Our initial impression of Accurate America was favorable. Dylan Friedman, the salesperson, was good…read morewith updating us on the progress of getting insurance approval for the job as well as letting us know when the replacement of our roof would take place. As far as we know so far, the quality of the work was fine. However, workers broke two of our paver tiles when tossing the old roofing materials off the roof onto the ground. Dylan assured us he would replace the tiles. Weeks went by without him offering suitable options, then months. Frustrated with this lack of progress, I offered to help look for paver tiles, which Dylan took for an excuse to continue to sit back and do nothing. Up until this point, I gave Dylan deposit checks on the spot and made online progress payments immediately when requested. I decided to withhold additional payments until the broken paver tiles were replaced, however, thinking the unpaid amount would encourage the company to finally finish the job. Instead of motivating Accurate America to complete the project, though, they instead sent emails threatening to turn us over to collections. I stated our position that the job wasn't done given the failure of Dylan to replace the tiles; that I would be more than happy, even eager, to send them the final payment when that occurred. Fast forward another month with no tile replacement. Now Dylan threatens to file a lien against our home unless the invoice - less $500 for the tiles, which he finally admits he has no intention of replacing - is paid. I'm no lawyer, but this feels an awful lot like extortion to me. So the end result: Accurate America got their money. We got stuck with replacing the paver tiles Accurate America broke and never replaced. And Accurate America gets this lovely review and a complaint to our insurance company for their unparalleled customer service and follow-through.

We went through multiple different roofing companies and got quotes from 5. Beyond Roofing was one…read moreof the most affordable. We initially picked another company being the cheapest trying to save $100. Boy was THAT a mistake. After signing a contract for that price, they inflated the cost to almost double saying it was an "error" and we needed to sign a new contract. We had to jump through hoops and retain an attorney to cancel that original contract. So you can imagine how skeptical we were when we decided to pick Beyond Roofing next. I about want to cry just thinking how lucky we got. They never raised the original price, they didn't play games, and most importantly... their work is top notch! Our house looks AMAZING. Other companies, you'll wait 2-4 weeks for material to come in, then another 2-4 weeks for the roof to be actually done. NOT with Beyond Roofing. One week! Yeup, within one week we had a signed contract and our roof done. We ended up spending additional money to re-do our decking... but it was our choice. What we suggest to people is do your research. Read the reviews. If they're off by a couple hundred dollars, go with Beyond Roofing. We regret not doing that from the start because it could've saved us 2 months of battling with another company who was shady, shady, shady! Todd inspected our roof and Dan did our contract. Both were super responsive and would get back to us with any questions we had (which were a lot).

I called them, they said they could come in a few days (it was a Friday) and diagnosed what parts would be needed and where to get them (Home Depot). Buying them myself would save us a lot of $$$$ over them spending time sourcing parts. I was surprised by that, most shops like to make money every way they possibly can. So, he just left, he's was a super good guy as always and educated me on both repairs. The bill was still not cheap, about $300, but plumbers are expensive. Highly recommend.

I used a contractor recommended by Total Floors from their "trusted vendor" list for a kitchen and two bathroom renovation. Unfortunately, almost nothing has gone according to plan. First, tile for multiple rooms was ordered incorrectly, causing major delays while replacement material was reordered. In one shower, the tile that was supposed to be 2" x 9" arrived measuring 2" x 9 1/8". That small difference became a major issue because half of the tile was the correct size and half was not. Instead of replacing the flawed batch, I was told to "adjust the design" to hide the inconsistency -- despite paying full price for the product. The cabinet situation has been even worse. I paid the recommended contractor to measure my kitchen cabinets, then hired him for the renovation. Months later, I had to hire a new contractor to completely rehang the cabinets because they were improperly installed, uneven, lacked adequate support, and did not line up correctly. On top of that, several cabinets were measured incorrectly and do not fit the space properly, leaving me with unusable cabinets and an unfinished kitchen. What has been most disappointing is the lack of customer service afterward. I have repeatedly called, emailed, and texted trying to find a solution regarding the cabinet issues, but I receive little to no response. Unless something changes significantly, I cannot recommend Total Floors or their cabinet/vendor partnerships based on my experience. The amount of stress, delays, mistakes, and lack of communication has been extremely disappointing.
