JC Lewis Ford Pooler Ga. I just received my new F150 . A plan priced plus rebates plus ford extra rebate ($2500) plus 3.9% for 75 months. Tori was knowledgeable and very helpful- she even searched over 4 JC Lewis locations to get the more than perfect truck. If you're thinking about a new FORD run to J C Lewis Pooler and ask for Tori.

I highly recommend!! I've never had the type of experience I had with J.C. Lewis! I was dreading buying a car due to all my past experiences, but from the moment I arrived, I was welcomed & made to feel like part of the family. McKenzie was extremely helpful, knowledgeable & compassionate.... not at all like a pushy sales person! Dillon was so very helpful & went above and beyond helping make sure I was completely taken care of! They even have their own locksmith that was extremely helpful & quick in getting me another key made for my vehicle. I'm highly satisfied and thankful I decided to purchase from them!

As a disabled veteran who left the military during Covid, I have faced extreme hardships and rely heavily on my vehicle for both personal use and my business. Unfortunately, the 2015 Ford Transit Connect that I purchased from JC Lewis Ford with less than 20,000 miles has been an incredibly disappointing experience. The vehicle has had multiple issues since I purchased it, including two blown motors, a boost leak, a faulty speedometer, odometer, ABS sensor, and fuel rail. In addition, the four tires that came with the vehicle were all dry rotted and flat within a week, which caused me to incur additional expenses. Not to mention rental car fees for eight total weeks. When picking up the vehicle the first time it had code lights and TPMS lights still on. I drove 500 feet turned around and asked them to turn them off. The response was " you waited 4 weeks for this car and turned around just for TPMS lights? I can turn them off if you want" As a disabled veteran, having a reliable vehicle is crucial for my daily needs, and the issues I faced with this vehicle have caused me significant stress and financial strain. The fact that the dealership failed to provide me with a safe and reliable vehicle is unacceptable, and I am disappointed in their lack of responsibility in this situation. Additionally, JC Lewis Ford does not inform buyers that they need to keep all receipts for maintenance completed, or they will not warranty their work or lack thereof. This is an important detail that they should disclose to potential buyers. They are unable to warranty the motor due to sludge build up. I called the last location to service the vehicle and asked about particular sludge build up and he assured me if there was something to note they would have mentioned it. Below are all the reasons sludge can be caused and given the vehicle and how it was repaired I wouldn't be surprised if it had multiple issues. A faulty head gasket Oil contaminated by unburned gasoline Poor oil circulation Infrequent oil changes and filter changes Poor quality oil or improperly used oil Oil contaminated by the emissions system Engine runs too hot or too cold in spots Oil filler cap seal failure Your car has been driven on too many short trips or on too many trips under adverse conditions. Overall, my experience with JC Lewis Ford has been extremely negative, and I would not recommend them to anyone. The issues I faced were not only frustrating, but also potentially dangerous. If you are considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership, I would advise you to proceed with caution and thoroughly inspect the vehicle before making a purchase. This vehicle has cost me more than I paid for it in rentals and repairs with less than 80,000 miles

I created an account just to write this review. I don't even normally bother with bad reviews. That's how serious this is. . We've had one of the most horrific, gut-churning experiences of our lives dealing with this J.C. Lewis Ford branch; it has nearly wiped out our savings, for nothing. Our Ford Escape was part of the recall this summer. We chose this branch because it was nearby and had excellent reviews. . Our experience has been an ongoing nightmare: (1) First, they forgot they had our car -- for over 3 weeks. Literally. The car was sitting in their lot, unprocessed. We thought they were working on our car that entire time. We'd been relying on Lyfts & Ubers to commute to work, which set us back over $500. The manager called us to personally apologize, and gave us a courtesy rental car. (2) But, when we got our car back, the battery suspiciously died within days. We noticed that the radio stations had been reprogrammed and left on a channel we never listen to. Suspicious? Yes. But, we didn't want to lodge accusations we couldn't prove. So, we took our car back to JC Lewis Ford. (3) When we got our car back the 2nd time, there were even more problems than before. The transmission wasn't working properly, again. The acceleration was delayed. The tires were grinding against the car. Random lights were blinking on the dashboard. (4) We called JC Lewis Ford, told them our saga, they assured us we could drop the car off Sunday night, and by Monday afternoon, they'd have a time & cost estimate for us. (5) Instead: we called them on Monday and were told (cavalierly) that it would be 3-5 business days before they could even look at our car. We reminded them that this wasn't what we were told, that we couldn't afford to take Ubers/Lyfts for that long... That person told us to call someone, who told us to call someone, etc., etc. We were left high and dry. . We are now down an additional $40 + time spent taking a Lyft there and back to drop it off -- for nothing. Grand total = over $3,000 out of our savings. We're not wealthy. We had to push back our life plans to move, because of all this. For nothing. . The worst part? We tried to be understanding and reasonable throughout this process. In return? We haven't even gotten sympathy from management, let alone accountability... This is the most devastating, exploitative experience we have ever been through with any company in our lives. . If you take your car here, be warned that an experience like this is a risk. They clearly pay for/offer incentives for good reviews. Don't take them at face value.

Very attentive and they constantly kept me in the loop. They now take videos of the initial vehicle inspection.

With tax and their 3% "surcharge" for credit card payments, the bill came out to over $440. That's crazy. When I asked why it was so high, they just said that they didn't know why the phone quote would have been so low, but the fee was going to be what the fee was going to be. Also, I just found out when I tried to use it today that my Lane Keeping camera isn't working. So not only did they NOT fix what was broken, they broke what was working. If you bring your car to this dealer for repairs, you're insane.

