We went here to purchase a car, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. They ran our credit multiple times--around 30 inquiries, according to what we were told--only to turn us down because they wanted us to put $10,000 down. What was especially frustrating is that they only submitted our application to Ford Motor Credit and did not appear to make any effort to work with other banks or lenders. The financing department was not helpful or transparent throughout the process. Based on our experience, I felt the financing process was very questionable and left me extremely disappointed. I bring my car here for maintenance often. Their waiting area isn't too bad, there are coffee and water options which are cool. I normally sit at a table and get work done. They normally start by sending you a video of your car before it goes in the shop too. As with most car places, they try to upsell you on packages and things to do, but if you know what you're looking for and know what you're talking about, you should be good. Most recently, I had to get new tires. They didn't have the option I needed, but had them delivered from another location. I also had a recall, which they fixed, and was set to get a multi-point inspection. There was a lot of time spent, and I lot of driving for me since there was a gap in time between when my appointment was set and when the tires would arrive. Because of this, I didn't get a multi point inspection. Not the worst, but that was the main reason why I like going to this location - the tires were something I've been putting on the back burner. Bathrooms are clean and staff is friendly. I prefer the pooler location because of distance, but they only have a fast lane, and can't do more in depth car maintenance. My recent experience at JC Lewis Ford was unfortunately one of the worst dealership experiences I've had. This was going to be my third vehicle purchase from them, so I came in expecting a straightforward process. Instead, the experience felt disorganized and unprofessional from start to finish. The salesperson seemed unfamiliar with the vehicle's features and couldn't answer several basic questions. It also became clear the truck had previously been used as a loaner, which was not clearly disclosed upfront. When I returned to sign the paperwork, things got worse. I had texted the sales manager earlier that morning and he told me to come in and that he would personally review everything with me. When I arrived, he didn't remember me at all and I waited over 20 minutes before he briefly appeared and told me I would be sent to finance instead. While waiting for finance, I decided to go get my trade-in and leave because the process felt so chaotic. I then discovered my vehicle had already been stripped down, even though the deal wasn't finalized. I had to wait another 20 minutes just to get my license plate back. I was also told I was "lucky to get financing," which was surprising considering I was trading in a vehicle worth more than half the value of the new purchase and paying the rest in cash. I wish buying a car as a woman was easy... but sadly, it's not. I didn't have a smooth experience buying my car through J.C. Lewis. I found a car I really wanted and was told it was available -- only to discover it was actually in the service department. At first, they said it was just a routine check-up since it had just been listed. Later, I learned it was actually a transmission issue. I was told I could trade in my car and have the new one within a couple of days... but that turned out to be completely wrong. It dragged on for weeks with constant promises like, "It'll be ready by Wednesday" or "It'll be ready by Saturday." When they finally told me to come in, I traded in my 4Runner and paid my deposit, only to be told my new car wouldn't be ready until Saturday because it still needed to be detailed. Saturday came and went -- with no update at all. When I followed up, I was told it was still in service. At that point, I'd had enough. After talking to a few people, they agreed it sounded suspicious that the dealership was still working on the transmission. Many advised me to either get my 4Runner back or look elsewhere. Since I'd already signed paperwork, I ended up finding a different car with them and switched from a 2020 to a 2024 model. I do want to say the finance manager -- whose name I unfortunately can't remember -- was wonderful to work with. TLDR: Bought a car with fleas, and Apple Car play calling was not functioning. Luckily managed to reverse the deal. Immediately upon asking for info on the car the salesmen told me another buyer was coming to look at the car first and that I had to beat him to the dealership and arrive as soon ad they opened the next day. Mind you I live in Charleston which is a 2 hour drive. Then the next day they told me to hold off and were constantly switching back and forth on if I should come or not and if I