We landed with Pawfection Pet Salon. The business is very welcoming. I love that it's open, you can see the employees and the pets. Right off the bat I felt a trust with the business that they were not hiding behind a wall. Everyone was so nice. I explained that we we're new in town and that we were nervous about leaving our dogs with a new groomer, but they walked us through the process and were again very open. Ive been here twice now and will continue to come back. They keep me informed, they call with any questions, and honestly i love the communication, it shows they care. This kennel owner was disgruntled with a factual negative Google review that I had left and, rather than discuss the issue between us, she opted instead to publicly post her negative feelings and opinions about me and my review to her customer base on her personal and business Facebook pages. Furthermore, she made false allegations and spread completely untrue information she had obtained from another disgruntled individual. To have no regard for the truth and intentionally denigrate someone's character by publicly bad-mouthing them and spreading false information is vindictive and disgraceful. She has done this to at least two customers within the past few months, and it's not right. For this reason, I am speaking up to say that I cannot recommend this kennel. If a business's professionalism and integrity are of great importance to you, then I strongly recommend taking your pups elsewhere. There are several other excellent kennels in the area that give great care to your fur babies AND who demonstrate a high standard of personal and professional integrity in every way. I never received a call so I came back 5 hours after my appointment was scheduled (I dropped him off 10 minutes early) and he wasn't done. She left most of him too long, but forgot to switch blades and left a bald spot on his tail. Also, he wasn't thoroughly bathed and whatever was put on his coat afterwards left it greasy and attracted a ton of dirt. He had to have another bath less than a week later. All of that said, I think he was treated incredibly well while she worked on him. He was his normal happy go lucky self when I picked him up. The groomer was extremely nice and I can only assume she was just booked a bit heavy that day, resulting in a subpar groom.
