    Missing clips on my engine.

    CARma Auto Care: A nightmare experience! Where do I even start with this horrible service experience that I've had at CARma auto care. I brought my vehicle in to have an oil change, brake pads replaced, and the spark plugs changed. I dropped the vehicle off at 8 AM on Monday, September 16, 2024. Usually before a mechanic does any work they perform a diagnostic and approve the prices and the services with you. CARma auto care did not do that. CARma performed a diagnostic on my vehicle well also completing an unauthorized oil change for $126.26. Oil changes for my Subaru Crosstrek can be performed at Valvoline or Take 5 for around $80. When I called to authorize and deny services on the diagnostic report at 10am, I decided I did not want to perform an oil change and was told that it had already been completed and I would be charged for it. I then approved the spark plugs service ($352.55), rear wiper blades ($16.84), engine air filter ($81.40) for a grand total of $577.06, including the unauthorized oil change for $126.26. I then waited to be contacted that my vehicle was ready to pick up. CARma auto care closes at 5pm and by 4pm I still had not received any communication. I called Carma auto care and was told they "forgot to tell me my car was ready because they are short staffed." I picked up my car at 4:30pm and paid my invoice. I arrived back at my apartment at 5pm and later that day around 6:30pm I went to start my car and it started and immediately turned off. I started the vehicle again and it immediately turned off. The 3rd time it started up just fine. In the 2 days since their service my car now starts and immediately turns off at least 2x before running properly. I had my battery tested at AutoZone today and my battery is 100% charged. While at AutoZone I discovered that I am also now missing various clips on my air intake mounts. I called CARma auto care on September 18, 2024 to explain the issues I was experiencing. I was told to bring my vehicle in to the shop so they can perform another diagnostic. When I walked in to the office I explained that I was very disappointed in the service and before bringing my vehicle to CARma auto care I have never experienced the starting issues I am now experiencing. The lady at the front desk threatened that if they found something wrong not related to their service work I would be charged a diagnostic fee of $160 & my car may not be serviced that day. I have never before experienced a front desk so unprofessional and rude. I am now taking my vehicle to the Subaru dealership to have mistakes made by CARma mechanics properly diagnosed and addressed. I would give their service 0 stars if that were possible. Do not bring your car here unless you want their mechanics to lose mounting clips on your engine and create more work for you when you have to take it to the dealership to fix their mistakes.

I would hear the rattling for a few minutes till the vehicle warmed up, then it went away. The 2nd time it happened, the transmission had difficulty leaving park and going into reverse. I called the Lincoln dealership in Savannah as the owner of this mobile service made it clear, he was not interested in continuing our relationship based on previous interaction. JC Lewis Lincoln said the transmission was 2 QUARTS LOW on transmission fluid and that the procedure for post startup and lubricating the planetary gears didn't seem to be followed, which I can confirm, the vehicle was NOT driven per the Lincoln dealership requirements. It is now obvious to me, that the Lincoln Procedure for transmission fluid flush was NOT followed and it is probable that the tech did not know what was required and by extension is NOT CERTIFIED to work on a Lincoln. I am fortunate to catch this HUGE and unacceptable mistake and have it rectified before severe consequences. CAUTION: BUYER BEWARE.

I'm a chick and most people are going to roll their eyes at a review on a mechanic shop by a chick. But! I used to be a jet mechanic on F16's in the Air Force, soooo I'm not completely wet behind the ears when it comes to maintenance and tools. But I digress, let's get on with this review. First impressions: excellent. Dan took my numerous phone calls, was very professional, courteous, answered all my questions and accepted my drop order of rear rotors and brakes for my Lexus. Trinity Motor Sports shop: clean, comfortable, with a tv and several car magazines to keep a customer busy, and had water and coffee to boot. Service: excellent, my car was done in less than an hour, I did however drop it off right at 1000 when they opened (Saturday hours). Vehicle performance: brakes and rotors are smooth as silk now, AND I still have my locking lug key (yes, people have forgotten to give it back) cough cough "Lexus" Anywhoo, I'm usually doing my own work on my car, but this time I needed the job done while I was out of town. I now know where I can go "if" I ever have any issues with my car while working in Savannah. Dan, thank you for working on my "baby" I LOVE my Lexus and I trust very few people with working on her.

    Dropped off my Jeep Wrangler on or around February 19 for service and handed the keys to the shop…read moreafter parking directly in front. At the time, my vehicle had a custom engraved bullet antenna installed valued around $200-$300. When I picked the vehicle up later the same day, the antenna was gone. After reviewing my dash cam footage, it clearly shows the antenna on the vehicle when I left my residence and drove directly to the shop. After leaving the shop, I stopped at a car wash where their entry photos show the antenna was already missing. I contacted the shop to try to resolve the issue, but was told their security footage does not go back far enough and they declined responsibility. I'm not accusing anyone directly, but the antenna disappeared while the vehicle was in their possession. Just sharing my experience for transparency so other customers are aware.