would be able to get the car. The car was a used 2019 Chevy Camaro from this dealership. The purchase went smooth other than them not accepting a paid in full money wire as a form of payment and telling me I had to take a loan for the car if I wanted it that day. Upon returning home to Charleston I found fleas in the car and that Apple Car Play would make a horrible tapping noise on the call receiver's end which essentially made this standard feature unusable. Considering the car only had 17,000 miles and cost $25,000 this is completely unacceptable! When I called the dealership they said they would have both problems taken care of at a local Ford dealership to me as apart of their Certified Blue Pass program. They then had me call 2 separate dealerships to schedule an appointment only for me to hear that they don't work on Chevys. The Flea problem was never addressed by the dealership either other than telling me they would have it cleaned. This lasted for 6 days of constant calling and begging to find out what they were doing to fix my problem! All of this was through the salesman that sold me the car and was never brought up to higher management. Eventually after getting fed up I managed to get a hold of a manager after being ignored twice and hung up on once. The manager told me to bring the car back to Savannah and that they would give me a loaner truck while they fixed the problems. At this point I could not trust then anymore and I brought the car back and took back my trade in vehicle which luckily I did not have to reregister as the bank never picked up the title from them. I then learned days later from the finance manager that the car was being looked at by another customer 1 day later and that a salesman said I probably didn't know how to use the radio (I'm 22 btw so lol). All in all this experience was exhausting and horrible and through no fault of my own cost me time money and energy and the loss of my dream car. If this dealership can sell brand new cars with no issues thats one thing. But when they sell used cars with issues like FLEAS and broken standard features and then refuse to fix them for a week and force you to take a loan you didn't want. Efficient, informative and a pleasure to deal with. Vehicle was received on the allocated time. A visual assessment was made and visible faults were discussed. All charges were discussed. During the scheduled 3 hour service the staff made sure that I was kept up to date as far as the progress was concerned. Any additional costs were discussed before execution. After the service was completed the account was discussed in detail and reward points used where possible. Highly recommended. The opposite experience that we received from O. C. Welch Hardeeville, where we purchased the car originally. O C Welch is 20 minutes from our home but we would rather drive the 90 minutes to get to J C Lewis, that is how bad the service is from O C Welch. read more

Worst service I have ever seen. Brought in Ford Transit with HVAC control issues under warranty. They claimed they could not work on it and blamed Winnebago when it clearly was a Ford Transit issue. After waiting 2 hours left with no fix or work done. Later found the issue myself which was a loose connection behind glove box on main junction cable that has a defective lock clip! I brought my $80,000 Ford F-150 in because it has a rough idle between 650 and 700 RPMs, and the service advisors dismissed it, saying, "That's just how the engine is." They looked at me like I was crazy and didn't offer any real solutions. It's a shame that I get far better treatment from foreign car companies. My daughter has a Mini Coupe, and the service she gets is superior. Meanwhile, I can't even get halfway decent service from an American-made Ford dealer. I would like to take a moment to tell you about a recent experience with your service department at #jclewisfordsavannah @Ford in Savannah, GA. My husband tried twice to use the online app to make a service appointment and both times it kicked him out because it didn't allow him to ask for the particular service required. He then called in and once was hung up on while waiting and the second time he talked to an agent that set up his appointment for Saturday February 15 at 1:00. He had asked that my oil be changed, tires rotated and my windshield spray be checked because it was not hitting the windshield, along with a reoccurring problem with the tire pressure sensor. When we arrived, he was told that the appointment was for 12:00 but they could accommodate him before closing, but then was told they couldn't get to the pressure sensor issue or wiper spray till April. He said he was willing to leave it over the weekend but could no way leave his car for 7-10 days or wait till April. He was saddened and disheartened to learn that this once family owned dealership was acquired by FORD CEO @JimFarley we doubt he owns it outright but it just goes