Yesterday, June 1, 2026, I contacted Grainger Nissan regarding my interest in purchasing a new 2026 Nissan Frontier Pro 4XR, which is the Roush Edition. I spoke with a white male on the phone who stated he was in internet sales. He said he had two Metallic Gray ones on the lot for me to look at. We chatted for a moment and I indicated to him I was also looking at the Ford Ranger Raptor. After discussing my interest in performance trucks we set up a time to come into the dealership the next day at 11:00 a.m. for me to look at the Pro 4XR's he had in stock. The sales person said he would have the vehicle ready and moved to the front of the dealership by the time I got there, I immediately scheduled my entire day's activities around this appointment and today, June 2nd, drove the almost 40-mile trip to the Grainger Nissan in Savannah. Upon arrival I was met at the door by a black sales person....I believe his name was Wally. I explained to him why I was there. He seemed a bit confused, but invited me inside and eventually told me to wait while he went to "get the keys" for the vehicle in which I was interested. After waiting for several minutes Wally returned and told me that the vehicles in which I was interested was still on the transport truck in the back and had yet to be unloaded and prepped. He asked me to wait once more while he again departed and left me in the showroom. Wally eventually returned and this time apologetically informed me that they did not have any Nissan Frontier Pro 4XR's on their lot at all. He then told me that Pro 4XR's were special order only and were not usually stocked at dealerships. Of course I had done my homework and know this is certainly not true since there were an abundance of those vehicles on hand at other dealerships within driving distance. Bottom line, this was a completely wasted day....a complete waste of my time and money ....because of fraudulent information and misrepresentation provided me by Grainger Nissan of Savannah. I have purchased vehicles in the past from the Grainger family. In fact my current vehicle, a 2023 NIssan Frontier Pro 4X, was purchased from Grainger Nissan and I most recently purchased a 2025 Honda Accord Hybrid Touring from Grainger Honda. To experience the kind of total failure I experienced from them today is unacceptable and most unprofessional. I will certainly take my auto buying business elsewhere. read more

I accidentally missed my oil change/tire rotation appointment today and a little less than an hour later, I got a phone call from a number I didn't know. When I answered, I immediately heard "where are you at?" - wondering who would be calling me like that and being so rude, I thought it was a spam caller. Within 2 seconds they repeated themselves and said "this is Kim from Grainger Nissan, where are you at?" That's unacceptable. You don't call me talking rude. I hung up. When the phone rang again from the same number, I ignored it. 5 minutes later, I get a text saying "Hey it's Kim from Grainger... I was just messing with you.." My phone just rang again from a different number, and I didn't answer it either. I would rather just not. If you want this kind of rude customer service, go see them. Scheduled for two service items and they only completed one -- supposed to get an oil change and replace the drive belt. They did not even note that I requested an oil change despite confirming it 3 times with 3 different people including when I arrived at the appointment. I went to Grainger Nissan on Chatham Parkway on Friday, November 19, 2021 to have maintenance and a recall performed on my Nissan Murano. I was advised it would take about 2.5 hours to complete the work. I waited about 3 hrs before receiving notification that the work was completed. When I went to pick up my car they had not performed the recall or synced my second key as I requested. When I asked why I was told the recall takes 4 hours, but I had previously been told it would take an hr. I called back on Mon Nov 21 and asked to have the service Mgr call me. He hasn't called yet. Customer service is important to me, and I certainly didn't receive any. This is where I purchased my Nissan, but if this how they treat customers, I have no desire to return. read more

I went here several years ago but I've never reviewed my experience. My car was having troubles on my way to NC. I stopped and it turned out my transmission was having problems and it was going to cost more than I even owed on my car. When I brought it in to get it checked out first if all in the maintenance area, the employees were so rude to me especially in a time where I was very clearly upset about my situation. Then I went inside and decided I might as well get a new car since I was basically stranded in a whole state I don't live in. The employees were all extremely insensitive and then made me feel dumb the whole time. I regret buying my car and wish I would not have had to deal with anyone here. I do not recommend. read more

