We do not regret our decision! The veterinarian (Dr. Flathers) was excellent with our dog. He's an older guy now and rather anxious. Dr. Flathers and the tech were really great, and accommodated him fully. We were provided clear information on treatment and costs. We were surprised by how fast service was (same-day appointment and same-day test results!), and found the pricing to be very reasonable. It's been a few days and our puppo is feeling much better and is nearly recovered. Whew! If we're ever in need of pet care again while in the area, we'll definitely choose Angel Animal Hospital.

They charged me $15.22 to use my credit card. Said that it takes extra steps to use that card. This is after I asked, the day we were there, if that was a fee from the business or my CC company. The receptionist told me she didn't know but thought it was the CC company. Well I called my CC Co., and, NOT!!! My bill was $392 for about 45 min and a little inflammation in my cat. Well they just lost my business and my 2 cats as patients. Also I was told someone would be calling to check on, how my cat was doing. Two days later and nobody has called. This morning when I was inquiring about the fees, nobody even asked how he was doing.

The other place we've taken him the dogs get to play with minimal supervision all day - which is fine if you have a dog-dog. Woody, on the other hand, is a people dog. He wants to play until he's tired (which isn't long, he's a lazy monster) and then wants to go sit adjacent to the humans. There is always a person out with the dogs and this makes him happy. He is always excited when we arrive and the girls who work there seem just as happy to see him. We've brought him in for daycare a few times (really just to let him play) and boarded him once. Every time it's gone smoothly. I loved spying on him using the webcams at the daycare we used to take him to in LA, so I'm really happy they offer the same service. They're open from 7-7 so dropping off and picking up around a long workday isn't an issue. They do require a temperament evaluation you have to schedule in advance as part of their first day and current vaccination records, so keep that all in mind when planning to bring your doggy in, but that's all pretty standard. They give you an adorable report card telling you how your pup did, including names of friends he played with. Is it ridiculous? Yes. Do I love it anyways? Absolutely. Yes, I understand my dog is not a child, but if I'm paying ~$20 for him to play all day, by all means, indulge me and tell me about naps on a cozy cot, how the play day went and who his new best friends are! While we definitely miss the Pooch Hotel in our old neighborhood, Woody thinks this is a more than acceptable substitute.

We have boarded them for the weekend and for up to 8 days while we were on vacation. Happy Tails is awesome!! To start, the staff is very friendly, helpful and attentive to the animals. I love seeing the pictures of daycare on Facebook every day. My boys always look happy, the other dogs look happy...it's a great time for all. They get excited and amped up every time I tell them that they're going to daycare. Unlike another "boarding/daycare" place in the metro area that we recently had a horrific experience with, it doesn't smell like urine or smell like dog at all, the staff is awesome, they're organized and a pleasure to work with. I have never worried about leaving the boys there because I know that they're well taken care of. An added bonus is that Spring Valley Veterinary is right next door, which happens to be the boys vet, in case they ever need to be seen. They come home exhausted from a full day of play with a big, tongue out smile on their faces. They for sure get a 5 star review from me!

So I ask them to please drop my house keys off. *Frankly, I had no desire to use them anymore because they became unreliable*. I'm then told my keys were mailed to my house the day before. WHY WOULD YOU MAIL HOUSE KEYS TO THE HOUSE THEY UNLOCK?! I asked if they were mailed certified and hoped they were so I would need to be home to receive them.
