They did get the windshield installed fast and even remembered my rain sensor, that the last safelite forgot about and threw away, costing me $200... I got new wiper blades too, which seem pretty good. But the glass all over the inside and outside of the car is just not cool. At least vacuum it out with a shop vac so people aren't sitting on glass.

My insurance company recommended me going to Safelite but after reading their horrible reviews I felt like if I went and something bad happen to my car it was my own fault. After searching around and comparing google and other fellow Yelper reviews I discovered Coastal Glass Works. I explained my situation and how I needed to have my front windshield replaced and a possible recalibration and that my insurance would be covering the cost and would they be able to help me. The lady on the phone was super helpful and friendly and let me know the process I first needed to take with my insurance before they could take the job. After contacting my insurance CGW reached back out to me the same day to set up my appointment for that Friday. We ended up having to move it to the following week due to Ian. Gotta love hurricanes! I'm busy during the day and don't have the availability to do a drop off or wait at home for them to come out to me. Which would be a bonus for someone else that may not be able to make a shop visit. They had told me 8-8:30 for Friday morning. I arrived on time and was greeted right off by a wet overly excited brown lab and the owner. There was one person in front of me but I appreciated that he acknowledged that I was waiting and let me know he would be right with me. The front room is small but roomie with seating to the left and a DIY Pinterest desk... I ended up waiting for them to complete the install. I enjoyed learning more about the owner and his sister and I had puppy kisses and snuggles while I waited. The back shop area where the restroom is located is clean and organized. They had me in and out in about 2hr and three other people came and went while I was there with small repairs or fixes but I never felt like they weren't taking care of me. The end result... I no long have a U shape crack in my vehicle and it looks great! The owner went over the paperwork with me which wasn't much considering my insurance was handling it and showed me my new windshield and explained care instructions everything to me. They vacuumed all the glass out of my car and clean my windows. Bonus considering I haven't washed my car in weeks! Lol I highly recommend them for their customer service, follow up and work. I did get a quote on what it would have been if I paid out of pocket. And considering that if Ian hadn't come and they could have gotten me in the same week. It was a overall great deal!

I told him I had oil leaking in my spark plugs and can he replace the valve cover seal, he quoted me 520 and said I must pay upfront before any work is done to the car. so I gave my friend the money to give to him because I can't do it myself due to me being in ny. so I come to find out the engine don't work so im out of 520 dollars. He told me since my sparks plugs don't work he had to replace them and I had to pay for the hour to install. I don't understand how that's a separate hour from the valve seal job when it should have been looked at when he had to change the leak going into the spark plug . he quoted me 250 for that job due to the 4 spark plugs being 120 an he took a hour install another 120. I felt very mad as it seem like a money grab to me because that could have been done the same time as the valve seal. after going back and forth he said I have to pay194 that's the best he can do. he also said he could of charged me to put a battery in my car and you know he charges by the hour so that would of been another 120. To add insult to injury after paying those high prices my car was returned to me with with tools and rags Inside the hood ,Parts of my car not put back where they belong. I have never felt insulted like that ever. for people that took a lot of money from me they didn't have the respect to put anything back
