So fun! For my daughter's room!

On Friday the 25th my boyfriend and I stopped in to purchase some glow in the dark stickers for my daughter's bedroom. Although they are a tad dim, she absolutely loved them and now she can sleep and look at the stars! I would definitely recommend this store, if I wanted to buy them out when we stopped in then it's definitely worth 5 stars! Let's just say we'll definitely be back, support local and good luck leaving empty handed, thankfully my boyfriend held me back before I purchased more than we came for LOL!

Very long lines to check out..ridiculous

Is Hobby Lobby that cheap that they can't hire more cashiers???? Came in on a Saturday morning and the line to check out was like 30 customers long!!! WTF! Never shopping here again, they obviously don't respect the customers time and over work their workers by understaffing..I'm going to Michaels from now on.

An excellent addition to my neighborhood! So excited to get our very own Hobby Lobby! I went in on the third day they were open - yeah I was ready! It's in Birdcage, on the Greenback side...where the old Toys R Us used to be. Plenty of parking in front. This HL is definitely smaller than the other two HL's in Sacramento. For me, that's a plus. I get overwhelmed sometimes. Even though it's smaller, it still had all the crafty things. I bought a LOT of stuff. Great home decor. Awesome yarn department... Oh and I bought a front door mat. You never know what you'll find. Employees were helpful and friendly. Check it out for sure!

Kathleen Stevens work. She's so kind, a real team player

The service was unsurpassed. Kathleen Stevens saved my day on the fly! I needed a document framed on the spot and she stopped everything to handle this for me. She showed me many different frames, took the time to set it beautifully, and it was less than the price showed. I expected to pay more, but aside of that...she won this store a customer for life. I will recommend the framing department at cities heights as long as she has a hand in it

SO HAPPY to have a Hobby Lobby in our neighborhood! They are definitely a TERRIFIC addition to the area. Located in the old Toys R Us store next to Lowe's they have anything and everything craft and home decor related. This store is definitely smaller than the other two in the valley so the aisle's are a bit narrow--and its hard to pass another cart--but the sheer volume of choices makes that a minor beef. The employees are very friendly and helpful and were constantly roaming the store asking folks if they needed any help--this is SO NICE to see!! I am very happy they are here and plan to make this location a regular stop. WELCOME HOBBY LOBBY!

Why does hobby lobby has such a hard time to process returns. You have to stand in the longest line. Every time!

Worst customer service I ever seen. Took 30 min to get someone to cut fabric. Even the manager was not willing to help.

They have that one element missing in so many businesses. Beyond an impressive inventory...they have assistance!

They have a lot of synthetic materials, painted instead of real solid wood furniture pieces, etc. During the holidays it's a nightmare but easier to manage in the afternoon. I ended up buying some clearance lamps for a friend here. They had some cute styles but many of them are just too fake for me. If you look hard and are willing to spend more there are some natural stone pieces with some wood accents. My husband says the only thing this kind of store is good for is decorating a little girls room.. felt pretty accurate. Kitchenware also seemed overpriced for what it was.

I was able to find a jar that I was looking for, but noticed there were some damaged ones on the shelf, so I'm glad I opened them and looked before buying the one I ended up with. It was a good price and will work for some upcoming pickling recipes I'm trying. We browsed around and made sure to stop in the dog section to browse for toys, this ones seemed a bit smaller of a selection than some of the stores we frequent, but they had a lot of Halloween costumes for dogs right now. The staff were friendly and while we didn't find everything we were looking for we had fun browsing and I got one of the items on my list.

The staff has always been friendly and ready to help us with any questions we have, and they even have shopping carts at the front of the store! For those who have never been to an antique store before, it's set up into dozens of little square 3-walled rooms. Each one of those sections is usually ran by a vendor who is setting up their own stuff on consignment, and in charge of their own pricing. Because of that, prices are very volatile here. There was a vendor who was selling antiques for only a few dollars because he had so much and just wanted it all gone, while others are selling things for way more than they're worth (I'm looking at you vinyl vendors). I used to appraise records and one common mistake people make is they look up the record and assume the expensive one they see online is the exact same one they have. Only issue is that the value is determined by the pressing and they're looking at a rare one, not the one they have. There was a Star Wars record that goes for $200 online if it was original pressing. In Antique Trove is was being sold for $200, but it wasn't the original pressing and was warped. Nobody is paying for that. So prices can be dirt cheap or insanely overpriced depending on who the vendor is. What I can say about the inventory though is that all these vendors have such different products. Some are only selling vinyl, others had antique guns, furniture, masks, lamps, clothes, etc. It's easy to find something you'll enjoy. It does take a while to be rung up, because they have to manually input everything and record which vendor the items you bought are from, but the staff is friendly while doing it. Just don't expect them ring you up as fast as other retailers. My biggest gripe with antique trove is the back of it. Outside is a big backyard full of products that just feel...neglected. We've found some cool stuff that is covered in webs that are months old. How do I know they're months old? It's because we come here every few months and the same webs are out there. It's always the same exact products out there with the exception of a couple selling or a few more being added, but 99% of the inventory stays the same outside. It feels like a graveyard where those products go to die. I always feel sad walking around out there. On the bright side though, there is a vending machine right next to the door and I always grab myself a snack because I'm starving with how many hours we spend inside. The 3 giants of antique and thrift stores nearby would be Midway Antiques, Antique Trove, and Stardust Vintage Emporium. With Midway having closed a couple years ago, Antique Trove and Stardust are the two I visit the most. I highly recommend checking this place out.

Each space is curated by different sellers and has its own vibe and selection of items. Depending on what you're looking for you'll be able to browse and search through the spaces for hidden treasures. The prices range and you'll be able to find some similar pieces from different sellers at different prices. There's even an outdoor area that has signs, decorations and more. I ended up finding some beanie babies that I used to have as a kid for a good price and went home with three of them. While we were browsing the staff kept offering us baskets to carry the items we found, although some of the spaces were very close quarters and I decided it was easier to carry items instead of using the basket. You'll want to be careful not to knock anything down and to take a good look in each area so you don't miss anything.