to show that corporate America is no longer interested in real customer service but only interested in "run-around" efficiency tactics. My husband has been a long-time Ford owner, Mercury Sable, 2 Aerostar Vans, Excursion XLT, King Ranch F-150 Supercab and now a Ford Edge Titanium. This is the last time he says he will have any car serviced by a "ford" dealer and the last car owned associated with ford. I had my car worked on several times from a mobile tech. They did an oil change and tire rotation everytime. The first time the did the tire rotation they failed to inform me my tire was going bald due to an alignment issue. All of this was done under a warranty agreement. They are supposed to do a regular inspection of everything. everytime they come out. According to their website. And my paperwork. Well. After the first tire rotation , I heard a loud noise from I'm assuming the wear and tear on the tire and it being rotated to a different spot. Well the dude said he double checked the lugnuts and specifically made sure of it that day. First red flag. Came out the next day to look at it said he could hear it. but didn't look at my tires. Well a couple months go by i still hear the noise but let it pass because i had found out it was the wear and tear. they come out for my last warranty check. They told me they spoke to my warranty company and everything was set. I informed them that the noise was still going on and they came out. lied to me. said it was my rotors and brakes. they also said my rotors had few grooves that we're dangerous to drive at high speed. (Assuming to scare me). My rotors had slight wear and tear but not that exaggerating. Tried to charge me for a diagnostic. Mind you, they are supposed to do an annual inspection everytime. So now that you find an "Issue" you are going to charge me? Not only that but they were also trying to charge me for the oil change AFTER THE JOB was done AND a week prior they said my warranty was covering all of this. They will throw anyone in a mechanic shop now days. I'm not even a mechanic and I can see the bs from a mile away. As a disabled veteran who left the military during Covid, I have faced extreme hardships and rely heavily on my vehicle for both personal use and my business. Unfortunately, the 2015 Ford Transit Connect that I purchased from JC Lewis Ford with less than 20,000 miles has been an incredibly disappointing experience. The vehicle has had multiple issues since I purchased it, including two blown motors, a boost leak, a faulty speedometer, odometer, ABS sensor, and fuel rail. In addition, the four tires that came with the vehicle were all dry rotted and flat within a week, which caused me to incur additional expenses. Not to mention rental car fees for eight total weeks. When picking up the vehicle the first time it had code lights and TPMS lights still on. I drove 500 feet turned around and asked them to turn them off. The response was " you waited 4 weeks for this car and turned around just for TPMS lights? I can turn them off if you want" As a disabled veteran, having a reliable vehicle is crucial for my daily needs, and the issues I faced with this vehicle have caused me significant stress and financial strain. The fact that the dealership failed to provide me with a safe and reliable vehicle is unacceptable, and I am disappointed in their lack of responsibility in this situation. Additionally, JC Lewis Ford does not inform buyers that they need to keep all receipts for maintenance completed, or they will not warranty their work or lack thereof. This is an important detail that they should disclose to potential buyers. They are unable to warranty the motor due to sludge build up. I called the last location to service the vehicle and asked about particular sludge build up and he assured me if there was something to note they would have mentioned it. Below are all the reasons sludge can be caused and given the vehicle and how it was repaired I wouldn't be surprised if it had multiple issues. A faulty head gasket Oil contaminated by unburned gasoline Poor oil circulation Infrequent oil changes and filter changes Poor quality oil or improperly used oil Oil contaminated by the emissions system Engine runs too hot or too cold in spots Oil filler cap seal failure Your car has been driven on too many short trips or on too many trips under adverse conditions. Overall, my experience with JC Lewis Ford has been extremely negative, and I would not recommend them to anyone. The issues I faced were not only frustrating, but also potentially dangerous. If you are considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership, I would advise you to proceed with caution and thoroughly inspect the vehicle before making a purchase. I have been standing here for 10 minutes and a guy who took someone before me then addresses a guy after me and asks him "if he just has a dropoff?", that is what I am here to do. Thanks for