The car was towed to the dealership and we were told we would receive an update the next day about the diagnosis. No call that day. They weren't open the next day (Sunday). No call on Monday, so we called in for an update and were told that it was being diagnosed and would call before the end if the day. No call by end of day again. Lots of promises were made about them calling us and every time we had to call in after they failed to update us when they said. Finally we received a diagnosis that the coolant had been leaking for quite some time and we would need a radiator replacement. The tow truck driver looked in the radiator and felt the radiator hose and noticed that there was no coolant iwhen he picked the car up. He even commented "it should've never left the garage like this." We questioned how it wasn't noticed at the oil change when we dropped the car off and were told by one representative that coolant levels aren't checked during oil changes?!?! Even though the paperwork received has a place for checking coolant levels in the laundry list of items that are checked during oil changes. If they had checked the coolant level during our oil change it seems to me that they would've noticed the low level before we were stranded on the road. That area was given a red with notes that we need to do a brake service at the next visit due to mileage. Nothing was mentioned about the coolant level so I do believe they didn't check it. This seems like gross negligence. It's also piggy backed on the last time we brought our car in for an oil change and tire rotation they noticed a screw in one tire and said that the tires needed replaced. We get tires from a different establishment so I refused that suggestion. I paid the bill which included the tire rotation fee. When I asked the representative where the tire with the screw had been moved to she checked with the mechanics who said they hadn't rotated the tires! Since our tires wore out around 40k miles it makes me wonder if they actually never rotated the tires each time I brought the car in, despite me paying for the service?!?! I also wonder if the radiator replacement was prematurely necessary due to possible negligence as well. Do honda radiators typically fail at 50k miles out of the blue? We no longer trust the service at this honda dealership as a result and won't be returning.

OK, what a difference a new ownership makes. :)…read more My recent experience with the service department at the new ownership group at Southern Motor's Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep was truly incredible and mind blowing. I called and left a voice mail message to ask the price for an oil change for my Fiat 500X, I also left an online text on their website. I hadn't heard anything back for a day and a half, so I texted them once again. That night around 7 p.m., I received a call from the manager of the Service Dept., Scott. He apologized for no one getting back to me, and offered a free oil change and tire rotation to compensate me!!! Who does that?? Then, 15 min. later I received a call from Todd, the Service Bay manager, who I had worked with in that past. Not that he knew that at the time. He too wanted to apologize for no one getting back to me and when did I want to bring my car in for a free oil change? After I had the work done the next day, I received a call from Amber at Southern Motors to make sure everything was done to my liking!!!! Wow! Is all I can say. There guys are working hard to deliver a stellar customer experience. Thanks Gang!

I attempted to take it in the next week for a warranty repair. The gentleman at the counter talked as though this was "Are you able to leave it with me? It's going to take at least 72 hours or more because they had a car ahead of you and the technician will need to diagnose the problem and recommend a repair". Fearing that I will be out of a car for a week, I chose to bring it back two weeks later. I returned two weeks later, on a off day, and they stated "oh no, we should have this done today". I handed over the keys and left. After lunch I got a text message saying I needed $1400 service on a car that I had only one month. I chose only to have the sensor replaced at $860. I asked why it wasn't covered under my bumper to bumper warranty. He stated that it was because "of impact or collision". The next week I took my car to Mavis in Savannah to get the "suggested", by auto nation, front end alignment. The technician took my car back and put it up on the rack to align. He then called me back to show me it was already aligned and didn't need the alignment. So, fast forward to today. We are on vacation on our way home. The car now has a low tire pressure warning on the tire that Auto Nation patched. I would advise you to avoid Auto Nation Hyundai at all cost.

Buying a car "ain't what it used to be."…read more At one time not too long ago you could read Consumer Reports, gain tips on how to negotiate with a dealer about their holdbacks and other mechanisms they have to protect their oft extraordinary profits, and garner yourself a better deal. Those days are gone - at least for now - in this Covid environment. The worldwide pandemic continues to contribute to the shortage of parts that impact every industry. The automobile industry is not exempt. As a result, dealers don't know until the last minute what models of vehicles they'll get in or what features each may or may not have on arrival. In this climate, there is little motivation to negotiate on their part, as their overall sales volume is down. This dealer puts a $2000 markup over the MSRP that's a one size fits all fee that covers all of the usual fees associated with the sale: document prep, transfer, delivery, etc. There's no negotiation. They don't have to negotiate with you. There will be people standing in line to buy the car you want in this Covid climate. We were fortunate to gain one of their top salesman -- Kenny HADEL in connection with a new car purchase. Ask for him. You'll be glad you did. Also, ask for Michelle in financing: she's terrific. Overall this is an excellent, ethical dealership with whom to do business.

When writing up the contract I was given a $1000 "discount"- what he didn't tell me was that was in place of a lower interest rate- which I had the choice of taking. The finance guy was sleezy in that when choosing the option packages that he stated would only add $21 to my payments. After checking the math the bottom line was over $5000 more-- not sure where his math skills came from. I should have walked away then but we got that straightened out but still more than $21 per payment. Somehow the salesman ended up filling out my evaluation of the dealership- I never saw that . The service Dept is a joke. I purchased the oil change package and tire package. My first oil change and service was done- within 10 mins of leaving my low tire pressure light came on -- all 4 tires low that weren't low before I took it in. I called and left 2 messages for the service manager-- never got a return call. I had a nail in a tire that I took it in to be repaired. At 10 am they said it would be about 2 hours before they knew if I'd need a new tire or if it could be fixed-- no call and no response to calls or texts to their service line you are given. Finally at about 4:30p -- 6 hours later- I was notified it was completed. I called the service manager twice that day as well with no response. For my second service I took it to Hilton Head Kia in Bluffton--- EXCELLENT 5- STAR service and friendly people--- I'll NEVER go back to Savannah KIA!!!!!!
