Surfing as a girl can often be intimidating, so having a space where you are seen and valued instead of judged is amazing. My daughter loves it and always has a great time with her friends. I especially love how protective the owner is of her group! Any surfers and bodyboarders who get too close and could potentially hurt the girls by crashing into them are politely told to make space and stay a bit farther away. I love that she isn't timid, as so many women are taught to be. She fights for and gives a voice to her group. This camp isn't a private, elite lesson for advanced surfers. It's a place where girls can have fun and surf together. It's a place where confidence is nurtured and protected. It's a place where I know my child is in the best hands possible, so I don't worry. Surf into Summer Camp is a great program which is why it is North Florida's elite and longest running camp. The 3 to 1 student to instructor ratio provides students with important individual attention. The program is very effective IMO and emphasizes ocean awareness, surfing techniques, surf etiquette, and proper equipment and wave selection. The camp instructors are truly top notch and it's very cool to see kids catching their first wave and taking their surfing to the next level!

As of today, I have given them a MONTH to reply. I even followed up with two additional emails, a voicemail message and a Facebook message and nothing except a Facebook response saying the best form of communication is email. I am ok with no refund, but at the least there should have been a response with an offer of resolution (surf camp the following summer, money towards private lessons, etc.). Any reputable business has a Covid policy at this point. Very disappointing. Too many surf camps to choose from in this area to accept this sort of poor customer service. I'll wrap this up as my donation to their local business and give my repeat business and recommendation elsewhere.

They take the time to actually discuss surfing as far more than just standing on a board.
