I used their services for about 2 years without any major problems. Then I get a text out of the…read moreblue on a Sunday that they would not longer be able to visit my dogs for their afternoon potty break. That's all I had them do. The text said that they didn't have a worker who could make it to the Northside anymore and that I needed to find other arrangements. Funny that my location wasn't a problem for 2 years. Anyway, I was told this on a Sunday when I relied on their services in 2 days. I was able to scramble and luckily found a trustworthy family member to take over. So I ask them to please drop my house keys off. *Frankly, I had no desire to use them anymore because they became unreliable*. I'm then told my keys were mailed to my house the day before. WHY WOULD YOU MAIL HOUSE KEYS TO THE HOUSE THEY UNLOCK?! I asked if they were mailed certified and hoped they were so I would need to be home to receive them. It's been 7 hours since I asked and no reply yet. Basic common sense, don't mail house keys to the fricking house they unlock!

DO NOT use this company. We say the great reviews and for the 1st time we decided they seemed…read morereliable enough to care for our furbabies. I was very VERY wrong. So the first person I talked to never even showed up for their consultation. Then I was assigned another one, Kat. At first she was very nice and I was very comfortable for her to care for my animals. I left notes around the house for her with toys and treats that were still in toy box when I got home. And the treats were never given out. She was also suppose to bring in the mail but instead it was left in the mail box and front porch. The only thing she did was scoop the boxes and fed the cats. I had bottled water literally right next to their fountain that only 1/2 gallon was used when we ere gone for 10 days? Then I tried to text Kat and nothing and then texted and called again nothing. I was in Florida and wasn't even sure anyone was taking care of them at this point. The worse part was when I called and spoke to Amanada.SHE HAD NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHAT SO EVER!!! Never have I spoke to someone so rude. I wanted to know why their toys weren't put out or treats not given or the fact that there was bottled water for my cats that was never used and 2 of my Boys have problems with crystals in their urine so they can't have tap water. Thus the bottled water that was to be used. The litter boxes were just scooped and no new was put in top and there were 2 full unopened containers of litter right next to the boxes. So do yourself a favor and find someone else to care for your furry family members while you are gone out of town and not this horrible company.

I took my girl Ellie to the Countryside Animal Clinic to see Dr. Hayden Naylor this afternoon. Dr…read more Naylor was very understanding about Ellie's situation with her vomiting, she was very gentle, patient, and caring with my 15 1/2 year old Ellie. Dr. Hayden did a complete health check and gave Ellie Top Notch Care and Ellie took it extremely well and did not get upset being handled by Dr. Naylor and her assistant. I highly recommend taking your beloved dog or cat to see Dr. Naylor. I felt that she actually cared and felt vert sympathetic to my situation. Thank you so very much for your amazing professionalism Dr. Hayden Naylor

I would not recommend Countryside Animal Clinic…read more My elderly dog broke a tooth on Saturday. I found the piece on the ground myself, and by Tuesday she was eating less, so I took her in for a consultation. The reception staff, vet techs, and Dr. Hayden were all wonderful, and I had no issues with them. The problem happened the next day during the scheduled dental procedure with Dr. Kirstin Bloss. After speaking with the vet tech that morning and clarifying why my dog was there, I got a call afterward saying the procedure went well. When I asked how many teeth had been pulled, Dr. Bloss told me none. I reminded her the entire reason for the visit was my dog's broken tooth. Instead of taking accountability, she argued that the tooth looked old and said she had not been told that part, even though that was the reason for the visit. Her solution was to offer to put my 13-year-old dog back under anesthesia after she was already waking up. As an owner, I was not comfortable with that. What made this worse was the complete lack of empathy, accountability, and communication. When I called back because I felt this had not been handled appropriately, I was directed back to Dr. Bloss. She apologized for the "lack of communication," but showed no real concern and even asked why I had switched vets, then suggested I should have gone somewhere else. That was incredibly unprofessional. When I picked up my dog, I asked to speak with Dr. Mike Bloss. Instead of hearing out my concerns, he defended everything that had happened and told me he saw nothing wrong with how I had been spoken to. He said they could have safely put my dog back under based on her bloodwork, but that was never properly explained to me beforehand. He also said removing the tooth may have been worse than leaving it in, which again was never communicated during the consultation. When I asked why none of this had been clearly explained from the start, I was basically told they were not going to make me happy. What disturbed me most was the tone and attitude I was met with when I tried to calmly address a valid concern about my dog's care. I was respectful the entire time. I did not curse, name-call, or act aggressively. I simply wanted answers about why the procedure I brought my dog in for was not done. Instead, I was met with defensiveness, dismissal, and behavior that made me feel very uncomfortable. Based on this experience, I would not trust Dr. Kirstin Bloss or Dr. Mike Bloss with my pets. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and complete absence of empathy toward a concerned pet owner was extremely upsetting.