the crappy service after the crappy service on the same visit. I had a crappy visit in August and you guys responded with a Svc mgr to call, and I told you then, "Dont waste my time with a half hearted reach out" and now I am here being mistreated for the multiple time, writing this review as an update and the guy behind me that Evan the service advisor took before me is taking long as they talk about a loaner? Really? You tell me to wait after you take a guy before me and then make me wait for you to even see what it is that I need and have this guy lean on the counter and talk with him to no avail in his helping which will be a longer conversation, the whole while you could have had me on my way. Now they are troubleshooting his car. While I am still standing here and I was here first. A lady walked in after me waited for me and asked me "if I am waiting?" John and Luke were awesome! Start to finish they rocked it and we appreciate all the help. If you're looking for a vehicle go see them! ASAP--Edit #2 just at another dealership. Hopefully they aren't at this one. Edit#1 - so Luke was great to work with and was a big help. That hasn't changed. But if you need to call back and talk to the finance department please don't hold your breath. You WILL NOT hear from anyone. I called once a day for a week straight and got no help or talked to anyone. Didn't call back for a couple days then started calling again asking for a manager. Don't hold your breath waiting for that either. Someone(from finance, Nicole) did eventually call back after a total of around 3 weeks of trying. Unfortunately, I couldn't answer. That was a mistake. I haven't heard back from her or anyone since, after leaving messages. I'll just attribute it to EVERY voice mail in the entire dealership is broken or disabled, machines break right? The woman at the front now knows me by voice and is very pleasant. If she and Luke are the saving grace of the dealership thank goodness. Food for thought, please bring a certified check or money order with you to pay or finance because you get charged a bank finance fee of $300 to run a debit card to pay for a vehicle. Surprise, who knew. That's my fault though, I'll own that mmhmm. It was a nice offer though that the sales manager that evening "would split the difference with me" and that they gave me a free oil change coupon (who knows if the dealerships in my state will accept it) thanks. Prepare to pay $100 under their certified blue warranty program to get your vehicle looked at. That was a nice surprise. And here we are, the reason that I've been calling. Again this isn't the dealerships fault, it can't be right? I have 3 days left (2 being the weekend) on my dealership tag before it expires because the GA DMV hasn't sent the title. Better answer services. Tried calling today at 10am, the phone would ring once, then disconnect. This happen several times, so I called pooler location and got someone who answer after two rings. I explained to the lady I was trying to get in touch with service at Savannah location, she put me on hold, and came back a few seconds later and said she had someone on the phone, and transferred me. The lady I spoke at Savannah location said she would transfer me to schedule department, the phone rang about 15 times and then another recording came on saying mailbox was full. So bottom line, this problem needs to be addressed, if you need people than hire, if you have lazy people then fire them, but there is no reason any customer should have to wait to schedule a service appointment. We've had one of the most horrific, gut-churning experiences of our lives dealing with this J.C. Lewis Ford branch; it has nearly wiped out our savings, for nothing. Our Ford Escape was part of the recall this summer. We chose this branch because it was nearby and had excellent reviews. . Our experience has been an ongoing nightmare: (1) First, they forgot they had our car -- for over 3 weeks. Literally. The car was sitting in their lot, unprocessed. We thought they were working on our car that entire time. We'd been relying on Lyfts & Ubers to commute to work, which set us back over $500. The manager called us to personally apologize, and gave us a courtesy rental car. (2) But, when we got our car back, the battery suspiciously died within days. We noticed that the radio stations had been reprogrammed and left on a channel we never listen to. Suspicious? Yes. But, we didn't want to lodge accusations we couldn't prove. So, we took our car back to JC Lewis Ford. (3) When we got our car back the 2nd time, there were even more problems than before. The transmission wasn't working properly, again. The acceleration was delayed. The tires were grinding against the car. Random lights were blinking on the dashboard. (4) We called JC Lewis Ford, told them our saga, they assured us we could drop the car off Sunday night, and by Monday afternoon, they'd have a time & cost estimate