They did get the windshield installed fast and even remembered my rain sensor, that the last safelite forgot about and threw away, costing me $200... I got new wiper blades too, which seem pretty good. But the glass all over the inside and outside of the car is just not cool. At least vacuum it out with a shop vac so people aren't sitting on glass.

All of this information made me feel even more assured and expectant of a great service experience. However, the day before all these commitments were to take place I receive a call from their office stating that "not only will they have to cancel my appointment", but I will have to reschedule to come to their facility because they are not able to provide me with the mobile service at my home, for my particular vehicle. Talk about the "left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing". This is just another example as to how communication through "AI" automated systems is flawed. My insurance company recommended me going to Safelite but after reading their horrible reviews I felt like if I went and something bad happen to my car it was my own fault. After searching around and comparing google and other fellow Yelper reviews I discovered Coastal Glass Works. I explained my situation and how I needed to have my front windshield replaced and a possible recalibration and that my insurance would be covering the cost and would they be able to help me. The lady on the phone was super helpful and friendly and let me know the process I first needed to take with my insurance before they could take the job. After contacting my insurance CGW reached back out to me the same day to set up my appointment for that Friday. We ended up having to move it to the following week due to Ian. Gotta love hurricanes! I'm busy during the day and don't have the availability to do a drop off or wait at home for them to come out to me. Which would be a bonus for someone else that may not be able to make a shop visit. They had told me 8-8:30 for Friday morning. I arrived on time and was greeted right off by a wet overly excited brown lab and the owner. There was one person in front of me but I appreciated that he acknowledged that I was waiting and let me know he would be right with me. The front room is small but roomie with seating to the left and a DIY Pinterest desk... I ended up waiting for them to complete the install. I enjoyed learning more about the owner and his sister and I had puppy kisses and snuggles while I waited. The back shop area where the restroom is located is clean and organized. They had me in and out in about 2hr and three other people came and went while I was there with small repairs or fixes but I never felt like they weren't taking care of me. The end result... I no long have a U shape crack in my vehicle and it looks great! The owner went over the paperwork with me which wasn't much considering my insurance was handling it and showed me my new windshield and explained care instructions everything to me. They vacuumed all the glass out of my car and clean my windows. Bonus considering I haven't washed my car in weeks! Lol I highly recommend them for their customer service, follow up and work. I did get a quote on what it would have been if I paid out of pocket. And considering that if Ian hadn't come and they could have gotten me in the same week. It was a overall great deal!

My husband told them that he wanted to windows to be were it can not be seen through the rear windows on both cars. The owner lady said that she can do that. We for one had to call to see if our cars were ready she said she was going to call us and never did. Then we get to pick up the cars and the civic windows were still were you can see through them and they had tiny bubbles in the tint. my husband went to speak to the women, he was told that the tint has to set and then it will get darker and the bubbles will work there way out. This was Tuesday March 19 th 2019 so by Thursday the tint still had not gotten any darker and bubbles were still there some went away but not all. My husband goes back to on March 22, 2019 and she says that the tint is what he asked for and it is legal for the state of Texas which is the state our cars are registered in. My husband was telling her that the laws she had off Google for Texas were wrong and this women argued him down telling him that is what he wanted and thats the only way the tint can be done for her info says that Texas allows. My husband called the Texas Department of Transportation and public safety in front of her, after showing her what there website said in Texas. After 2 hours of going back and forth with this women her being very disrespectful and unprofessional we talk to a representative from there and they tell her what we already showed her and told her that you are allowed to have 25 percent for front 2 windows and no restriction on the back windows she spoke to the women her self and tried her best for the women on the phone to agree with the published laws in her store which are wrong. After spending 2 hours arguing with the lady and her spending 1 hour arguing with the rep on the phone and this point we just wanted our money back so my husband said just take the tint off and give me my money back this women says No I cant do that because that what you asked for which it was not at all for both cars we paid 1245 she even changed the price on us the day we dropped the cars the told us that she would like the payment in cash or they will have to charge us 100 more If we paid with card. Over all the service sucked and that lady is a liar. She also told us that the tint has to sit for 2 weeks and it will get darker not true at all we went to every tint place from here to Savannah and not one business can validate that statement.