I was immediately greeted by Chandler Bennett when I arrived to the dealership. He was pleasant and ready to help me in anyway that he could. He immediately found the car, had it pulled around and took us for a test drive. He was very knowledgeable about the car and about Grainger Nissans' policies and guarantees. Right after the test drive, I walked in there and bought the car. Chandler was very personable and helpful. I would recommend him to any person who's looking for a new or used car. He puts you at ease and is the antithesis of a sleazy car salesman. The rest of the staff was really great as well especially the finance guy which unfortunately his name has slipped my mind. I purchased a barely used 2018. I was greeted by the Sales Manager who put me in touch with a Salesperson who knew the vehicle I wanted. From the curb, these guys showed professionalism and courtesy. I never felt rushed at all. I was allowed to ask all sorts of questions (as a single woman buying a truck), and never made to feel silly. The test drive process and explanations of the warranties were very clear. I worked with Shawn Heyward, who was smart, upbeat, upfront and made me feel relaxed about a big expenditure. Heck - the whole team made it fun! When I came in the next day to sign on the dotted line, I met additional staff in service and finance and experienced the same gracious treatment. Usually my visits are great; however the last two visits I felt like my service advisors were rushed and did not invest enough time in making sure I understood what was going on. I was in on 9/20 for an oil change and check engine light. Once the diag was completed, Garris told me I needed break pads. I approved the break pads. My car came back to me and the check engine light was still own. When I asked about it I was told it had something to do with my gas. P0488 I think was the code it was giving them. I could not be given a price because no one took the time to see what the problem was, even though I was there because of the check engine light. I was told that it's not a big deal, your car will be fine to drive. Fast forward I took my car back to get the check engine light taken care of. Well all it needed was a software upgrade. Now at this point was confused, because I feel like if that was all it needed why was it not taken care of the first time I was in. You charged me $135 just to do an upgrade. read more

I was here for a service appointment on my vehicle. I did not purchase my vehicle here, but since moving to the area this was the closest service location. I've never had a huge problem here, everything is normally done in a timely fashion, everyone is friendly and helpful. The waiting area is nice, usually stocked with nutragrain bars, chips, fruit, popcorn, coffee, and during the lunch hour they have hot dogs (I would never eat them as they are on a hot dog roller machine and those gross me out after I witness one in my youth continually rolling a hot dog over a dead fly lol). I did witness them cleaning the machine thoroughly with a Clorox wipe, which I'm not sure is proper since believe it or not you are supposed to wash your hands immediately after using those and/or wear gloves... but hey they were cleaning it with something and it's not like hot dogs aren't already full of chemicals! I was a tad disappointed this time the nutragrain bars were not stocked as it was an earlier appointment and I skipped breakfast from waking up late to make it on time (but that is my own fault, not theirs, I was just bummed they weren't stocked like they have been the last few times I'd been there)... coffee and popcorn for the win to make up for it! Lol Anyhow, enough about the waiting area and food since this is a dealership/service location. I, again, have never had an issue with anyone here, they have always been pleasant and friendly. It was difficult to make an appointment this time. I called, was transferred to a voicemail, wait until the next day, and still had I returned call. So I called back, was transferred, places on hold for over 5 minutes, then promptly hung up on. I guess third time is a charm as when I called back again and said "please I just want to make an appointment to service my vehicle!!!" I finally got scheduled. My only other gripe is they totally mess up my seat settings. I get if you have to move it back a bit if you are taller than me, but I got into my car this time and they had moved it back, messed with the back of the seat, and lowered it. Just frustrating as it takes me a few days to get it back to where I was comfortable (maybe I'm a bit more complicated when it comes to how I like my seat lol). Also, I have the service plan on my vehicle, that may make a difference in what I experience with the service ie trying to be talked into things I don't need. This was my first time ever coming to nissan. I just got a 2010 armada nissan. Everyone was very nice. And they went over what was needed on my car and of course we discovered my warranty covers what I need to repair. Yeah!!!! Very little out of pocket expense for me. They also washed my car. Took the time to put in the paper floor mats and plastic covers on my seats so not to get them dirty. We waited in the waiting area. Nice they have snacks and water free. Talk about switch and bait , first I fill out a on line application for a 16 year old car , that was in really good shape , and after I fill it out it comes back that I can have it for no money down trade in my 2004 Nissan Altima for 600.00 and pay 137.00 for 36 months , I'm like I can go that , so I make an appointment to meet up with Larry to finish up the application, I get my neighbor to take me all the way to Savannah to get this car , I get there and I'm bum rushed by a salesman and other salesman are yelling at this guy who came out and held his hand out for a hand shake right away he starts asking me all kinda of questions and I tell him I want to talk to Larry who I talked to on the phone , Larry made me feel good about coming in to do this deal , I then get told he's not a salesman that I have to deal with chandler a young man that talks really fast , he starts doing paper work to check my credit which was done on line already , now I don't have good credit I admitted this on the on line application, he then asks me if there is someone who I can add to this application and we add Ronda to the application and she has no credit history for the past 7 years just like me , after a deep conversation chandler says I can't have the car cause of my lack of credit history , but they can get me into a 2019 Nissan Versa for 1000.00 down and 450.00 a month , now keep in mind I came there to pick up a used car that was way over priced being it was 16 years old I think it was around 4225.00 but I was willing to do it cause they were going to work with me on this 16 year old ford , when I told them again that we live on a fixed income and we can't do more then 200.00 and no down payment only the trade in , they tell me there's nothing they can do , so I wasted 3 hrs of my day with this company that knew my situation before I ever came in , but I was told that they could get me into the 16 year old ford , so all this did was prove you can't trust a car salesman or a car dealership that has been around forever all they want to do is get you in there and push you into a car you don't want or can afford, so take warning Granger Nissan of Savannah Ga is not a honest or trustworthy business, I did find a place that was willing to work with me , I now am waiting for it to be delivered and they will pick up my Altima, I am the proud owner of a 2004 40th anniversary Ford Mustang , that is in great shape and it's a convertible 6 cylinder, just goes to show you when a salesman says you can't get a car , don't give up do your research and keep going you will succeed, I know I did , stay away from Granger Nissan of Savannah Ga read more