for us. (5) Instead: we called them on Monday and were told (cavalierly) that it would be 3-5 business days before they could even look at our car. We reminded them that this wasn't what we were told, that we couldn't afford to take Ubers/Lyfts for that long... That person told us to call someone, who told us to call someone, etc., etc. We were left high and dry. . We are now down an additional $40 + time spent taking a Lyft there and back to drop it off -- for nothing. Grand total = over $3,000 out of our savings. We're not wealthy. We had to push back our life plans to move, because of all this. For nothing. . The worst part? We tried to be understanding and reasonable throughout this process. In return? We haven't even gotten sympathy from management, let alone accountability... This is the most devastating, exploitative experience we have ever been through with any company in our lives. . If you take your car here, be warned that an experience like this is a risk. They clearly pay for/offer incentives for good reviews. Don't take them at face value. read more

A week later, they tell me my contract needs to be re-signed because they (JC Lewis) messed up on their end and the payment is going to increase on my contract. Seems like a sleazy, back door way to sell a vehicle. Set the terms the customer will sign off on in the beginning and then just say "Oops" later on and then have the customer re-sign for a higher monthly payment. Crazy. And then after that, have them re-sign ANOTHER document they messed up and it is WEEKS after the purchase of the vehicle. Let's just say my first time car buying experience is completely ruined. I believe in the saying, "Trust is hard to gain but easily lost. I'm losing trust with this dealership. I've been several times for routine maintenance. They're very adamant about reminding you of your upcoming visit, which is nice, but the actual visits aren't pleasant. Stay away from the service advisor named Evan. He's awful and lazy and does not care for your time nor your vehicle. As far as any of the service advisors they're all pretty much the same -- but he's worse. I'm aware that waiting times vary and that things occur when your vehicle is being serviced, but when you schedule an appointment for a routine oil change it should not take 2+ hours. I've waited for over 7 hours before and with little apology. They actually tried to sell me more things they could do after I waited. Absolutely ridiculous and will never be back. read more

However, I purchased a brand new 2021 Ford Edge back in April and they "detailed" the car before giving it to me but it was still bird poop on the driver side window and a makeup stain on the passenger side pull down mirror. I told them about this when I had came back in but I had an exam that day and I waited but was told they didn't have time and theh would just "owe me a wash" I was told my first two oil changes would be free because of the points I got for buying with them but they are appointment based and I just called and appointments are 2 weeks out. Overall, I've been enjoying my car for the most part that's why I gave two stars BUT some things are already starting to fall apart but it's mostly just cosmetic. Probably the worst dealership I've ever stepped a foot in. The sad part is, the world is in shambles, and no one is buying cars, but i was willing to take a risk and get one from there for my wife. That's the last time I let anyone in Georgia waste my damn time! So they drop the mustang off and tell us to keep it for a day or so to see how we like it. I figured with the CV happening, that's a safe process. We liked the car but noticed a few flaws. Not alarming, but definitely things to talk about. We went back and forth with our trade and getting us where we wanted to be, which didn't happen. It was in the ballpark still, so I was not too upset. The price on the car needed work. This is where I had a concern. The sales manager would not budge. When I spoke to him over the phone I mentioned to him, I'm not going to play no cat and mouse sales game with the car. I want what I want, you either meet the demands or we part ways and no one wastes time. He agreed. He proceeds to tell me that trading in my car would erase the sales taxes I would pay on a new car. This is after I mentioned I would private sell it so I could get what I wanted for it. He said just sell to us and when you trade in, you get sales tax credit on new car so you won't pay sales tax. I said that's a solid deal. I get to the dealership and wanted to walk out financing 16k after my trade. They hand me a paper that says $19 and change! $1200 in sales tax, $600 (hustler) deal fee, and some other junk! I looked at the manager and told him, you lied to me. I don't like being lied to about things. You specifically said no sales tax if we trade in and there's $1200 in tax. Back in Chicago, where I'm from, when you quote something, you stick