This place opened in the summer of 23 during grand prix week.
I pass by sometimes on my way home. I just thought it was a steakhouse, but it's actually a mexican restaurant that's also a steakhouse.
This offering is something different from all the taquerias in the city. I decided to give it a try and it did not disappoint.
While you wait for your order they will serve you some tortillas with three kinds of sauces. Habanero, salsa verde and salsa asada.
I had the al pastor taco, it was ok not bad but it wasn't amazing. The octopus was grilled and the mole sauce was charred onto it, which I thought was a nice touch. It was a bit crusty which I really liked.
The steak sandwich was very good, steak was tender and juicy, the chipotle mayo was so good.
The menu has a lot to offer, a few corn dishes I couldn't order while I was there. There quite a bit of seafood, and also duck on the menu.
I'm definitely coming back to try some new dishes. Not traditional mexican but I did enjoy the westernized approach, this would be a great place to try for someone who's never tried mexican food or doesn't know much about mexican food.. read more
