Honestly wish I could leave them no stars . I brought my van in a month ago , Alex told me he can get the job done . Parts were on back order so It took 2 weeks for them to come in . Now that they have come he calls me and tell me he can't finish the job because he can't fit it into the paint room. I asked if he can just fix my van because all auto body shops are on a 2 week wait to even get in there . He refused . Complete and utter disappointment . I went into Hollingsworth for a side-mirror replacement. This was the shop choice of the person who hit my car and was gracious enough to pay for the damages. Service was relatively fast on my car. It took a little longer to get the part in then they originally estimated, but it was no big deal. The service guy was friendly and gave us all of the appropriate parts options to fix the mirror. The actual mirror replacement took about 30 minutes. My only real complaints about this place are the hours and the reception. This shop is only open 8-5 Monday-Friday....which is exactly when many people are at work. I had to take time off of work twice to get my mirror replaced. As for the receptionist, she is a bit rude on the phone and in person. She is also not knowledgeable about the other staff or the work being done there. Overall: they do good work as long as you have the time. read more

Went in to get a quote for repairs needed on a BMW. The receptionist (Linda) was extremely rude and had refused to give a quote or do any work as I have already purchased OEM parts. So, if you want to purchase quality parts do not use this establishment. read more

Never go here. someone recommended to get work done to my car at this location. It took over a month to fix a simple part. After renting a car and spending a bunch of money on gas and rental fees, i returned back to find out it is going to cost me 2x as much as they said at first. It was only a tire and wheel. They said it was coming from in the gulf coast. Turns out, after going online i found out the company is out west. Sorry nut never going back. read more

DON'T GO HERE. They needed 5 days to repair the damaged fender to my mustang. Understandable. Monday - Friday Weekends they don't work, So assuming the car was painted Friday, that's 3 days counting monday for the paint to cure. They needed an extra day because the door handle broke so they did the right thing fixed it and painted a new handle. I pick up the vehicle WEDNESDAY- I get told Oh by the way, they still haven't put the stripe on the running board of the right door because it just got painted 48 hours ago and we'll have you reschedule and bring the car in friday. How does a auto service that prides themself on perfection and elite service expect me to drive off with my car half-ass done ? If it only took 10mins to put the stripe on, why didn't it get done Monday and the car be finished Wed. ? To top it off, When I get my vehicle back the damn gas light is on. Now, They did agreat job of NOT recording the starting milage and gas when the car was handed over. But I know for DAMN sure I had a quarter tank of gas in that car, and got it back on E. Test drive the mustang with slight fender damage ? I don't buy it. Half-assed. read more

We never completed repair service with this entirely poorly run company. The staff was rude, talked over the customer and have an extensive wait time for auto repair. Somehow 4-6 week wait for even a minor repair is acceptable to this company and they utilized all 4 days our insurance company would allow for what should be a 2 day repair max. We have never experienced such a poor customer service where the coordination of service and customer appreciation was grossly missing. The staff stated to us they have glowing reviews and have been in business over 100 years when we addressed the service. Well, based on our research (please see ALL available reviews on line-several 1/5) and whether in service briefly or veterans in this business - it is inexcusable to be rude, mislead customers (we were told a date for repair but then apparently not coordinated into their computer system on their end and we were moved to the end of the line, informed we can't cut others in line despite the fact that we had an appt they didn't enter in their system-1 month delay added here) and use their longevity as an excuse for running a company as poorly as we witnessed. Never going back! Although the body and paint techs did a fine job on the repairs, the fact that it took two months to do a job that should have taken two weeks at most just killed it for me. I also have an issue with their attention to detail. I got my vehicle back and pointed out a few things to the estimator such as paint being burned in which, for those of you who don't know, is when the new clear coat is melted into the old using a very slow reducer and it is 100% guaranteed to to peel but they were fine with this. I also pointed out some plastic caps that were missing. It was blatantly obvious that they were yet the estimator seemed to be oblivious to the fact that they existed. When you do this every day you know when these things are supposed to be there...trust me. When I got home and looked closer I noticed that the rock guard decals were completely jacked up with finger prints all over the back sides of them and crooked. I also noticed that my right headlight was out and upon inspection realized that the battery had been jarred loose during the accident and slammed into the back of the light busting the plug and bending the prongs on the light. They replaced the front bumper and never saw this, regardless, you never send a car out without checking all the lights! I've since fixed these things myself, had I gone back the shop would likely have fixed them for me but that's not the point! I gave them two stars because the craftsmanship was there and I don't want to take away from that but literally everything else is lacking. read more