My 2002 Nissan Maxima was having issues starting so I called Grainger at 5pm and tried to schedule an appointment. Them service side was closing at 5:30 but the gentleman (Gree) in charge of booking told me to bring my car in up until 6:30 since he was staying late that day. Also my windows were stuck in the down position so he let me park my car inside the garage in a very secure place. They were so accommodating. They were quick to call in the morning and gave me a fair estimate. I had my car back by 3pm with everything working as it should. Dear Grainger Nissan, I don't even know if this going to fall on deaf ear but my name is Savan Patel and I recently serviced my 2010 Nissan GTR at your location. I am profoundly disappointed about the service I have received. First I come in for a diagnostic and oil change. Until I drop off my car and leave they tell me that the only person certified to work on my car will not be in until Thursday when I dropped my car off Monday. So I let that go Shannon who "helped" me more like robbed me ended up telling me such and such is wrong with my car totaling my bill up to north of $3500.00. In this process I had to pay for a part that the mechanic broke but didn't get a proper explanation when checking out. Yes I had to pay for my normal diagnosis and getting it fixed but I came in there with a request to turn of the flat tire light in my car WHICH AFTER PICKING MY CAR UP AFTER 2 week, IT WAS NOT COMPLETED. I pay my bill and am handed my keys to walk to my car and I get in the car and MY CAR DOES NOT TURN ON. I am no mean a car expert but that mean they left something on in the car as new car batteries don't die after 1-2 days of work being completed. The guy offers to do a battery test which comes back fine as it will but someone did not care enough to turn whatever they turned on in my car. Then he addresses me saying he tried to turn the flat tire light in the car off and out of frustration I leave because this is ONE of the 3 points I had address when giving my car in the first place. The man said oh yeah you have to pay for the sensor. Without making a scene I left . You guys had my car 2 weeks didn't even offer a loaner one time and then tell me I have to pay for the sensor which I came to get anyway. Now I'm not rich so I need my car back for transportation and who knows if I gave my car for a tire sensory you guys might keep it two weeks and run my bill up again. I'm am so disappointed with how I was treated and will never be coming back. I will be leaving reviews on where ever I can because you guys have not cared for my business in the slightest. I know it's a family owned business and I've met the owners a few times, they seem like very positive up beat people and very involved in their business.
