I had a nice time here coming on a Sunday an hour before close. The store is incredibly clean. I had a birthday ice cream coupon to use. Staff were professional and nice. There was only one person in the front and she appeared to be young (first job vibes.) I was hoping they'd have a discount chocolate area from Easter but no luck. I got a small pistachio and chocolate dream sundae. The chocolate flavor was so rich and incredible. It's a solid spot for ice cream and I wish it would stay open later. I also had a cookies n creme fudge which was also delish (and very sweet!) I'd love to come back. We sat inside but there's also chairs outside. They were all ready there for Mother's Day! read more

It had been many years since my last visit to this Hoffman's location. When my daughter was a young girl, we frequented the Lake Worth location for the holiday displays. In my younger days, I enjoyed visiting this location for chocolate covered pretzels because no other brand holds a candle to Hoffman's IMHO. I'm also obsessed with the jitterbug. If you're a fan of a turtle or anything chocolate, caramel and nutty, this is your calling. Yummmmmy! I specifically visited to purchase a gift for my Dad and satisfy my Jitterbug craving. There were surprisingly a good number of gift options considering it was the day before Easter. In the end, I opted for a box of chocolates and took advantage of the complimentary gift wrap. I also purchased two jitterbugs: one for me and one for a bestie who hasn't loved her best jitterbug life yet. Sharing is caring, right? I highly recommend Hoffman's for your chocolate and gift needs. Godiva closed their boutique at the Gardens and this is only a hop, skip and jump away. Check it out and enjoy! I'm surprised by the handful of complaints about the employees (although some of those reviews are multiple years old) as I've never met anyone unfriendly or unhelpful on my visits. I give five stars for the milk chocolate graham crackers alone ... they are crazy good! You will never go back to Keebler (well, maybe if you're not sober and therefore not picky). Their other product I adore is the caramel apples and the chocolate covered apples. These aren't always available as their shelf life is brief, so if you see one you should leap on it. It's true that this locally made chocolate will cost more than a candy bar in Publix checkout aisle so I don't go often, but discounts are great after the holidays: Easter, Christmas, Valentines. Just cross your fingers that more chocolate hearts or rabbits or Santas were made then people willing to gift them to others. Ha! read more

I believe this location has been here since I was a kid, not sure how. We went in with our children excited to get some sweet treats to celebrate. The employee was MISERABLE, turned around as if we were interrupting her day. then she proceeded to be snarky in response to every question .. including asking about unlabeled products -- that she couldn't identify properly(HUGE allergy risk) they still are getting rid of holiday treats (it's june) ANYWAYS, bad experience aside -- every treat was disgusting. not even my sugar loving toddler finished her chocolate piece. everything tasted as if it was old candy you forgot about in your pantry and tried to eat a year later. read more

Nice little chocolate shop situated in a busy strip mall -- beware the parking situation, you may need to walk a bit to make it to this store, the other restaurants around it are pretty busy and there just isn't much parking to begin with. The store has a wide selection of chocolates in various shapes and sizes, variety pack boxes of different sizes and prices, and of course the counter where you can pick your chocolates a la carte. I picked up a few items on this trip and I have to say I wasn't impressed with the quality for the price. They're not bad by any means but I don't know if I'd go out of my way for them. That said, the folks working here were lovely and it's no slight to the people, I just wasn't impressed as I thought I would be by the product. read more

Service was good. Store is big. Everything is moved over from the factory to here. Sometimes they don't have something in dark chocolate. That's the factory's fault. They have lots of different gift ideas as well as ice cream. I will go back. The chocolate were fresh. read more

I will visit this location again but this was my first time here. I was taken aback when the worker grabbed my cone with her bare hands and tried to serve me. I politely made her aware of it and she didn't apologize for the mistake. Instead, she asked if I wanted her to make a new one. I told the manager, he called her an idiot and didn't apologize either. I am surprised by this well-known establishment. I want to give them another try though. However, the ice cream was amazing! read more

Usually the chocolates and the ice cream are delicious, but we've been in a few times since they reopened after the covid closures and we've been disappointed. So much of the chocolate has the white film that shows that it's old, and the ice cream is old and melty, like the freezer isn't cold enough, and is full of freezer burn. Fortunately, I love chocolate. Hence, the one star. Unfortunately, I do not appreciate rude assistants. Yes, you! The one that told me twice, "I can't hear you!" And yes, that was my husband and daughter with me! Even my daughter recognized the awkwardness. We (my daughter and I) have both worked in customer service positions and there are ways to tell someone that you are not able to hear them. I was not happy with this unfortunate assistant. This shop is so conveniently located in north county. The ice cream is absolutely the best around. I hadn't been here in a few years because they used to have an older lady that was very nasty, but she seems to be gone now. We will definitely be back for chocolates and ice cream now that the staff is friendly and helpful. read more

What a horrible experience. In fact it was so horrible that I redownloaded this app. The staff was more than incompetent. My grandfather found a hair in his cone, my brother received a cup of ice cream he didn't ask for, and my cone tasted like it had been kept in a cabinet for 3 years after its sell date. The staff seemed on edge and unfriendly towards visiting customers. It was deserted, and now I see the reason why. Would not recommend, would not visit again.
