I decided to give this place a try based on the reviews and a Yelp offer for 30% off foot reflexology plus full body massage. This place was not super hard to find but its location was not visibly obvious from the street. I found that it was located in the seventh floor of a building that appeared run down. The inside of the business was nicer but small. They took me as a walk in but it is best to make an appointment. Since I did not have an appointment, they were able only able to do foot reflexology. It was nice to have hot tea to drink but it wasn't anything different than the detox tea that I drink at home. I was not impressed with the neck and shoulder massage. The foot massage was good but the chair was very uncomfortable. It was too soft and causes you to sink a bit. Good support for the back and neck was lacking during the foot massage. They did not ensure I was comfortable in my seated position and did nothing to make adjustments when it should have been obvious that my arm was going numb as I repeatedly had to shake it out during the foot massage. Due to the lack of seated support, the neck and shoulder massage was wasted by the end of the foot massage. The massage was 45 minutes. The person who worked on me had strong hands during the foot massage and she was nice. She gave me a discount on the foot massage. I wanted to be able to give a good review but it just was not what I was hoping for based on the other Yelp reviews. I'm giving three stars for the foot massage and for offering a discount. I was fortunate to get my foot reflexology by the owner herself. She is amazing and highly knowledgable. By working on my feet, she was able to know that I had sinus issues and was able to clear it up and was aware that my right eye is stressed, probably from working on a computer all day long. It was certainly an educational experience. As the reflexologist is working on you, they explain which part of your body or organs it is affecting. And if you don't know what that organ does, they are happy to explain it to you. Definitely a different reflexology experience than what I'm used to but still a great one. read more

Very strong and firm reflexology session, can definitely feel them hit all of the pressure points. It'll be a bit painful at some points but I drifted into sleepy easily. There's a quick beck and back massage in the beginning which definitely eased a lot of my tight knots from a long flight, but it felt very fast and brief! I've tried a lot of reflexology places and this place is a bit pricey compared to others, I'm also not a fan of them having 50 min sessions, 60 is usually the standard. If it wasn't for the discount they give I wouldn't recommend them. But it's close and within walking distance of Waikiki. It's small inside but cozy, they should consider closing the windows to block out some of the noise though. read more

Cute little place, the employees are all very nice. I got the foot reflexology massage with my boyfriend. The ladies who did the massage were very informative. They soak your feet in a bucket and the massage starts out with a short neck massage. Then they move to the feet. I will warn you that it does hurt if you have a lot of toxins in your body. We're doing a cleanse so we figured this was a great way to help rid our body of toxins. Drink lots water after the massage to get the toxins out. Don't worry about the pain. Sit back, close your eyes, listen to the music and don't think about the pain. It's very relaxing. We're going back for another very soon. The only reasons I'm giving them 4 out of 5 stars is because they didn't close the door to the room we were in and some employees came in and used the sink in the room. That was a little distracting. I'm used to being in a room with the door closed and the only sound is the relaxing music. But you're fully clothed for this massage so it's not like the open door is that big of a deal, it was more the sink that was distracting. read more

Holistic Garden is located on Seaside (across from the old IMAX/Ross). It's location off the main streets (Kalakaua & Kuhio) means that it is much a cheaper, no frills massage place. My wife and I went there twice during our staycation at the Sheraton Waikiki. I was told that they will be opening another location at the Nauru Tower (old KITV). PROS: The price is cheaper than any other spa/massage place in Waikiki. The rate is nearly .90 per minute (which to spa geeks means its about $65-$70 for an hour ) Any massage place, ESPECIALLY in waikiki is not as cheap as here. If you want to get a massage and don't care about the location, go here. That being said, it isn't ghetto or ugly. It just isnt the Moanalani Spa or Heaven on Earth. If you want to be in a world class spa, go to a hotel (or my all time favorite- Laka on Ward). I enjoyed the foot reflexology and full body massage. This truly was the only place where the masseuse really took out my knots from my shoulders. Although the foot reflexology is in the lobby of the spa and not in a separate room, they have you relaxing in lay-z boy style chairs overlooking their balcony (with all types of plants and what not). Also they offer a cinnamon tea which was very pleasant (and I believe the cinnamon serves as some type of stress releasing anti oxidant - I'm babbling. I forgot what she told me). They also do discounts if you check in I believe. WORKS IN PROGRESS: There isnt much for this, except it is located in a dingy, unkempt apartment complex. It is the same place as iyasume musubi. While the spa itself is decent in appearance, it looks like the owner of the building didn't give two s***ts about the appearance and just wanted to focus on bringing in the dough. This is not against Hollistic Garden, but after you see where it's located, you will know why they can't charge a lot. Also which I thought was amusing, like all the other tenants that occupy the building, it was converted from a 7 story apartment to a 7 story business tower. As soon as you go to the lobby / spa, you can tell it looks like an apartment unit. In the spa, there was a kitchen, living room (where u check in and get foot massages), a restroom (with a shower) and the bedroom. Again if you just need a good cheap massage, come here. I will definitely be coming back to here, as I will be needing weekly massages for my back. read more

Let me start off by saying this is not your typical massage to relax place. They are truly reflexology that use the skills to determine if you have any medical issue, which mean they will find the pressure points on your foot and this involve little bit of pain. Having to had the experience with reflexology in China for several years as a patient, I was surprise and impress by how professional and inexpensive they are. Me and my wife wanted to have another massage before we leave Honolulu, so we found them on yelp and called in for a 60 mins foot massage 2 hours before our appointment and they were able to accommodate us. 90% of the service were reflexology I would say. This was a great yelp find, wish I would have found it the first day of my trip instead of the last. They are located in a office building on the 4th floor, easy to find. The space was a office and two treatment rooms, one for massage the other for foot reflexology. Very clean. I have been traveling a lot the past two weeks. I am dehydrated over caffeinated, alcohol, sleeping poorly. My body was really tight and I had an awful pain on my left side of my neck giving me a cluster headache. Mika found all of my tight spots and pinpointed the liver and kidneys that were sore to touch. After my 60 min massage I had 30 min foot reflexology which will all of my aches right now wasn't the most comfortable but I knew how much better I would feel when it was done. Went for a massage with my girlfriends today. When we got up the place was in a office that looked like a day care. The massage therapist was very unprofessional and was massaging my breasts and exposed them while another male therapist was present. I did not know if this was normal practice. When I asked my girlfriends none of them had the same experiences. He also talked about murders. When the other male therapist mentioned his friend was murdered, my male therapist made a joke and said, "maybe she deserved it". He also said a murder who feeds humans to pigs gets free food. He also talked about strippers and being able to do anything you want to do with them. All these "jokes" while massaging me, felt so wrong. They also asked me to tip more. At the time I should have said something but as a women when you are physically harassed like that its an awkward situation. Be aware and speak up if they touch you inappropriately! read more