to it! It's called sales integrity! We don't play games! This guy must have thought I wasn't going to come in with my wife and I was going to let them screw her. Sadly mistaken! J.C. will not get my business, I've filed a complaint with the BBB and sadly enough, they lost 2 sales not just 1. My fusion is due to get rid of. "The truck was shaking uncontrollably, would not go over ten miles per hour, the accelerator was unresponsive, the collision assist flashed over my dashboard ..."check engine" light came on, and the "powertrain malfunction indicator lamp" also came on..." My 2020 F-250, with 17k miles on it, broke down on me on my way home from work, on Friday September 10th, 2021. The truck was shaking uncontrollably, would not go over ten miles per hour, the accelerator was unresponsive, the collision assist flashed over my dashboard that it was not working properly, my "check engine" light came on, and the "powertrain malfunction indicator lamp" also came on and alerted my dashboard. The next day, Saturday the 11th, I had it towed to JC Lewis, the dealership that I bought it from (brand new) last year. Over the next ten days, I called many times and spoke with service advisor John G. each time. John informed me that they had not yet had time to even look at the issue with my truck yet. I was also told each time that they were completely out of loaner vehicles and didn't even have any rental cars, that Ford would compensate the cost for, at their Enterprise location. ...this makes me truly worry how many broken vehicles JC Lewis has swindled off on people if they are completely "booked-up" (as John G. continuously said it) on all of their loaner and rental cars. On the eleventh day of waiting, I sent an email to John G. and the managers over the service department of JC Lewis, asking why it was taking so long to service my truck, expressing my concerns of not having a loaner vehicle, the high cost that I was incurring by using rideshares and renting cars on my own, and also expressing my concerns regarding the vehicle being a "lemon." I was then informed they would start looking at my truck soon. Then, lo-and-behold, two hours later, I was left a voicemail stating that my truck was complete and ready for pick up. The issue turned out to be a defective throttle body. ...a truck with less than seventeen thousand miles on it needed a new throttle body! What a joke. This is just one of many issues this truck has had since I bought it and I am very worried about the longevity of the vehicle to be frankly honest. I paid an incredible amount of money for a new truck from this establishment, in large part to avoid disastrous situations like this, not to be part of them and have to endure high costs of not having a vehicle. If I had wrecked the truck, or caused the damage somehow myself, then I could understand JC Lewis Ford not being quick to help me, but this was 100% a manufacturing error from the vehicle. It has had other similar issues previous to this one and I will soon pursue my options into lemon laws for a refund. This ordeal cost me a lot of time and money. I want to share a recent experience I had with the service department at JC Lewis Ford in Statesboro. The Sync (electronic voice command system) in my 2018 vehicle was not working, and the keyless door pad had fallen out of its bracket and needed to be replaced. The keypad worked; it had simply fallen out, and I had used adhesive tape to secure it in the bracket. Scheduling the service appointment was not easy. After no one answered the phone in the service department, I had to leave messages, and we played phone tag just to schedule an appointment. When they finally scheduled an appointment, the date was several weeks in the future. While I waited for the appointment date, I called and asked the service advisor to put 4 new tires on the vehicle and to install new brakes, if needed. When I arrived at the appointed time, the service advisor told me for the first time there was a $179.00 "diagnostic fee" for the Sync system issue. I was surprised that no one had mentioned that fee beforehand, but I agreed to pay it because I rely on a properly operating Sync navigation system for driving directions. No one told me how long the diagnostic process would take. No one told me how long I would be without my vehicle. No one offered me a loaner or rental vehicle. The next day, I received a text message that my vehicle was ready. To me, "ready" meant that the Sync problems were fixed, the keypad had been replaced and working properly, and the 4 new tires were mounted on the vehicle. It did not need new brakes. Expecting to find the Sync system fixed, the new keyless pad installed and working properly, and the 4 new tires on the vehicle, I went to the service department. The service advisor presented the bill for over $1,800.00 and told me "all they had to do was update the software for the Sync," and everything else was "done." I paid the bill, and he handed me the key. I drove away. When I arrived back at my office, I tried the keyless pad, and it did not work. The only button that worked was the "8" button, and pressing the "8" button locked all doors. No button or combination of buttons would unlock the doors. I watched YouTube videos and read the owners manual and used the code that came with the vehicle in an attempt to reset the code but nothing worked. I notified the service advisor, and he told me to bring the vehicle back, so I did. When I arrived, an employee walked with me to the vehicle and he asked me, "what's it doing?" I explained the problem, and he confirmed exactly what I told him. He said, "we'll have to order a new one." I followed him back inside, he told the service advisor to order a new one. The service advisor said he would text me when it arrived. Later, I tried the Navigation function on the Sync system, and it did not work. It lagged exactly the same as it did before I took the vehicle to the service department. The so called "update" had not fixed anything. The net result is that the service department replaced the keypad with a new one that does not work and failed to fix the Sync problem, but they did install the 4 new tires and replace the lug nuts. 11-2-2021: I have bought three vehicles from JC Lewis in the last 10 years or so and have had some of the service and warranty work completed there as well. I made an appointment and took my 2019 F250 Limited (bought from JC Lewis) in for a leak coming from a bolted seam on the roof. They had the truck for a few days and only used epoxy on five of the 10 bolts to solve the leak issue. Why they did not do them all is just pure laziness and a lack of quality control. So, after a heavy downpour, the leak showed up again. Nonetheless, it would have been nice if the service manager walked me through what they did and tell me that they were unable to fully install the plastic cover that hides the seam due to the after factory ARE truck cap I had installed (maybe??). With all that said, I will never go back to JC Lewis Ford to buy another vehicle or for service. I have given them many chances (and lots of money) in the past and have been let down almost every time. I bought a new 2011 F150 from a different dealership in N.C. and that team stood by their work. They even offered free oil changes for a year. So, if I decide to buy another Ford in the next few years, looks like I am driving up to South Carolina. Update 11-14: I also had the oil changed/tires rotated and I just went to re-torque the lug-nuts and there were four (4) that were very loose, and three (3) on the driver's side rear tire that were finger-tight. I was buying a 2022 Explorer at JCL, the "sales manager" said it had about 2000 miles on it. They told me it was a dealer loaner, no problem and it had never been titled. When I was signing the virtural documents the odometer document was showing 5480, 3480 more miles than I was told. I contacted JCLewis to have them explain the difference and demand compensation. Many other complications came up including a car we never told them we would be trading in was included in the paperwork. If we hadn't have wanted a blue Explorer I would have nixed the deal. Buyer beware, read everything, ...EVERYTHING..!! The salesman (Cory Sears) was great, the individuals above him were the problem. We chose to buy a new 2022 Ranger XL EcoBoost from "OC Welch Ford" two days later because of the problems with JCL. No Problems at all with OC Welch..!! read more

Buyer beware. We went in today to buy a "BRAND NEW "car. The salesmen showed us a ford Edge. Gorgeous car, beautiful color, drove nicely we wanted this car. UNTIL the salesmen said, "I need to tell you, this car is a loaner car and has 7000 miles on it." Well it's NOT new if it's been previously driven dumbass. They said well we are taking $1,500 off the sticker and giving you 6 month extended warranty because it has 7000 mikes on it, oh and it's still new because it was never registered by anyone else. Are these people that stupid to think I'd fall for this bait and switch? Clearly they do. So, check the milage on your " NEW " car before buying from this underhanded shady car dealership. The car lot does have a nice selection, is located in the heart of town, but that's where the positives stop. Employees are trained to lie and the cars are over priced. I went to look at a vehicle that had 5 miles on it in the pictures online. When I showed up the interior was filthy and the car had over 1200 miles. Clearly an employee had been using the vehicle. It was priced way over Msrp and when I asked why the miles were so high the employee claimed it had been driven here from the manufacturer. No vehicle is direct driven, they are shipped in trains then moved to auto transports. The pictures were taken on their lot with 5 miles. I don't tolerate liars and dealer mark ups are just theft.
